“咣!”一声沉重锣响,杭州元宝街胡雪岩故居的两扇铜环丁当的黑漆大门徐徐开启。随着主题歌音乐,响起了深沉的男中音旁白:“这是中国近代集官商、买办于一身的‘红顶商人’胡雪岩的真实故事。让我们走进他百年故居的大门,去看一看这位传奇人物从发迹、鼎盛、直到衰败的惊心动魄的一生……”走进大门,迎面是清朝同治皇帝题写的镏金匾额:“勉善成荣”,还有“承天恩赐”、“经商有道”、“乐善好施”、“奉扬仁风”等匾额快速地一一掠过……然后占满整个画面的是:一件醒目的黄马褂和一顶光彩耀眼的红顶花翎。背后,是一帧胡雪岩的大幅彩绘画像。…     

Impact of end-user search training on pharmacy students: a four-year follow-up study.

The Alfred Taubman Medical Library at the University of Michigan has offered instruction in online literature searching to third-year pharmacy students as a component of the course "Drug Information and Scientific Literature Evaluation" since 1983. In the spring of 1989, a follow-up study was conducted to assess the impact of instruction on four classes of graduates. Of a pool of 151 graduates, 90 (60%) responded to a mailed questionnaire on their use of information and computerized literature searching. The respondents were divided into four subgroups: end-user searchers, users of intermediaries, end users who used intermediaries, and those who did not use computerized literature search systems. Seventy-two percent of the respondents used some type of computerized literature searching, and 42% performed their own searches. The four subgroups differed in general computer use, familiarity with MEDLINE search terminology, information use, reasons for using or not using literature searching, and characteristics of searches (i.e., type, time frame, amount, and frequency). Training in end-user search systems appears to have had an impact on the continued use of computerized literature searching several years after the formal educational program.

在“双一流”建设背景下,探索科技期刊如何提升服务能级,挖掘期刊在人才培养中的孵化功能,助力加速高校学科建设具有重要的意义。本文在梳理《应用科学学报》发展历程的基础上,分析高校主办科技期刊自身优势与高校科研团队需求之间的关系,探讨双方合作共建的可能性与实践途径,提出服务高校人才培养的方案。高校科技期刊能够为高校科研成果从研发到产出过程提供重要的学术质量保障,在高校青年教师人才建设与科研水平的提升中充当着重要的角色;高校科技期刊所在的基层党组织在宣传思想工作和意识形态把关等方面都发挥了战斗堡垒的作用。     

对新中国成立初期部属高师院校青年教师培养模式的考察

新中国成立初期我国高等院校为了缓解师资短缺的情况,对青年教师的培养工作极为重视,采取了多元化的培养模式。通过对几所部属师范大学青年教师的培养工作的考察,总结了其对青年教师培养的几种模式,如：设置青年教师助教制度,让青年教师担任学生辅导教师;注重专家引领,为青年教师指定资深教师指导;注重青年教师在教学实践中的试教;开设专门的青年教师训练班等。这些措施在当时扩充了我国高等师范院校师资队伍,对当前的青年教师培养工作也具有很好的启示价值。     

镀膜双镜头多光谱相机的波段配准方法

针对镀膜双镜头多光谱相机波段多、数据量大、配准流程复杂的问题,提出一种基于改进SURF算法的快速配准方法。该方法首先完成对各波段图像的预处理,采用数字畸变模型采样法对各波段影像畸变进行校正;然后对畸变改正后的各波段图像利用快速版的SURF算法(F-SURF)进行配准。F-SURF算法从3个方面对原SURF算法进行改进,包括:依照匹配贡献度优化算法组数设置、舍弃算法旋转不变性以及引入渐进采样一致法进行特征点匹配等。通过地面及飞行实验数据进行算法验证,结果表明改进算法的配准精度优于经典SURF算法,且时间效率显著提升。     

Physician information seeking: improving relevance through research

Health sciences libraries have considerable potential as resources for both formal continuing professional education, as well as the informal continuing education that results from the professional's efforts to solve problems in daily practice. While there is a growing interest in making the resources of health sciences libraries more accessible to practitioners on a routine, day-to-day basis, there also needs to be more awareness of how, when, where, and why professionals look for information in the context of practical problems. This paper reviews recent research that identifies the context in which physicians seek information and advice from external sources, the information sources that physicians access, and the factors that influence which particular sources are sought. The results indicate that physicians vary in their information needs, preferences, motivations, and strategies for seeking information. This diversity suggests that health sciences libraries, in their efforts to be more accessible, should consider "market research" to determine the needs, preferences, and use patterns of the library's targeted users. Libraries may also benefit from exploring alternative methods of improving access to their resources.     

Preparation for ethical decision-making: An analysis of research in professional education

The current societal and professional context presents a variety of ethical challenges to decision makers. The importance of educational preparation for ethical decision-making and ethical leadership has been addressed in the literature of library and information science (LIS), among other professions. However, it can be quite difficult to measure the impact of professional ethics education on students. This article is based on an evaluation of published original research related to ethics education in disciplines supported by professional education, including education, nursing, allied health, journalism, social work, public health, engineering, and LIS. The study considers data related to research design, methodologies used, populations studied, approaches to measuring impact, levels of impact, and publication in the journal literature. Results indicate more extensive research in education and nursing as compared with other fields, a lack of baseline data gathering for comparison, a reliance on a limited number of data-gathering techniques, and a tendency toward studying alumni over current students
