自建流程式实习的理论、应用及效能

现阶段,网络教学在大学中越来越普遍,尤其是疫情全国"封城"期间,网络教学成为大学教学模式的唯一选择。网络教学模式下,工程类大学生无法进驻企业进行生产实习,虚拟仿真培训又是验证性实验而效能不佳。基于生产设备的实物照片和生产过程的生产流程,结合图像处理技术,提出了工程类专业实习的纾困方案——自建流程式实习。文章研究了自建流程式实习的理论基础和内涵定义,重点探讨了自建流程式实习的应用过程,分析了自建流程式实习的效能及实习目标的达成情况。效能分析表明,自建流程式实习可以加深工程类大学生对生产设备和生产过程的感性认识,还可以提高他们的动手创作和设计优化能力,是解决网络教学模式下工程类大学生生产实习困境的可行出路。     

科研训练在化学海洋学实验中的应用和实践

实验教学在创新性人才培养中占有重要地位。本文以海水络合容量实验为例,介绍了科研训练在化学海洋学实验中的应用和实践过程。学生在掌握实验基本原理和方法的基础上,结合实际应用,拓展出几个感兴趣的科学问题进行探究性研究。在实验过程中,学生自行设计实验方案,通过实验结果及文献资料,解决科学问题。这些融入教学的科研训练,增强了学生的科研兴趣,锻炼了学生解决问题的能力,为学生以后从事科研工作打下了基础。

建立高等教育评估中介机构 ,对于确保高等学校办学自主权的实现 ,形成自我约束的高等教育质量保障体系具有重要作用。我国可借鉴美、英、法等国高等教育评估体制的长处 ,建立由政府代表和高校人员共同组成的高等教育评估理事会 ,把专业评审和院校评估、高校自我质量控制与校外评估结合起来。

自然资源是社会经济发展的物质基础，在农业经济和工业经济时代，自然资源对区域经济的发展起着重要的作用，在知识经济时代，知识已成为区域经济发展的内在核心因素，自然资源在区域经济发展中的地位逐渐下降，但仍是区域发展和产业分工的重要基础，而且不同类型区域对自然资源的需求程度不同，区域经济的持续发展仍须与自然资源的开发利用协调。     

机械原理双语教学实践初探

文中结合教学实践讨论了机械原理双语教学的模式,经过实践检验双语班对知识的掌握程度与普通班的成绩接近,说明所采取的双语教学方式是可行的,实践表明机械原理的双语教学最好采用综合型教学模式,充分利用多媒体进行教学的方法。

Using the Objective Borderline Method (OBM) to support Board of Examiners’ decisions in a medical programme

Decisions about progress through an academic programme are made by Boards of Examiners, on the basis of students’ course assessments. For most students such pass/fail grading decisions are straightforward. However, for those students whose results are borderline (either at a pass/fail boundary or boundaries between grades) the exercise of some discretion by university staff is required. In the interests of the transparency of the exercise of this discretion and to increase the chances that the ‘right’ decision is made, we tested the validity of the second version of the Objective Borderline Method (OBM2) decision-making tool in a medical programme. Our results suggest that application of OBM2 provides valid data to help university staff make robust decisions about a student’s progression through a programme, and with which to defend these decisions if that should be required.

Scaffolding speech and writing in the primary classroom: a consideration of work with literature and science pupil groups in the USA and UK

In considering scaffolding as it is enacted across two disciplines – literacy and science – the focus of this paper is specifically on issues related to teacher scaffolding of pupils' learning in these areas. Features of scaffolding in action are drawn out that reflect a concern with developing a principled approach to instruction and learning. The three notions around which the paper pivots are: scaffolding the processes of learning in classroom; the importance of this type of scaffolding for independent learning; and the idea of appropriateness as it relates to the level of scaffolding employed by the teacher. The strategies used by teachers to encourage groups of pupils to adopt and use ways of thinking appropriate to the subject context are explored, and this is linked to Mercer's (2000) conception of the Intermental Developmental Zone, which explored how the concepts of scaffolding and the Zone of Proximal Development ( Vygotsky, 1978 ) might be extended to group contexts, rather than dyadic ones. Some consideration is given to how individual pupils may conceive of the teacher's structuring of thinking as scaffold or straitjacket.
