学业成就中等生和学习优良生的自我监控与语、数、英学业成绩关系的研究

采用量表法对115名学业成就中等生和108名学习优良学生的自我监控与语文、数学、英语成绩的关系进行了具体研究。结果发现，学业成就中等生的自我监控水平显著低于学习优良学生，主要体现在执行性、反馈性、补救性、总结性尤其是方法性等方面。不同学科与自我监控的关系有各自的特点。其中，自我监控与数学的关系最为密切，补救性和总结性的自我监控能力的差异是造成学业成就中等生和学习优良生数学成绩差异的重要原因。自我监控与语文、英语的关系则因学生类型而异：学业成就中等生的自我监控与语文、英语成绩无显著关系。而学习 自我监控则与英语成绩有显著的正相关，主要体现在意识性、方法性、反馈性等方面。此外，其自我监控中的意识性、方法性维度也与语文成绩有显著的正相关，这说明提高学业成就中等生的语文和英语成绩，应把自我监控的意识性和方法性的培养放在重要位置上。

Using the Bayes Factors to Evaluate Person Fit in the Item Response Theory

In this article, we propose using the Bayes factors (BF) to evaluate person fit in item response theory models under the framework of Bayesian evaluation of an informative diagnostic hypothesis. We first discuss the theoretical foundation for this application and how to analyze person fit using BF. To demonstrate the feasibility of this approach, we further use it to evaluate person fit in simulated and empirical data, and compare the results with those of H^T and the infit and outfit statistics. We found that overall BF performed as well as H^T statistics and better than the infit and outfit statistics when detecting aberrant responses. Given the BF flexibility in handling data set with a small number of examinees, we suggest that BF can be used as person fit statistics, especially in computerized adaptive tests.

Confucius Institutes and China’s soft power: practices and paradoxes

Since China’s implementation of the Confucius Institute (CI) project in 2004, most academic works have been written on its objectives, nature, features, development, problems and challenges, especially in terms of soft power projection. Though some of them could unravel the tensions and paradoxes in the CI project, there is a paucity of in-depth and focused analysis on the related issues with a more systematic framework. Utilising Tellis et al.’s tripartite taxonomy approach to power – resources, strategies and outcomes – and integrating it with Nye’s tripartite approach to exercising power – coercion, inducement and attraction – this paper aims to fill this research gap. The findings can shed light on the tensions and paradoxes in China’s development of soft power by providing a more systematic and integrated framework for analysing the dilemmas and predicaments in the exercise of its power strategies in the global age.     

学年制、学年学分制、学分制的比较分析

文章通过对高校学年制、学年学分制、学分制三种教育体制的涵义、特征、产生的背景、优缺点等几方面的比较分析，认为在高校推行学分制势在必行，并提出了实施学分制必须解决的问题及相关对策。

就学术腐败的界定、危害性、内在根源以及社会控制等问题作出了深入的探讨。认为学术资源分配中的利益失街、学术的“失范”、学术民主的匮乏等是产生学术腐败的内在原因，主张通过重树学术诚信之风、建立学术公正制度以及通过正确处理学术自由与学术自律、学术惩罚与学术宽容的关系，来战胜学术腐败。
