独立学院师资建设问题探析

民办学校走内涵发展之路,要有一支较为稳定的、高质量的师资队伍,因而对教师管理的改革和研究变得尤为重要。民办师资管理的改革发展,既需要政府制定和执行利于民办教育发展的政策,创造良好的发展环境,也需要民办学校本身科学的经营和管理,这是一项繁琐而长期的工程。当然,只要社会、学校、教师各方面齐心协力,采取有力措施,按教育规律办事,最大限度地激发教师和工作人员的创造活力,我们有理由相信民办学校的内涵发展道路会走得更坚实和宽广。这也是刊发本专题的期望之所在。     

The effect of modifiers on the stability of a vinyl acetate/ethylene copolymer dispersion

This paper examines the effect of modifiers on the stability of a vinyl acetate/ethylene copolymer dispersion adhesive upon aging. Eighteen common modifiers were added to a well-characterized vinyl acetate/ethylene copolymer dispersion (Dur-O-Set^® E-150) in known concentrations and dry-film samples were subjected to 16–17 years of dark aging and seven to eight years of light aging. Yellowing, pH, gloss, swelling, cohesive strength, and flexibility were monitored for changes upon aging. Generally, the neat Dur-O-Set^® E-150 (no additives) was found to become acidic on aging, but was fairly resistant to yellowing. It also swelled substantially in toluene, was of high gloss, medium strength, and flexible, and remained so on aging. No modifier was found to improve these properties. Various solvents, wetting agents, and thickeners did not alter the properties by much, while plasticizers, freeze-thaw stabilizer, glycerin, and certain fillers had a more negative effect.

基金视角下的学科知识流动网络构建与分析

[目的/意义] 在学科交叉融合的背景和趋势下,科研人员的跨学科研究行为促进了知识在不同学科之间的共享与流动。以基金领域为视角,研究学科知识流动,以期为基金管理工作提出建议。[方法/过程] 提出基于基金代码共现的学科知识流动强度测量方法,并利用社会网络分析方法,对193517个国家自然科学基金项目数据构建学科知识流动网络,探究网络的演变过程以及不同学科层次内知识流动路径。[结果/结论] 通过以上分析,得到如下结论:学科知识流动网络是无标度网络,随着时间的推移,网络的规模和结构都发生显著的变化,网络中重要节点呈非稳态;不同学部之间,存在若干条较为重要的知识流动路径;在某一个学部内,具有较广影响力的一类学科往往更容易构成知识流动链条。     

基于网络问答社区的话题识别与分析——以知乎“老年人”话题为例

[目的/意义]针对目前基于网络的话题识别与分析方法的局限性,提出针对网络问答社区的话题识别与分析方法,为此类网站的话题识别与分析提供参考。[方法/过程]以改进的中文分词技术为基础,构建网络问答社区的话题识别指标,通过线性加权方式计算权重,结合关键词提取方法确定话题关键词,对话题关注焦点进行提取,对分布情况进行测度。依据所提出的改进方法,以知乎网站为数据来源,从话题关键词、关键词分布以及热点子话题3个角度对"老年人"话题焦点进行识别与分析。[结果/结论]研究表明,该方法具有科学性和可行性,不仅拓展了社会问题的分析数据源,也为"积极开展应对人口老龄化行动"提供了决策依据。     

Public Library Services for Veterans: Selected Brief Case Studies

Public libraries across the country design and deliver programs for military veterans and their families, often collaborating with other organizations and agencies. The examples were assembled from both general and specialized interviews with librarians, and literature and Internet searches, with summaries of programs assembled and written by multiple researchers. The specific limitations on the listing in this article are clearly outlined in the first section. Overall, however, the article provides a good introductory overview of what’s going on in veteran’s programs and services in America’s public libraries in over seventy libraries in forty states. We hope this list of what public libraries have organized or are doing will supply other public librarians with ideas on how to provide new services or enhance their existing ones.     

关怀理论:教师专业成长中不可忽视的内容

诺丁斯的关怀理论是20世纪80年代中期提出,并随着90年代初兴起的“学会关心”这一国际教育思潮而备受关注。它为教师的专业成长提出了一种新的研究视角:彰显教师的非理性精神来挑战传统理性;以学习关怀为出发点而建构学校教育和教师成长的新内容;在关怀实践中提升教师专业成长的责任感与动力。     

高职文化基础课教材体系的重构——以永州职业技术学院的调查为例

调查发现，高职生对高职公共文化基础课程的整体认知情况较好，学生偏重内在涵养和动手操作能力的提高，德才兼备已成为高职生的理性追求目标。同时也发现，公共文化基础课程设置及其教材体系存在诸多问题，因此必须重构高职公共文化基础课程，对相关课程进行有机整合，注重系列教材间的优化组合，体现整体性、科学性、校本性的、编写原则。     

A learning-based method to detect and segment text from scene images

This paper proposes a learning-based method for text detection and text segmentation in natural scene images. First, the input image is decomposed into multiple connected-components (CCs) by Niblack clustering algorithm. Then all the CCs including text CCs and non-text CCs are verified on their text features by a 2-stage classification module, where most non-text CCs are discarded by an attentional cascade classifier and remaining CCs are further verified by an SVM. All the accepted CCs are output to result in text only binary image. Experiments with many images in different scenes showed satisfactory performance of our proposed method.
