论“通识”与“通识教育”

通识在本体论与认识论层面 ,是对常识、对科学的超越 ,在人生观与价值观层面 ,通识是对人的生命本然、终极目的与理想等意义世界的观照。在物质化与科技化的今天 ,人类需要特别关注通识。然而 ,达至通识之境并非自然自发过程 ,而是一个自为自觉过程。人类的通识 ,需要教育的参与、引导、培育和建构     

EFL teachers’ perceptions of English language policy at the elementary level in Taiwan

Due in large part to the trends towards economic globalization, English has become the most widely disseminated and ubiquitous international language. The purpose of the study was to investigate what Taiwan’s EFL teachers at the elementary level believe about the policy of English as a compulsory subject and how they perceive the benefits and obstacles of the policy’s implementation. Ten elementary English teachers in Tainan City and its suburban areas participated in this study. Data were collected through teachers’ interviews, classroom observation and document analysis. Results found that all ten teachers agreed with the policy for English as a compulsory subject at the elementary level. They observed both positive and negative sides of this top‐down policy. Classroom observation and interview data revealed that EFL teachers had to plan their English classes with the constraints on a large class of students with mixed levels of proficiency, limited teaching hours and resources. Parents’ expectations of and attitudes towards English learning also became an obstacle.     

何杰金氏病肿瘤细胞生物学特征研究

目的对何杰金氏病肿瘤细胞进行形态学观察和免疫表型研究.材料方法福尔马林固定,石蜡包理的何杰金氏病组织12例(NSHL6例,MCHL5例,LDHL1例)进行HE染色和CD30、CD15、CD20、CD45RO、Ki-67抗原免疫组化在肿瘤细胞和背景成分中的表达情况.结果(1)R-S细胞有各种变体形式.(2)各型HL具有不同的背景成分和组织学特征.(3)NSHL肿瘤细胞表达CD30(6/6)、CD15(1/6),不表达CD20(0/6).MCHL肿瘤细胞表达CD30(5/5)、CD15(0/5),LDHL肿瘤细胞表达CD30(1/1).CD30阳性率明显高于CD15(0.01＜P＜0.025).结论(1)NSHL中纤维组织增生形成结节,瘤细胞以陷窝细胞为主;MCHL中诊断型R-S细胞及其它变体细胞数量较多;LDHL以淋巴细胞减少为其特征.均以表达CD30为其特征.(2)在何杰金氏病鉴别判断中一定要应用免疫组化.CD30、CD45RO、Ki-67、CD20一般为一线抗体.     

Globalization and the freedom of knowledge

This article considers the transmission of knowledge in higher education. It takes the metaphor of the music industry that pre‐selects the music people can buy. The sales potential is the leading principle in the selection process. Often the small producer is excluded because his or her music is not of commercial interest. The end‐customer does not know what he or she is missing because he or she has never heard the music. It is to be feared that a similar market principle will also influence the selection of knowledge and affect the capacity of higher education institutions to freely generate and transmit new knowledge. The globalization of higher education risks homogenizing the cultural traditions of the non‐Western world through a process of Western cultural domination. On the other hand, the Internet, via open source software like LINUX, might serve to democratize higher education and allow greater grassroots input.

非言语手段在跨化交际中起着重要的交际功能。化的差异要求进行非言语手段的选择，而且东西方不同化背景下非言语手段有不同的含义、交际功能及交际效果。     

The cooking teacher: investigating gender stereotypes in a Korean kindergarten

This article discusses some findings from a small‐scale investigation of children's gendered beliefs and behaviours in a Korean kindergarten which was attempting to challenge gender stereotyping through the anti‐bias intervention of a ‘cooking curriculum’. A sample of 14 children, some with ‘working’ mothers and some with ‘housewife’ mothers, was observed for two months, and informally interviewed on several occasions. The children's mothers were also interviewed. The findings are situated in the context of the changing, but still traditional, culture of Korean society, as well as in the contexts of early childhood education and theories of gender acquisition. They confirm that, although children are highly likely to reproduce the beliefs current in their home environment, they are open to reconstructing these views when actively challenged to consider alternatives, either by the school curriculum or by engaging in debate with a researcher or practitioner. The nature of the ‘alternative’ views available may however be problematic.     

帷幕截流防治水工程研究

奥陶系灰岩水通过导水裂隙涌入矿井,造成安全隐患。采用帷幕截流进行防治水主要针对导水断层的赋存和特征,以及导水优势面进行注浆,阻断水的流通,是帷幕截流防治水的关键;通过断层性质、导水断层的优势面以及导水因素分析,提出了帷幕截留控制主要涌水通道的方法,成功解决了岩层水的涌入。     

Closing the Gap: Fostering Successful Research‐Practice Partnerships in Counselor Education

Research‐practice partnerships offer counselor educators an opportunity to generate scholarship that can promote client welfare and create systemic change in practice and policy. The purpose of this article is to articulate strategies for building and sustaining research‐practice partnerships, as well as suggest methods for evaluating these partnerships.     

Consistently inconsistent: An examination of the variability in the identification of emotional disturbance

The federal definition of emotional disturbance (ED) has been heavily criticized as vaguely defined and poorly operationalized yet there has not been a formal analysis of the reliability of the ED criteria. This study examined the reliability of the federal criteria for a special education designation of ED. A total of 179 school psychologists reviewed a mock special education report, made an eligibility determination, and provided information about their eligibility decision. In all, 56 participants found the student met ED eligibility criteria using 16 different combinations of the five criteria. Krippendorff’s α, a statistic preferred for content analysis, was calculated as a measure of criterion reliability. Results indicated extremely poor reliability (α = 0.2011). These findings demonstrate the importance of redefining the existing criteria.
