修辞与语法的界限

本文以几种类型的定中短语为对象 ,分析研究了在语义组合上 ,修辞手段与语法手段的区别 ,指出 ,语法关系与语义关系的不对应 ,是现代汉语的特点 ,在分析语法结构时 ,如果不认识或者忽略这个特点 ,片面地从语法关系的角度去考察语义关系 ,就会作出不符合语言运用实际的分析。本文着重分析了形容词做定语的 ,具有语法关系与语义关系不对应特征的定中短语 ,对其类型、语义组合方式、构成条件作了分析研究     

Development of a Clinical Practice Model for Serving Clients with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder

There is a lack of systematic research on the training of clinicians toward providing counselling services and support to individuals with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD). The aim of this qualitative project was twofold: (1) to develop and pilot a clinical consultation process that would address clinicians’ reported need for greater communication and information sharing in serving clients affected by FASD; and (2) to build a model of FASD-informed clinical counselling practice by examining this consultation process and by capturing the experiences of clinicians who were involved. Findings from focus groups and meeting minutes are reported with respect to the model’s focus on reflection, communication, and action.

各电视台纷纷推出的以湖南卫视《快乐大本营》为代表的综艺栏目,采取反精英文化和走向大众(通俗)化的立场,对电视文本元叙事功能进行解构,打破了高雅艺术与大众艺术的界限,颠覆了传统综艺栏目的意识形态和政治教化的功能。其所创造的虚拟的“快乐空间”,拉近了电视与普通观众的距离,有浓郁的平民气息,具有后现代主义的某些特征。     

跨国实时同步交互式教学实践

本文主要以清华大学、京都大学和马来亚大学共同开展的实时同步教学为背景,阐述了利用现代信息技术,创建跨国实时同步教学平台的实践;比较了不同的网络条件对跨国教学的影响及学习者的收获与感受;着重分析了跨国实时同步教学在共享高校科研成果、提高教学水平、增强科研能力、缩小与国际一流学校的差距、使参与者及时了解掌握本专业的国际水平和发展动态等方面具备的优势和价值.     

ACHIEVEMENT MOTIVATION OF INTELLECTUALLY GIFTED STUDENTS WHEN CONFRONTED WITH CHALLENGING AND UNCHALLENGING TASKS

Two groups of gifted adolescents solved two similar intelligence tests with differing levels of task difficulty in reverse order. Under both conditions the performance level on the less complex test was much lower, a result not observed in a control group of average intelligence. Behavioural observations revealed that the low performance of the gifted students was combined with lack of effort. This performance pattern is discussed with respect to recent postulates of achievement motivation theory, which empasize the impact not only of the achievement motive, but also of the informational value of a given task for evaluating own level of ability. It is argued that the perceived informational value of the easier test was not high enough to create an incentive for the gifted students to perform at the highest possible level     

Administration for innovation in higher education

The paper commences from the premise that the major paradigms of administration are not appropriate to higher education. Structural approaches place too great an emphasis on the organization and its mission, subjectivist approaches fail to acknowledge the constraints and enablements of structure and the role of continuity and radical change approaches fail to provide a positive basis for administration. The paper outlines an approach to educational administration which addresses these difficulties. It is based on structuration theory together with cooperative learning theory and group work. The paper reports an investigation of an attempt to apply this approach to the administration of a program of teaching awards in an Australian university. It reports some success and some limitations.Peter Ling is engaged in education quality assurance and educational development at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. He is the President of the Victorian Branch of the Higher Education Research and Development Society of Australia. Dr. Ling's current research is in faculty responses to educational development activities. He holds M.Ed, and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Melbourne. Lorraine Ling is Chair of the Teaching Center at LaTrobe University, Melbourne, Australia. The focus of her research and publication is analysis of administrative systems in education. She has wide experience in schools and in teacher education. She has engaged in educational consultancy, including faculty development, in Australia, Europe, and Asia. She holds an M.Ed, from Deakin University.
