对我国现阶段普通高校排球运动发展的现状进行了分析，认为经济与市场、管理与体制、提高与普及等因素是影响我国现阶段普通高校排球运动发展的主要因素。     

A History of Infant Feeding

The historical evolution of infant feeding includes wet nursing, the feeding bottle, and formula use. Before the invention of bottles and formula, wet nursing was the safest and most common alternative to the natural mother''s breastmilk. Society''s negative view of wet nursing, combined with improvements of the feeding bottle, the availability of animal''s milk, and advances in formula development, gradually led to the substitution of artificial feeding for wet nursing. In addition, the advertising and safety of formula products increased their popularity and use among society. Currently, infant formula-feeding is widely practiced in the United States and appears to contribute to the development of several common childhood illnesses, including atopy, diabetes mellitus, and childhood obesity.     

Industrial Engineering Education: A Prospective

This paper presents an overview of the origin of the industrial engineering discipline and the subjects taught in the early stages of its development. It describes in detail the current changes in the curricula to meet new requirements of the ever-changing industry demands due to the intense competition for the development of new products at the highest possible quality and the least cost. The changes have been reflected in many industrial engineering programmes. Indeed, in some cases the changes have also been reflected by a title change of the programme. The role of the accreditation committees and the Institute of Industrial Engineers, now celebrating its 50th anniversary, and its publications in shaping undergraduate education is also discussed.     

Access to Higher Education for Disabled People: A Systematic Approach at Chelyabinsk State University in Russia

The results achieved by Chelyabinsk State University in terms of providing access to higher education for disabled people are analysed. The experience obtained through joint work with European Union partners and applied to the conditions of a Russian university is underlined.
