Are poor Chinese text comprehenders also poor in written composition?

We studied the performance in three genres of Chinese written composition (narration, exposition, and argumentation) of 158 grade 4, 5, and 6 poor Chinese text comprehenders compared with 156 good Chinese text comprehenders. We examined text comprehension and written composition relationship. Verbal working memory (verbal span working memory and operation span working memory) and different levels of linguistic tasks—morphological sensitivity (morphological compounding and morphological chain), sentence processing (syntax construction and syntax integrity), and text comprehension (narrative and expository texts)—were used to predict separately narrative, expository, and argumentation written compositions in these students. Grade for grade, the good text comprehenders outperformed the poor text comprehenders in all tasks, except for morphological chain. Hierarchical multiple regression analyses showed differential contribution of the tasks to different genres of writing. In particular, text comprehension made unique contribution to argumentation writing in the poor text comprehenders. Future studies should ask students to read and write parallel passages in the same genre for better comparison and incorporate both instructional and motivational variables.     

西安群众体育报道现状及特点研究

随着我国政府大力推进全民健身计划的实施,群众体育运动的重要性和现实意义日益凸显。媒体作为大众传播工具,在报道群众体育开展和政策宣传方面,具有十分重要的意义。本文选取了《西安晚报》2012年5,6,7三个月体育版的群众体育报道,运用内容分析法对报道进行了特点分析,并认为媒体可以从报道选题、报道角度和报道方式三个方面来完善群众体育报道。     

基于民办高职院校大学生创业教育的现状与思考

创业教育是高等教育过程中的一个新兴学科,很多本科类院校在创业教育过程中尝到过甜头,也遭受过挫折,进而在民办高职院校中开展大学生创业教育工作既是机遇又是挑战。民办高职院校怎样合理、科学的开展创业教育重在进行全面仔细的社会考察、"因地制宜"的自身定位以及科学合理的规划安排。笔者就目前民办高职院校如何开展创业教育工作做了一些探讨。     

人工砂制备混凝土掺比及其性能的研究

通过设计在不同配合比的人工砂和天然砂试验,定性的找到了不同配比与人工砂混凝土抗压强度及干缩性的关系曲线。实验研究结果表明,随着人工砂掺量的增加,人工砂混凝土抗压性能有明显的提高,但是其干缩性能越差。因此,人工砂与天然砂的配合比为3:2时,C40人工砂混凝土有较好的抗压性能和干缩性能,能够达到相应规范的硬性指标。     

基于UG平台的机械原理课程设计新模式探究

针对我院车辆工程专业机械原理课程设计教学瓶颈,探究了一种基于UG工程软件平台的课程设计新模式。该模式面向车辆工程专业特点展开,融入了先进的现代工程设计与分析理念,采用了分层次教学方法,使学生在获得基础知识运用能力的基础上,培养了系统思维能力和现代工程软件应用能力,提高了学生的设计水平以及现代工程素质。     

The Threshold Effect of Advertising on the Intensity of Price Promotions: Using a Rational Expectations Model

Due to the downward sloping demand curve, a retailer can use price promotions to induce store traffic. On the other hand, price promotions can bring negative effects that increase consumers' conditional risks over quality, so that the results expected by retailers may not be achieved. This study investigates whether manufacturer advertising can mitigate the negative effects caused by retailer price promotions. A rational expectation model shows that the relation between advertising and price promotions is not unidirectional. A threshold exists that can ensure whether an increase in advertising expenditures reduces negative effects from price promotions. When advertising coverage exceeds this threshold, an increase in advertising expenditures mitigates negative effects and makes price promotions an effective way to build store traffic. Below the threshold, an increase in advertising expenditures might aggravate the negative effects from price promotions and decrease price sensitivity. Accordingly, marketing practitioners can design product pricing decisions depending on whether advertising information crosses this threshold.     

基于资产清查视角下的高校固定资产管理探析

结合2012年北京市属高校资产清查工作的实践,以资产清查为切入点,就高校开展固定资产清查的意义、清查过程中面临的主要问题及原因进行了阐述与分析,提出解决方法,探讨高校固定资产管理的发展思路,同时就清查之后的制度完善、队伍建设等方面提出了建议,以期提升高校固定资产管理水平.
