Confronting Challenges to the Liberal Arts Curriculum: Perspectives of Developing and Transitional Countries

Contemporary international higher education scholarship tends to focus on the global financial crisis,on massification,privatization,cross-border education,university ranking,and student mobility.However,few studies deal with the development of liberal arts programs around the world and they are often related to Western systems of higher education or that of the US,where liberal arts education has long been seen as a fundamental issue.Comparative studies,however,could help scholars to become aware of critical trends and reforms,also the impact they might have on a global society.     

VALIDATION OF THE SOCIAL AND EMOTIONAL HEALTH SURVEY FOR FIVE SOCIOCULTURAL GROUPS: MULTIGROUP INVARIANCE AND LATENT MEAN ANALYSES

Social‐emotional health influences youth developmental trajectories and there is growing interest among educators to measure the social‐emotional health of the students they serve. This study replicated the psychometric characteristics of the Social Emotional Health Survey (SEHS) with a diverse sample of high school students (Grades 9–12; N = 14,171), and determined whether the factor structure was invariant across sociocultural and gender groups. A confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) tested the fit of the previously known factor structure, and then structural equation modeling was used to test invariance across sociocultural and gender groups through multigroup CFAs. Results supported the SEHS measurement model, with full invariance of the SEHS higher‐order structure for all five sociocultural groups. There were no moderate effect size or higher group differences on the overall index for sociocultural or gender groups, which lends support to the eventual development of common norms and universal interpretation guidelines.     

煤矿瓦斯抽放泵站单片机监测系统

本文采用单片机技术设计了一套经济实用的监测系统,用于煤矿瓦斯抽放泵站参数的连续监测。利用单片机多机通讯的功能,通过 RDS—1型远程数据收发器将泵站的参数传到调度端进行显示、打印和处理。并对泵站的生产进行必要的管理,为改变目前我国煤矿瓦斯抽放泵站采用人工定时检测的现状。     

“尚有北宋典型”：陆游对欧阳修散文的继承与发展——以游记和题跋为中心

陆游继承了唐宋古文运动的创作传统,对欧阳修尤为推崇。他对文章风格自然平易的主张,对文道关系的理解,都表明他在文学思想上认同和接受欧阳修的观点。他的散文学习欧阳修,《入蜀记》《天彭牡丹谱》师法欧阳修,与同时的大家相比,《入蜀记》较之范成大《吴船录》体制更为完善,内容更为丰富。题跋文继承发展了欧跋的学术考辨精神与语短情深的文体特征。较之同样学习欧阳修的周必大,陆游对欧跋的情韵之美有更好的发展,跋文的抒情性、文学性更强。总之,陆游是欧阳修散文的优秀继承者,是南宋散文的优秀代表。     

少儿趣味田径器材开发研制的研究

为了在全世界更好地发展田径运动,国际田联和德国田联一起推出了＂少儿趣味田径＂这种新的田径形式。而体育田径器材是该项目顺利开展和普及推广的必要物质保障,田径器材的开发研制对于少儿趣味田径的发展有着重要的意义。就当前国内少儿趣味田径的发展趋势、器材开发的意义及研制时应注意的问题作了分析,供广大研究人员参考。     

社区教育现代化的理念及实践转向研究

社区教育的发展经历了从早期作为学校教育的补充到如今服务于社会现代化建设的历程变化,成为教育体系不可或缺的重要组成部分。为助力实现教育现代化的目标,社区教育现代化需更加体现公平性、均衡性、优质性的价值取向。针对当前社区教育发展中存在的不公平、不均衡、不优质等问题,在理念层面,社区教育应回归于“以人为本”和“促进社会发展”,并以可持续发展为先导。在实践层面,应做好顶层设计,为实现社区教育现代化提供制度保障;建立科学的管理机制,确保社区教育现代化有章可循;大力融通资源,实现社区教育均衡发展;完善课程建设,提升社区教育质量;着力提升师资队伍能力,打造优质社区教育团队;重点关注特殊群体,提升教育对象普惠性。     

高校图书馆与大学生信息素质教育

21世纪是信息化的世纪，高校信息素质教育是大学生素质教育的重要组成部分，高校图书馆是组织实施大学生信息素质教育的最佳场所。针对目前高校素质教育及大学生信息素质现状，高校图书馆应分阶段、多层次地开设文献检索课，开展信息技术培训；建设一支专职的教学队伍；工作人员要担当信息传播者和导航者的角色以培养学生的信息素质。     

文化冲突与文化尴尬－《刮痧》与当下中国影视走向三人谈

以许大同为代表的几乎所有的在美华人，试图在所面临着的西主化的冲击下改变自己，将自己融入到它们中间，彻底改变自己的第三世界的身份。第三世界的许大同们心甘情愿地接受着第一世界化的挤压。像《刮痧》这样的电影正处于中国影视走向世界的第二步，它们不像第一阶段的影片那样，向西方所展现的那种“中国特色”或“东方化”还往往停留在物质层面，精神上的揭示也是停留在展示给西方人看的立场上。到《先刮痧》，这种简单的线形判断没有了，化批判虽然淡了，但是编导对于东西方化冲突的理解加深了，那种冲突的复杂和转化体现了各种化自身的力量。

A class of fast fixed-time synchronization control for the delayed neural network

This paper deals with the synchronization control of a class of delayed neural networks using a fast fixed-time control theory. By employing Lyapunov stability theory, a novel sufficient criterion is derived such that two neural networks can be synchronized within a fixed-time. Compared with some existing results, the proposed controller can render two neural networks faster synchronized. A numerical example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the criterion.
