Stability and bifurcation of delay-coupled genetic regulatory networks with hub structure

In this paper, we study the local stability and bifurcation of a delay-coupled genetic regulatory networks consisting of two modes with the hub structure. By analyzing the equilibrium equation, the number of the positive equilibria is discussed in both the cases that there are inhibition coupling and activation coupling in the networks. It is revealed that multiple equilibria could exist in the developed genetic networks and the number of the equilibria could be distinct under the two cases of delayed-coupling. For the equilibrium, the conditions of the coupling-delay-independent stability and the saddle-node bifurcation are derived with respect to the biochemical parameters. The coupling-delay-dependent stability and the Hopf bifurcation criteria on the biological parameters and the coupling delay are also given. Moreover, the complexity of the algorithm used in this paper is analyzed. The numerical simulations are made to certify the obtained results. The multistability of the developed genetic regulatory networks is displayed. The different effects of the coupling delay on the stability of the genetic networks under different biochemical parameters are shown.     

Observer-based decentralized control of large-scale stochastic high-order feedforward systems with multi time delays

This paper investigates the problem of observer-based decentralized control for a class of large-scale stochastic high-order feedforward systems with multi time delays. By using the homogeneous domination idea and constructing the implementable observer, the decentralized output-feedback controller design scheme is firstly proposed. Then, with the aid of stochastic time delay system stability theory, the globally asymptotically stable in probability of the closed-loop system is verified by selecting an appropriate Lyapunov–Krasoviskii functional. Finally, an example is provided to demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed design method.

Ecological principle meets cancer treatment: treating children with acute myeloid leukemia with low-dose chemotherapy

Standard chemotherapy regimens for remission induction of pediatric acute myeloid leukemia (AML) are associated with significant morbidity and mortality. We performed a cohort study to determine the impact of reducing the intensity of remission induction chemotherapy on the outcomes of selected children with AML treated with a low-dose induction regimen plus granulocyte colony stimulating factor (G-CSF) (low-dose chemotherapy (LDC)/G-CSF). Complete response (CR) after two induction courses was attained in 87.0% (40/46) of patients receiving LDC/G-CSF. Post-remission therapy was offered to all patients, and included standard consolidation and/or stem cell transplantation. During the study period, an additional 94 consecutive children with AML treated with standard chemotherapy (SDC) for induction (80/94 (85.1%) of the patients attained CR after induction II, P = 0.953) and post-remission. In this non-randomized study, there were no significant differences in 4-year event-free (67.4 vs. 70.7%; P = 0.99) and overall (70.3 vs. 74.6%, P = 0.69) survival in the LDC/G-CSF and SDC cohorts, respectively. After the first course of induction, recovery of white blood cell (WBC) and platelet counts were significantly faster in patients receiving LDC/G-CSF than in those receiving SDC (11.5 vs. 18.5 d for WBCs (P < 0.001); 15.5 vs. 22.0 d for platelets (P < 0.001)). To examine the quality of molecular response, targeted deep sequencing was performed. Of 137 mutations detected at diagnosis in 20 children who attained hematological CR after two courses of LDC/G-CSF (n = 9) or SDC (n = 11), all of the mutations were below the reference value (variant allelic frequency <2.5%) after two courses, irrespective of the treatment group. In conclusion, children with AML receiving LDC/G-CSF appear to have similar outcomes and mutation clearance levels, but significantly lower toxicity than those receiving SDC. Thus, LDC/G-CSF should be further evaluated as an effective alternative to remission induction in pediatric AML.     

