Academic libraries and university presses

In recent years university presses have undergone some significant changes, such as expansion of their scope to include materials that may have appeal beyond the scholarly market. This article investigates, through the use of a survey of university libraries, the acquisition of university press products by libraries. In general, recent years have been changes in the relationship between university presses and libraries that have resulted in fewer items being purchased by the libraries.     

影响体育函授教育质量诸因素及其分析

本研究通过问卷调研法,调研了200名函授毕业学员对函授教育五个因素55个指标的意见,对反馈意见量化处理后进行分析讨论,以便了解体育函授教育特点与现状,了解影响体育函授教育质量的诸种因素及其主要因素,为改进体育函授管理工作、提高函授教育质量提供依据。调研结果发现,自学条件是对函授教育质量影响最大的因素,其余依次为学习效果、自学情况、面授情况以及函授教材。     

初读萨特的《词语》

萨特首先是一位文学家，然后才是伟大的哲学家。在《词语》中，作者解释了他作为一个写作者的存在的最初根由。用业已形成的存在主义观点分析了他的童年。在《词语》中，萨特用文学性的语言，形象诠释了他的哲学思想的一些重要的范畴，向读者展示了存在主义的生存状态，分析了自己童年的独特体验和他作为存在主义哲学大师最初的生活经历，《词语》也是一个遥远时代的反映。     

Creating a Binary Policy in Austria

In 1993, the Government of Austria passed legislation establishing a 'binary policy' in higher education. A new accrediting body the Fachhochschulrat was created, empowered to accredit vocationally oriented courses in any institution seeking to offer them. Institutions meeting certain conditions will be entitled to seek designation as Fachhochschulen. The policy marks an important departure from the traditionally highly regulated and centralized system of policymaking in Austria. The article offers an analysis of the factors leading to the policy and analyses the implications for the future. It draws on the author's experience as a member of a team of examiners from the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) undertaking a policy review of Austrian higher education, and points to lessons for Austria from the United Kingdom's experience over the last 25 years.     

运动性中枢疲劳机制的研究进展(综述)

本文采用文献资料研究法，对运动疲劳产生的中枢机制进行综合性分析．资料表明：一些特殊的神经生物学机制影响着中枢神经系统（CNS）发送和维持足够的神经冲动，成为疲劳产生的可能机制；另外，运动时CNS产生的神经递质、调质、神经激素：如5-羟色胺、多巴胺、氨类等物质，也是运动性中枢疲劳产生的敏感物质。     

对高校篮球运动队"抢篮板球"的技术分析与训练研究

结合高校篮球运动队篮球训练与比赛中的篮板球问题 ,对篮板球的技术与战术进行分析 ,指出篮板球是获得球权、发动快攻和二次进攻 ,使球队取胜的关键因素之一。本文针对加强大学生篮板球意识及其采用的技、战术训练方法进行了深入地研究。     

《茶经》是陆羽揭开茶事秘密的一面镜子

最近读日本文学修士冈仓天心（1862～1913年）在明治三十九年（1905年）写成的《说茶》中文新译本，东京大学藤田一美教授在题写《致中国读者））代序中说，这本书和中国读者见面。“就像回娘家的姑娘似的”，但“真是太晚了些”。其实，早在1942年，我国学者已经看到这本书，并且译为《茶之书”。书中关于唐代茶文化，主要是以陆羽及其《茶经》为张本，天心先生明确指出：第，“茶。开始是用作药材。后来就成为饮料。     

Publisher and author partnerships: a changing landscape

This article discusses the changing relationships of authors and publishers, the current trends and challenges they face, and the direction of these relationships in the future. As the STM publishing industry finds itself in the midst of significant technological and economic changes, this article provides background to these changes and looks at the key elements, including open access business development, institutional repository trends, and emerging public financing policies in the future.
