The Adoption of the Compact Disk Player: An Event History Analysis for the Netherlands

The compact disk (CD) player was one of the major audio innovations of the 1980s in the Netherlands. For studies of the temporal and social diffusion pattern of the CD player and the compact disks, both cultural and economic theories about innovations and music consumption are available. In this paper, these theories are combined in six working hypotheses concerning earlier adoption. The empirical analysis includes both time-invariant and time-varying variables and consumer characteristics. Event history analysis, the technique used in this article, enables one to incorporate these kinds of variables simultaneously in a dynamic model. Compared with the diffusion models usually employed by means of longitudinal analysis, event history analysis is a significant improvement in studying the development of the CD market in the Netherlands.     

急性力竭运动对大鼠血浆支链氨基酸及氨量变影响的研究

本研究选用９ 只健康成年 Ｓ Ｄ 雄性大白鼠,采用一次性力竭游泳运动方式,通过运动前及运动后即刻从心脏取血, 测定其力竭运动前后血浆尿素氮、支链氨基酸、氨的量变情况。结果表明急性力竭性运动后大鼠血浆尿素氮、支链氨基酸、氨含量均呈明显增高, 且前两者的变化差异有显著意义（ Ｐ＜ ０． ０５）。结果提示急性力竭运动后体内蛋白质分解代谢、支链氨基酸的代谢增强,血浆氨、支链氨基酸的含量变化与运动性疲劳的出现和疲劳程度有密切关系。     

The comparative importance of books: clinical psychology in the health sciences library

Clinical psychology has received little attention as a subject in health sciences library collections. This study seeks to demonstrate the relative importance of the monographic literature to clinical psychology through the examination of citations in graduate student theses and dissertations at the Fordham Health Sciences Library, Wright State University. Dissertations and theses were sampled randomly; citations were classified by format, counted, and subjected to statistical analysis. Books and book chapters together account for 35% of the citations in clinical psychology dissertations, 25% in nursing theses, and 8% in biomedical sciences theses and dissertations. Analysis of variance indicates that the citations in dissertations and theses in the three areas differ significantly (F = 162.2 with 2 and 253 degrees of freedom, P = 0.0001). Dissertations and theses in biomedical sciences and nursing theses both cite significantly more journals per book than the dissertations in clinical psychology. These results support the hypothesis that users of clinical psychology literature rely more heavily on books than many other users of a health sciences library. Problems with using citation analyses in a single subject to determine a serials to monographs ratio for a health sciences library are pointed out.

本刊讯 3月30日下午,北京市"两史一情"办公室在市委会议室主持召开了1997～1998年度青少年教育基地总结表彰大会,在市政府命名的51个青少年教育基地中,北京市档案馆等14个单位被评为"北京市青少年教育基地先进单位",有11个单位获得组织活动奖.中共北京市委常委、宣传部长龙新民,市委宣传部副部长马朝军等领导出席了会议.     

中文政府网站评价指标体系的构建与应用

结合政府网站的特点,采用网上特尔菲法进行专家调查以确定政府网站评价的各项指标,并利用基于指数标度的层次分析法确定各项指标的权重,从而构建科学、合理的政府网站评价指标体系。在此基础上,选择若干中文政府网站作为评价对象：进行实证分析。结合本次评价研究的结果和政府网站的发展趋势,为政府网站的建设提供若干建议。     

P2P网络信息检索的研究进展

在分析P2P网络概念和P2P网络信息检索的基本机制的基础上，基于信息检索的一般原理给出P2P网络信息检索的研究模型，并基于该模型从资源定位、检索模型及用户模型3个方面讨论当前P2P网络信息检索的研究现状，展望P2P网络信息检索的发展趋势。
