A digital image analysis algorithm based color and morphological features was developed to identify the six varieties (ey7954, syz3, xs1 1, xy5968, xy9308, z903) rice seeds which are widely planted in Zhejiang Province. Seven color and fourteen morphological features were used for discriminant analysis. Two hundred and forty kernels used as the training data set and sixty kernels as the test data set in the neural network used to identify rice seed varieties. When the model was tested on the test data set,the identification accuracies were 90.00%, 88.00%, 95.00%, 82.00%, 74.00%, 80.00% for ey7954, syz3, xsl 1, xy5968, xy9308,z903 respectively. 相似文献

This paper examines the ways in which two Internet-based civil society groups, Hasiru Usiru and Praja, negotiate online and offline spaces of collective action in Bangalore, India’s “IT City.” Based on ethnographic research, the study extends collective action theory through an examination of communicative interactions and experiences of urban civil society actors in a developing country. The paper highlight factors that impede and support collective actions, including attitudes toward the Internet as a tool for democratic engagement, ideological motivations, and perceptions of identity and membership, among others. Such a line of inquiry is significant in highlighting the possibilities of ICTs for collective action, while simultaneously avoiding the tendency to inflate and overestimate their capacity to produce social change. 相似文献

E T Bell, the famous author of ‘Men of Mathematics’, has described mathematics as the ‘Queen of Arts and Servant of Science’. What he meant is that mathematics serves science by entering into the picture as soon as a proper mathematical model is set up by the scientist, and then after a purely mathematical analysis of the model, the final mathematical step is interpreted scientifically. The purpose of the present article is to convince the readers that sometimes the roles of science and mathematics are reversed, and a mathematical problem is interpreted as a physics problem; the laws of physics are utilized for a physical analysis, and the final result of the physical analysis is interpreted mathematically.
