职业院校广告设计专业素描课程教学探讨

＂造型＂能力是广告设计人才的基本能力之一。素描是一切造型艺术的基础。广告设计专业的素描教学必须紧密结合专业需要,摆正其在广告设计专业教学体系中的位置,科学、合理安排教学内容,选择适当的教学方法,有的放矢的进行教学。     

Editorial: glocalisation and the learning city

This paper defines organizational social consciousness, addresses stakeholder vs. stockholder needs, presents definitions of organizational social responsibility and defines socially conscious HRD. The paper concludes with a continuum for socially conscious HRD that incorporates: serving an educative and supportive role to help organizations uphold implied contracts and expectations of the organization, promoting ethical management and leadership, advocating for stakeholders, broadening definitions and measures of organization performance, challenging and revising socially ‘unconscious’ policies and practices, analysing and negotiating power relations, and promoting the use of organization resources to create social benefit and improve social welfare.     

Meeting English Language Needs in Teacher Education: a flexible support model for non-English speaking background students

The English language needs of students in teacher education programmes have become an issue of concern. There has been an increase in the numbers of local and international students, the range of their backgrounds and the diversity of their language needs. This paper explores the question of what constitutes effective English language support for students, focusing on the development of provision for a group of 110 overseas-trained teachers undertaking teacher education at the University of Sydney between 1999 and 2002. Data are drawn from focus group interviews, semi-structured interviews with students and staff and student learning journals. The paper proposes an integrated and flexible model of English language support involving content-based units, tutoring/mentoring programmes and self-directed study. Such a model may be useful for English language support for different groups of English as a second language (ESL) students in other contexts at tertiary and secondary levels.     

AN INVESTIGATION OF THE CONTEXT EFFECT IN MATRIX SAMPLING1

Practical use of the matrix sampling (i.e. item sampling) technique requires the assumption that an examinee's response to an item is independent of the context in which the item occurs. This assumption was tested experimentally by comparing the responses of examinees to a population of items with the responses of examinees to item samples. Matrix sampling mean and variance estimates for verbal, quantitative, and attitude tests were used as dependent variables to test for differences between the “context” and “out-of-context” groups. The estimates obtained from both treatment groups were also compared with actual population values. No significant differences were found between treatments on matrix sample parameter estimates for any of the three types of tests.     

密叶罗勒茎尖组织培养研究

以密叶罗勒的茎尖为外植体,以期筛选出诱导愈伤组织分化和丛生芽生根的最佳培养基。同时研究了密叶罗勒组织培养中材料的消毒时间对消毒效果的影响。试验结果表明,培养基MS＋6-BA5．0mg/L＋NAA0．1mg/L是愈伤组织诱导分化相对较好的培养基;培养基MS＋6-BA0．3mg/L＋NAA0．6mg／L是罗勒生根培养较好的培养基。在以75％的酒精消毒30秒后,用0．1％的升汞消毒2min,对试验材料的消毒效果相对较好。
