浅析高校环境景观建设中原生态环境保护与教育设计

在高等教育日益蓬勃发展、取得一个又一个新成果的今天,高校环境景观建设中对原生态环境的保护问题也引起了诸多关注。古往今来,均衡发展以及协调可持续发展是人们所共同向往的,该文简要分析高等院校环境景观建设中与原生态环境之间存在的矛盾问题,并对于其教育意义与作用提出了一些保护和教育设计方法,期盼能对将来高校环境景观建设中原生态环境保护以及教育作用设计贡献些许力量。     

Capillary flow in sacrificially etched nanochannels

Planar nanochannels are fabricated using sacrificial etching technology with sacrificial cores consisting of aluminum, chromium, and germanium, with heights ranging from 18 to 98 nm. Transient filling via capillary action is compared against the Washburn equation [E. W. Washburn, Phys. Rev. 17, 273 (1921)], showing experimental filling speeds significantly lower than classical continuum theory predicts. Departure from theory is expressed in terms of a varying dynamic contact angle, reaching values as high as 83° in channels with heights of 18 nm. The dynamic contact angle varies significantly from the macroscopic contact angle and increases with decreasing channel dimensions.     

Systematic characterization of degas-driven flow for poly(dimethylsiloxane) microfluidic devices

Degas-driven flow is a novel phenomenon used to propel fluids in poly(dimethylsiloxane) (PDMS)-based microfluidic devices without requiring any external power. This method takes advantage of the inherently high porosity and air solubility of PDMS by removing air molecules from the bulk PDMS before initiating the flow. The dynamics of degas-driven flow are dependent on the channel and device geometries and are highly sensitive to temporal parameters. These dependencies have not been fully characterized, hindering broad use of degas-driven flow as a microfluidic pumping mechanism. Here, we characterize, for the first time, the effect of various parameters on the dynamics of degas-driven flow, including channel geometry, PDMS thickness, PDMS exposure area, vacuum degassing time, and idle time at atmospheric pressure before loading. We investigate the effect of these parameters on flow velocity as well as channel fill time for the degas-driven flow process. Using our devices, we achieved reproducible flow with a standard deviation of less than 8% for flow velocity, as well as maximum flow rates of up to 3 nL∕s and mean flow rates of approximately 1-1.5 nL∕s. Parameters such as channel surface area and PDMS chip exposure area were found to have negligible impact on degas-driven flow dynamics, whereas channel cross-sectional area, degas time, PDMS thickness, and idle time were found to have a larger impact. In addition, we develop a physical model that can predict mean flow velocities within 6% of experimental values and can be used as a tool for future design of PDMS-based microfluidic devices that utilize degas-driven flow.

浅淡对职业学校问题学生教育方式的几点看法

职业学校的学生理论知识较差,自我管理的能力差,又加上年龄上处于青春期,心理还不成熟、情绪不稳定,面对学习、与人相处等问题时,容易产生各种心理问题。本文就面对问题学生时,班主任应该采取的教育方法和措施进行反思和总结。

The structure of the American book publishing industry

This paper investigates several structural elements of the American book publishing industry in order to resolve two conflicting viewpoints advanced by publishing figures regarding intra-industry competition. The evidence presented indicates that the minimum optimal production scale (0.30 to 0.70 percent of industry's employment) is too small to obstruct entry, to preclude the existence of a large number of publishers, and to foreclose from it a high degree of competition.     

Effects of higher education on achievement for blacks and whites

This study assesses the impact of college on knowledge of vocabulary and mathematics. Unlike many previous studies, this one is able to control for precollege abilities in these academic areas, which presumably tend to select people into or out of college. The results indicate that college attendance has a strong impact on improved performance on these tests, and that these effects are similar for whites and blacks.
