This research examined the time courses of emotions in sport settings (anxiety, dejection, anger, happiness, excitement) experienced by mountain ultra-marathon (MUM) runners within the month following a demanding MUM race and the role of emotional intelligence (EI) in these time courses. A six-wave one-month longitudinal design was used with one measurement point within two days before the race to measure EI and five time points within the month following the race to assess emotions experienced among a sample of 29 runners. Results of multilevel growth curve analyses showed significant linear decreases of dejection and anxiety and a significant linear increase of anger. EI was related to the intercept (level at the end of the MUM race) of happiness, excitement and dejection. Moreover the interaction of EI with time was associated with happiness, excitement and anger. This means that high and low emotional intelligent runners exhibited distinct trajectories of emotional intelligence within the month following the MUM race. Indeed, trait-EI appeared to have a protective role against stress process leading to emotional adjustment within the recovery period following an ultra-endurance event. As such, consultants and coaches could conduct specific program over the sport season designed to enhance trait-EI of MUM runners.  相似文献

Relevance of bibliometric indicators on scientific areas critically depends on the quality of their delineation. Macro-level studies, often based on a selected list of journals, accept a high degree of fuzziness. Micro-level studies rely on sets of individual articles in order to reduce noise and enhance precision of retrieval. The most usual information retrieval process is based on lexical queries with various levels of sophistication. In the experiment on Nanosciences reported here, this process was used as a first step, to delineate a ‘seed’ of literature. It has strong limitations, especially for emerging or transversal fields. In a second step, the alternative approach of citation linkages, was used to expand the bibliography starting from lexical seed. The extension process presented is ruled by three parameters, two deal with the cited side (threshold on citation score, and specificity towards the field), one with the citing side (threshold on the number of relevant references) interplaying in the ‘referencing structure’ function (RSF) introduced in a previous work. This type of combination proves effective for delineating the transversal field of Nanosciences. Further improvements of the method are discussed.  相似文献

This study assessed the genetic and environmental contributions to peer difficulties in the early school years. Twins' peer difficulties were assessed longitudinally in kindergarten (796 twins, Mage = 6.1 years), Grade 1 (948 twins, Mage = 7.1 years), and Grade 4 (868 twins, Mage = 10 years) through multiple informants. The multivariate results revealed that genetic factors accounted for a strong part of both yearly and stable peer difficulties. At the univariate level, the genetic contributions emerged progressively, as did a growing consensus among informants with respect to those who experienced peer difficulties. These results underline the need to intervene early and persistently, and to target the child and the peer context to prevent peer difficulties and their consequences.  相似文献

This paper describes the development and formative evaluation of a computer-assisted tutoring program to help students who experience problems learning to read. Based on a combination of social constructivist and behavioral theories, this program addresses the cost and quality issues associated with delivering high quality, cost-effective tutoring. Initial feedback on the beta version of the program provides support for developing a program designed with “just in time” support for tutors and interactive activities for tutees based on material that students are struggling with in their reading class.  相似文献

Multicultural counseling is often promoted as a core element in counselor development. As such, educational efforts aim to increase counselors’ cultural relativism, or their ability to recognize their own enculturation and to appreciate the value of other cultural norms. This mixed qualitative-quantitative study explored the relationship between counselor and human service professional trainees’ moral development levels and their cultural assumptions after they had experienced a course in cultural diversity. Four themes were noted: (i) reflexivity about culture, (ii) orientation toward activism and advocacy, (iii) differences in attitudes toward sexual orientation and religion, and (iv) increased alertness to culture. Implications for culturally alert practice are discussed.  相似文献

Resumen

Con el objeto de tener un mayor conocimiento del funcionamiento de las formas verbales en castellano, este trabajo aporta datos empíricos relativos a la manera cómo se representan las características del proceso (Aktionsart) descritas por el verbo. Tres son los factores estudiados: la duratividad, la resultatividad y la iteratividad o continuidad del proceso. Utilizando una metodología de representación gráfica se han recogido datos de una población de 42 adultos y 72 niños distribuidos en 4 grupos correspondientes a los cursos 2°, 4°, 6° y 8°

Los resultados obtenidos con los nueve verbos estudiados demuestran, por un lado, la validez del método ya que hace aparecer una neta dicotomía que opone los procesos resultativos no durativos a los no resultativos durativos, y por otro, que la duratividad y la resultatividad del proceso son captados de manera muy semejante por los adultos y por los niños de 4°, 6.° y 8.°, si bien los de 2.° denotan un menor acuerdo interindividual. Por último, el factor duratividad o iteratividad no constituye en esta prueba una dimensión discriminante.  相似文献

RESUMEN

El artículo plantea la importancia de las relaciones maestro-alumno en el proceso educativo. Toda transformación esencial de la relación enseñante-educando pasa necesariamente por un cambio del proceso educativo y, más ampliamente, por un cambio de orden institucional. Se muestra la influencia determinante de los factores institucionales sobre el sistema de categorización a partir del cual el adulto-enseñante construye su representación del alumno, y la importancia de las representación que del maestro tienen los alumnos en su eficacia educativa. Puede existir también un desequilibrio entre la representación que el maestro tiene de sí mismo, la que de él tienen sus alumnos y la que le gustaría que tuviesen de él. Este desequilibrio genera malestar y el enseñante debería en este caso modificar sus conductas pedagógicas.  相似文献
