Conclusion Although many questions remain unanswered, these early translations of the AECT Code of Ethics will be available at the AECT
Web site to ensure that access to the principles is offered in languages other than English. As they become available, more
translations will be added to the English, Farsi, French, Mandarin Chinese, Portuguese, and Spanish versions. The translations
will be saved as PDF files to retain the unique characters of each language.
Additional translators with expertise in both educational technology and the targeted languages will be identified. Exploration
of ways to encourage debate regarding the viability of the translations within diverse cultures continues. The ultimate hope
is that collaboration among members of the professional ethics committee of AECT, the translators, and interested educators
will result in the development of a Code of Ethics that “speaks” across cultures and establishes a meaningful guide to professional
conduct around the world.

ResumenSe hace una revisión de las investigaciones soviéticas y occidentales sobre el desarrollo de las acciones de memoria (estrategias en la terminología occidental). La distinción entre actividades y procesos de memorización no deliberada y actividades y procesos de memorización deliberada facilita la integración de las aportaciones de ambas vías de investigación, soviética y occidental. En todo el desarrollo de las acciones de memoria, el aspecto central es la adquisición de control por parte del sujeto (control que va transfiriéndose del adulto al niño de forma gradual) que culmina con la constitución del sistema ejecutivo de control de la memoria. IntroductionEpithelial cells (ECs) are structures regularly observed during urine microscopy analysis. The correct identification of EC subtypes can be useful since renal tubular epithelial cells (RTECs) are clinically relevant. We investigate the urinary ECs report and the judgement of its clinical importance by Brazilian laboratories.Materials and methodsA survey with four questions was made available to participants of the Urinalysis External Quality Assessment Program (EQAP) from Controllab. Laboratories composed 3 groups: (1) differentiating ECs subtypes: “squamous”, “transitional” and “RTECs”; (2) differentiating ECs subtypes: “squamous” or “non-squamous” cells; (3) without ECs subtype identification. Participants did not necessarily answer to all questions and the answers were evaluated both within the same laboratory’s category and within different categories of laboratories.ResultsA total of 1336 (94%) laboratories answered the survey; Group 1, 119/140 (85%) reported that ECs differentiation is important to the physician and 62% want to be evaluated by EQAP, while in Group 3, 455/1110 (41%) reported it is useful to them, however only 25% want be evaluated by EQAP. Group 2 laboratories 37/51 (73%) reported that the information is important, but only 13/52 (25%) are interested in an EQAP with differentiation of the 3 ECs subtypes.ConclusionMost of the laboratories do not differentiate ECs in the three subtypes, despite the clinical importance of RTECs. ABSTRACTThere has been an increase in the aging population in developed countries. This has led to a need for trained people in the gerontological field. The most common academic way of specializing in this field in Spain is via a master's program. It is well known that investing in human capital increases knowledge, productivity, and the probability of getting a job. The question is if these kinds of educational programs are useful to provide real preparation for students and if the programs are useful for getting into the job market. We asked graduates to supply the answers. A survey was completed by 144 graduates from the Universities of Salamanca and Seville. Most graduates selected these master's programs to increase their probability of getting a job. A total of 64.6% reported that they had got a job, 38.8% of which got one in the first 2 years after graduating. A total of 55.6% felt that they had got a job thanks to having done the master's program. The usefulness of the acquired knowledge (47.9%) and social networks (28.8%) was seemingly high when getting a job. A high percentage of students (67%) found a job in this field after completing the master's program, and they got their first experience in a relatively short period after graduating. Investment in human capital is considered useful by graduates. The labor market is interested in highly qualified specialists. To have a postgraduate degree is still an advantage in getting a job, even after the 2008 economic crisis. 相似文献

‘Network’ is a fashionable and current term in every field of contemporary society and education is no exception. In this paper, the concept of network (and other associated concepts, such as partnership and collaboration) is reviewed. Such revision regards selected theoretical contributions and is explored in terms of the use of the concepts in legal documents and in the discourses of aldermen and educational officers from Portuguese municipalities, offering a critical and multi-layered perspective. The analysis reveals the various layers of the network concept, often appearing vague and diffuse. It is a floating signifier disputed by different discourses and embodied by different meanings. This, in turn, brings major research problems linked to the use of the concept of network in education. 相似文献
