阅读过程心理分析及对英语阅读教学的启示

阅读是外语学习的一个主要途径,而阅读理解本身则是极其复杂的认知过程。本文利用现代心理语言学的研究成果,概述了阅读活动中的三种模式,分析了这三种模式对外语教学的影响,并由此提出教师应指导学生在阅读中既要以阅读材料为本,重视语言文字的解码过程,又要积极发挥学生作为读者的主观能动性,运用阅读策略,激活头脑中的相关图式,综合运用语言知识与图式知识,提高阅读能力和语言运用能力。     

Examining practicing teachers’ perceptions of technological pedagogical content knowledge (TPACK) pathways: a structural equation modeling approach

The seven constructs of the technological pedagogical content knowledge (TPACK) framework has been widely adopted as a theoretical basis for understanding the scope of teachers’ information and communication technology (ICT) expertise. Despite this, very little is understood about the inter-relationships between these constructs, especially how these relationships are related to teachers’ TPACK. As a result, the theory–practice nexus of this framework remains weak. In this study, a structural equation model based on Mishra and Koehler’s TPACK framework was developed to describe the TPACK perceptions of 455 practicing teachers in Singapore. The study shows that teachers, perceived TPACK to be formulated from the direct effects of technological knowledge and pedagogical knowledge. They also perceived these knowledge sources to contribute to the development of technological pedagogical knowledge and technological content knowledge, which also contributed to their TPACK. In these teachers’ conceptions of TPACK, however, the effects of content knowledge and pedagogical content knowledge were not evident. The implications of these relationships to the design of teacher professional development in ICT are discussed.     

Identifying Science Teachers’ Perceptions of Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge (TPACK)

The application of information and communication technology in instruction is highly emphasized in the contemporary education of science teachers. This paper hence aims to explore science teachers’ perceptions of technological pedagogical content knowledge (TPACK) addressing teachers’ perceptions of the affordances of technology application in instruction. A total of 222 pre- and in-service science teachers in Singapore were surveyed. Structural equation models analysis was utilized to examine the model of TPACK involving the seven factors of technological knowledge (TK), pedagogical knowledge (PK), content knowledge (CK), technological content knowledge (TCK), technological pedagogical knowledge (TPK), pedagogical content knowledge (PCK), as well as synthesized knowledge of technology, pedagogy, and content (TPC). The results confirm the seven-factor model and indicate that the science teachers’ perceived TPC significantly and positively correlated with all the other TPACK factors. This paper further reveals the relationships between the science teachers’ perceptions of TPACK and their demographic characteristics such as teaching experience, gender, and age. The findings indicate that female science teachers perceive higher self-confidence in pedagogical knowledge but lower self-confidence in technological knowledge than males. Further, female in-service science teachers’ perceptions of TK, TPK, TCK, and TPC significantly and negatively correlate with their age.

Writing plan quality: Relevance to writing scores

If writing matters, how can we improve it? This study investigated the nature of writing plan quality and its relationship to the ensuing writing scores. Data were drawn from the 1998 Provincial Learning Assessment Programme (PLAP) in Writing, which was administered to pupils in Grades 4, 7, and 10 across British Columbia, Canada. Common features of writing quality were qualitatively identified in a sample of writing plans across the three grade levels. An analytic scoring scheme based on (i) identified features of writing quality in writing plans, (ii) evaluative terms commonly used as criteria to measure writing performance in both large-scale and classroom assessments, and (iii) theory and research in writing, was developed and used to assess a sample of 1,797 writing plans. Correlation and regression analyses were used to determine relationships between quality of writing plans and writing scores. Evidence of features of writing quality in writing plans was associated with higher writing scores. Identification of features of writing plan quality provides valuable instructional information to promote student writing.

双呋喃甲醛Schiff碱金属铜(Ⅱ)配合物为载体的高选择性硫氰酸根离子电极

报道了二醋酸双(呋喃甲醛)缩邻苯二胺铜(Ⅱ)为载体的PVC膜电极.该电极对硫氰酸根离子(SCN-)具有高的电位选择性和灵敏度,并呈现反Hofmeister选择性行为.采用交流阻抗技术和紫外可见光谱技术初步研究了电极的响应机理,结果表明配合物中心金属原子的结构以及载体本身的结构与电极的响应行为之间有非常密切的构效关系.将制得的电极初步应用于实际废水样品分析,结果与HPLC法一致.     

高校公共计算机机房系统的制作

公共计算机机房作为高校必备的教学设施,利用率高,面向对象多,使用环境也非常复杂,对机房系统的要求不仅是能用,而且要好用、通用、耐用。系统安装前,需选择合适的操作系统,了解各类软件需求,确定系统保护方式;系统安装过程中,需合理规划分区,升级系统补丁,安装、设置软件,在重要时刻备份系统;系统优化阶段,需对系统进行优化设置,查杀病毒,整合网络资源;最后安排人员试用系统,修改完善并复制到其它计算机。一个稳定、高效的系统不仅可以减轻高校公共计算机机房管理人员的工作量,也可以使任课教师和广大学生获得良好的系统使用体验,增加学生学习的兴趣,提高学习效率。
