Label-free microfluidic characterization of temperature-dependent biomolecular interactions

We present a microfluidic approach to characterizing temperature-dependent biomolecular interactions. Solvated L-arginine vasopressin (AVP) and its immobilized RNA aptamer (spiegelmer) were allowed to achieve equilibrium binding in a microchip at a series of selected temperatures. Unbound AVP were collected and analyzed with matrix-assisted laser desorption∕ionization mass spectrometry (MALDI-MS), yielding melting curves that reveal highly temperature-dependent zones in which affinity binding (36–45 °C) or dissociation (25–33 °C and 50–65 °C) occurs. Additionally, temperature-dependent binding isotherms were constructed; from these, thermodynamic quantities involved in binding were extracted. The results illustrated a strong change in heat capacity of interaction for this system, suggesting a considerable thermodynamic influence controlling vasopressin-spiegelmer interaction.     

Stem cells in microfluidics

Microfluidic techniques have been recently developed for cell-based assays. In microfluidic systems, the objective is for these microenvironments to mimic in vivo surroundings. With advantageous characteristics such as optical transparency and the capability for automating protocols, different types of cells can be cultured, screened, and monitored in real time to systematically investigate their morphology and functions under well-controlled microenvironments in response to various stimuli. Recently, the study of stem cells using microfluidic platforms has attracted considerable interest. Even though stem cells have been studied extensively using bench-top systems, an understanding of their behavior in in vivo-like microenvironments which stimulate cell proliferation and differentiation is still lacking. In this paper, recent cell studies using microfluidic systems are first introduced. The various miniature systems for cell culture, sorting and isolation, and stimulation are then systematically reviewed. The main focus of this review is on papers published in recent years studying stem cells by using microfluidic technology. This review aims to provide experts in microfluidics an overview of various microfluidic systems for stem cell research.     

奥林匹克主义的历史哲学审视——兼评迪卡娅·凯泽斯塔提乌的“当代奥林匹克主义意识形态的本质变迁”

迪卡娅·凯泽斯塔提乌把奥林匹克主义看作一种被顾拜旦、卡尔.蒂姆、奥林匹克学院等"代理人"不断阐释与建构的元叙事哲学。在评述其博士论文并对奥林匹克主义进行历史哲学审视的基础上认为,立足批判现实主义的立场,以现代性、文化帝国主义、全球化理论为视角,运用质性研究范式,方可深刻阐释倡导普世伦理的奥林匹克主义与地缘政治、社会文化、经济博弈中的哲学议题。并指出多元文化主义是奥林匹克主义未来走向的必由之路。     

“7.26”德清冰雹大风强对流天气过程分析

利用Micaps资料、多普勒雷达资料及德清国家观测站(58454)的实时观测数据等,对2018年7月26日发生在德清县的一次暴雨、冰雹、大风等强对流天气过程的环流形势背景场、中尺度特征、物理量场等气象资料进行分析,结果表明:此次突发性强对流天气主要受蒙古冷涡渗透的冷空气与稳定维持的副热带高压环流的共同作用,强烈的边界层辐合线是触发机制;冰雹发生前后各项热力和动力指标发生明显变化,典型的上干下湿的大气结构有利于产生降雹;孤立的对流单体合并处产生冰雹,强中心可达71 dBZ,中气旋和VIL极大值区域对应冰雹落区.此次强对流天气的分析,为今后提高强对流天气的预报预警时效和准确率提供参考.

腐殖酸对富勒烯C60的悬浮作用

研究目的：腐殖酸（HA）对富勒烯（C60）粉末的悬浮作用以及pH、离子强度对HA-C60悬浮性能的影响。创新要点：研究水质条件对C60悬浮性能的影响。研究方法：测定C60粉末在HA溶液中的zeta电位,水力学粒径和悬浮浓度;HA存在下,C60悬浮体系的zeta电位与水力学粒径随pH的变化及C60悬浮体系团聚动力学随离子强度的变化。重要结论：HA对C60粉末起到一定的分散作用,但不能使其长时间稳定悬浮于水中。当pH〈4时,C60水悬液开始沉淀;而当HA存在时,C60水悬液在pH 3-11范围内都保持稳定,这是由于HA吸附于C60表面,通过静电排斥和空间位阻作用,促进C60分散悬浮。C60水悬液的稳定性随盐离子价位和浓度升高而降低。HA会抑制Na＋对C60水悬液的脱稳作用;但高价离子Ca2＋和La3＋存在时,HA与C60之间会发生桥联从而促进C60水悬液脱稳沉淀。     

黔北夜郎考古的新发现——綦江鳛文化考古调查记

为定位綦江的夜郎系鳛文化和南平僚文化,考察了重庆綦江区,该地区与黔北关系密切,是夜郎系鳛文化和夜郎系巴文化的交汇地区,其中的南平僚文化实质上就是夜郎民族文化的生动体现。但两地夜郎文化存在明显相似性的同时,又有明显的差异性。夜郎宗教的主神是天母大神。诸葛亮曾经画龙生夷图,其母本就是5000年前的綦江郭扶镇双河塘鳛龙交合图。綦江夜郎文化最突出的特点是明显的生殖崇拜,鳛龙交合图与牂牁柱是綦江生殖崇拜的根源。"天母大神"画像和"天母大神坛"为中国黄河流域和长江流域首次发现的乳房神及其祭祀遗址,意义重大:长江上游可能为中华文明的发源地之一。     

福建省高等学校高层次人才队伍现状分析

从2000 年到2010 年,福建省普通高校高层次人才队伍建设取得了显著的成就,主要表现为：数量得到了大幅度增加;结构得到了有效的改善;质量得到了明显提升.但同时也存在严重的不均衡现象,与经济社会发展要求脱节,且在全国和周边地区缺乏比较优势,竞争力严重不足.     

Experimental study on dispersion coefficient of dredger fill in reclamation region

In order to satisfy the demand of land use, reclamation engineering has been undertaken in coastal cities for a long time. To study the contaminant transport in the reclamation districts, robust and accurate estimation of dispersion coefficient is essential. In this study, the continuous sodium chloride （NaC1） solution with constant concentration was introduced into the column filled with the dredger fill to get the breakthrough curves （BTCs）. Inverse error function method （IEFM） and CXTFIT program were used for estimating dispersion coefficient. Results showed that the difference between the dispersion coefficients estimated by IEFM and CXTFIT program was slight. The main reason was that the BTC was not strictly linear. IEFM performed poorly in the nonlinear area, while the CXTFIT performed well over the entire BTCs. Moreover, the dispersion coefficient of dredger fill was small. The dispersion property of dredger fill would result in the slow migration of contaminants in the dredger fill.     

信息传播媒体对农村小学生学习成绩的影响——以电视、电脑和手机为例

利用大规模随机抽样调查数据,分析了农村小学生看电视、用电脑和手机等信息传播媒体对他们学习成绩的影响,发现周间和周末使用这些传播媒体对学习成绩影响不同。看电视可以满足他们的娱乐和信息需求,周末适量地收看电视节目与他们的学习成绩之间呈现正相关关系;由于电脑和手机在农村小学生手中只充当游戏机的功能,使用这些媒体的时间与他们的学习成绩之间存在负相关关系,并且使用这些媒体的时间和对学习成绩的影响在男女生之间存在显著差异。
