杂种优势是指两个遗传组成不同的亲本杂交产生的杂种子一代，在生长发育、繁殖力、抗逆性和产量等诸方面均优于双亲的现象。杂种优势是生物界的一种普遍现象，既可见于种间杂种(马与驴的杂种一代——骡，与其双亲相比，其耐力性强，性温驯，适于役用)，又可见于品种间的杂种(猪的品种间杂种一代往往比双亲个体大，生活力强)。玉米的杂种一代可增产20％～30％；     

How to Overcome the One-Track Mind: Teaching for Creativity and Wisdom

In this response to Sternberg’s (2017) feature article in this special issue, we identify and define a kind of closed-minded, dogmatic, self-serving thinking that is nowadays quite prevalent around the world but counterproductive in solving many social problems. We argue that overcoming such a mindset takes wisdom and creativity. We present some preliminary findings of our research showing that, by encouraging creative problem solving with real-life dilemmas, educators can effectively cultivate the wisdom and creativity of children even in preschool years and help overcome such a mindset, an obstacle to the kind of citizenry and ethical leadership Sternberg advocates.

Mobile Chinese students navigating between fields: (Trans)forming habitus in transnational articulation programmes?

Abstract

Transnational articulation programmes are one way China is attempting to advance its higher education (HE) system. We report a study of twelve Chinese students’ experiences in two China-Australia 2?+?2 articulation programmes. In our analysis of semi-structured interviews, we use Bourdieu’s concepts of field and habitus to understand the impact on the habitus of the students. We report the experiences of the Chinese students in the HE sub-field in Australia. Students were like fish in water with the logics of practice of Chinese HE. In the new sub-field of HE in Australia, their habitus was out of place. This field/habitus mismatch created a field-habitus dissonance that can be productive of change to the habitus. Some in the study strategised to overcome this field-habitus mismatch and to adjust to the logics of the new field. We designate this emergent habitus as an in-between, diasporic cosmopolitan habitus, while others were able to ‘compartmentalise’ the demands of the new field, indicating durability of habitus.

热休克蛋白90α在人胃癌中表达的研究

目的 :研究热休克蛋白 90α(HSP90α)在人胃癌组织中的表达。方法 :应用兔抗人HSP90α多克隆抗体对 6 6例手术及胃镜活检胃癌及非胃癌粘膜病变石蜡标本 ,用免疫组织化学SP试剂检测HSP90α的表达。结果 :HSP90α在胃癌、浅表性胃炎、萎缩性胃炎、萎缩性胃炎伴肠上皮化生和不典型增生组织中的阳性率分别为 88%、36 %、5 0 %、75 %。HSP90α在胃癌、萎缩性胃炎伴肠上皮化生和不典型增生中的阳性率明显高于单纯性胃炎病变。在胃癌中的表达率高于萎缩性胃炎伴肠上皮化生和不典型增生 (P <0 .0 1)。结论 :HSP90α在人胃癌及癌前病变中表达值明显增高 ,此现象可能和胃癌的产生和发展有密切关系