在线健康社区的用户持续知识分享意愿研究——一个集成社会支持与承诺—信任理论的模型

[目的/意义] 近些年来,在线健康社区变得越来越流行。然而,较少社区能成功地维持用户并激励他们持续的分享知识。本文将社会支持理论和承诺-信任理论结合起来,构建一个集成模型来研究在线健康社区用户的持续知识分享意愿的影响因素。[方法/过程] 根据获得的475份有效调查问卷,本文使用SPSS20.0和AMOS20.0检验所提出的假设。[结果/结论] 研究发现,信息支持、情感支持对满意度和信任均有显著影响,网络支持仅对满意度有显著影响。此外,满意度和信任除了对持续知识分享意愿有直接正向影响外,还通过关系承诺的中介,有间接的作用。研究有助于深化对知识分享行为的认识以及帮助在线健康社区的管理者更好地维系用户。     

欧盟数据保护官制度研究

[目的/意义]欧盟数据保护新规（GDPR）中的数据保护官（DPO）制度颇受关注。追溯DPO制度演进路径，剖析DPO的设置与具体职责，考察欧盟DPO制度实施与影响，不止关乎中国企业对欧贸易，更是我国相关规则体系构建的重要参考。[方法/过程]通过梳理GDPR中有关DPO的条款及相关过程文本，发现在GDPR规定的3种情形下，数据控制者/处理者应设置数据保护官。DPO的职责包括对数据控制者相关工作人员的告知和建议、监督数据处理的合规性、联络数据主体、同监管机构合作、数据处理活动的记录与归档、培训以及保密等。[结果/结论]设置DPO对于确保数据控制者的合规、减轻监管机构负担影响深远。欧盟DPO制度对中国企业/机构的启示在于：应按GDPR的规定设置DPO，并设计完整的数据保护监督流程；对中国数据保护监督及机制建设的启示包括：明确规定数据控制者应设置数据保护专门岗位和专业人员、对不合规的数据控制者给予相应的责任追究和惩罚、加强数据监管机构的建设。

采用文献资料法、系统分析法等，对我国青少年校园篮球运动发展的动力机制进行构建。研究表明：我国青少年校园篮球运动发展的动力机制的构成包括青少年校园篮球动力运作过程及原理、青少年校园篮球动力功能、青少年校园篮球动力结构3个部分；我国青少年校园篮球运动发展的动力因素包括青少年个体因素、家庭动力因素、校园动力因素、社会动力因素几个方面。     

Coupled matrix factorization and topic modeling for aspect mining

Aspect mining, which aims to extract ad hoc aspects from online reviews and predict rating or opinion on each aspect, can satisfy the personalized needs for evaluation of specific aspect on product quality. Recently, with the increase of related research, how to effectively integrate rating and review information has become the key issue for addressing this problem. Considering that matrix factorization is an effective tool for rating prediction and topic modeling is widely used for review processing, it is a natural idea to combine matrix factorization and topic modeling for aspect mining (or called aspect rating prediction). However, this idea faces several challenges on how to address suitable sharing factors, scale mismatch, and dependency relation of rating and review information. In this paper, we propose a novel model to effectively integrate Matrix factorization and Topic modeling for Aspect rating prediction (MaToAsp). To overcome the above challenges and ensure the performance, MaToAsp employs items as the sharing factors to combine matrix factorization and topic modeling, and introduces an interpretive preference probability to eliminate scale mismatch. In the hybrid model, we establish a dependency relation from ratings to sentiment terms in phrases. The experiments on two real datasets including Chinese Dianping and English Tripadvisor prove that MaToAsp not only obtains reasonable aspect identification but also achieves the best aspect rating prediction performance, compared to recent representative baselines.     

基于本体的引文知识服务原型系统设计与实现

[目的/意义]当前，国内引文数据库建设已经初具规模，但现有的引文知识服务系统不能很好地揭示引文之间的结构或关系，给引文的获取、共享和利用带来一定困难。[方法/过程]以引文数据作为研究对象，对所涉及的各种知识进行获取和整理，探讨引文之间的语义关系，构建科研人员本体和引文知识本体两个本体，设计并初步实现引文知识服务原型系统。[结果/结论]对基于本体的引文知识服务原型系统构建进行验证，实验结果表明，基于本体的引文知识服务原型系统基本实现预定的目标与功能。
