The authors surveyed program directors at all bachelor of social work and master of social work programs accredited by the Council on Social Work Education using an online tool that assessed whether and how their respective social work programs are covering content related to HIV/AIDS. Of the 650 program directors, 153 (24%) participated in the survey. Programs reported coverage of HIV/AIDS content in various foundation content areas, including human behavior in the social environment, populations at risk, and social work practice. The authors also surveyed use of various pedagogical methods, and respondents reported the most use of guest speakers, lectures, and readings in delivering HIV/AIDS content. More than 70% of bachelor and master of social work programs reported having at least 1 field placement specific to HIV/AIDS. In addition, the authors evaluated social work textbooks for specific content on social work with HIV/AIDS, and recommendations are made for inclusion of more HIV/AIDS specific content. 相似文献

Camera techniques are typically used in the study of human movement. However, as the number of joints and markers involved
in a study increases, data extraction and calculation become increasingly tedious and complicated. To overcome this challenge,
we propose a method of study that simplifies data extraction and calculation by using an electrogoniometer and dual Euler
angles. The contribution of the rotation of each arm segment to produce a racket head’s speed was identified in the context
of a badminton smash. The contribution of each segment rotation was computed using dual velocity analysis. A set of orthogonal
Cartesian frames was established for computing the anatomical rotational velocities for each of the three segments of the
upper arm. Electrogoniometers were attached to the subjects during the execution of the smash to obtain measurements of joint
angles throughout the motion. To test the algorithm, the calculated velocity of the racket head was compared to the measured
velocity. The calculated velocity was derived from an algorithm, while the measured velocity was obtained from a video image.
The results are similar, indicating that the dual velocity method is suitable for determining segmental velocities in such

Relationships between teachers' biographical experiences and their beliefs and practices have become central concerns in the
area of teacher life history and teacher socialization research. Unfortunately, few teachers from cultural minority backgrounds
have been included in this research. In the present study, the life and career narratives of two Chicana teachers are examined
in order to identify the influences of biographical experiences on how they define their teacher role identity. In recognition
of and building from the narrative form of the written and interview data from which the life and career narratives are constructed,
teacher role identity is defined as a narratively constructed self-image that presents an identity-in-action in which teachers'
competence to act is demonstrated through their actions across various occupational challenges and demands. The competence
to act is the product of teachers' biographical experiences and is based on the appropriation of family values through which
