传统农民阶级的多元分层是20年农村改革所引发的社会变迁的重要内容之一。地处边 疆民族地区的云南农村,其经济社会发展和农民阶层结构的变化具有自己的特点。在次级政治体系—— 乡村政治社会中,农民的阶层分化是制约乡村政治发展的重要变量。乡村政治发展的前景在于认真分析 各阶层的政治心理和政治参与,并通过乡村基层组织,实现各阶层的政治整合。     

The notion of presence in virtual learning environments: what makes the environment "real"

To know where they are in the environment, humans rely on their senses for information. If the environment is artificially generated then it raises the question as to what information is needed to allow humans to know their location in the environment and have a more tacit feeling of presence within it. This paper looks at the role of Virtual Environments as conceptual learning tools in Science and the notion of "Presence" within these types of environments. Presence in this context is based on the stream of sensory input, organized by our perceiving systems, and out of which emerges our sense of being in and of the world. This feeling is also engendered by our ability to affect the world through touch, gesture, voice etc. These are very private actions and to research this we conducted interviews with competent computer users about their feelings of "presence" when using virtual environments. One of the main findings has been that audio feedback is perceived to be one of the most important features that engender a sense of presence. We have also found that ease of navigation around the environment affects perceptions of presence and this is reflected to some extent with users' personal experience.     

Publishing School Examination Results in England: Incentives and consequences

Since 1992, the quality daily national press in England has published the examination results of secondary schools. In this paper, we discuss the policy context, the results that are published, how they are used by parents making preferences for secondary schools and the consequences of their publication. Overall, the publication of examination results has created a range of incentives for those in the education market place. These incentives serve to strengthen the position of certain categories of pupils on the one hand and certain types of schools on the other. The findings are discussed in the context of the Labour Government's focus on those at risk of social exclusion. Modified and additional indicators are proposed to mitigate the effects of the newly created quasi-market in education. 'League tables' are here to stay, for once information is in the public domain it cannot easily be suppressed.

Unobtrusive measures

This ninth article in the Performance Technologist's Toolbox series explores the data collection method of unobtrusive measures, which offer a diverse set of tools to reduce measurement reactivity. Their application in performance technology is outlined, the advantages and disadvantages of employing unobtrusive measures are summarized, and several basic guidelines are provided for their use.     

ARCS动机设计模型在中学语文课堂教学中的效度分析

本研究旨在探讨ARCS动机设计模型在我国课堂教学中的适用性和有效性。采用定量研究与定性研究相结合、前后测现场教学实验的方法,在不中断正常教学秩序的前提下,进行了语课ARCS动机设计模型的教学干预,为期四个月。教学实验班分别为初一年级两个班和高一年级一个班。结果表明,ARCS动机设计模型能被中学语教师有效采纳;在中学语教学中,ARCS动机设计模型的有效性具有一定的年级差异：它能提高初中生的学习动机、学习的努力程度,提高学生的学习成绩,改善差生的学习状况;在高中语教学中,它的有效性不明显。
