The term craftsmanship is associated with pre-industrial craft work with inferences to skilled artisanal manufacture of bespoke products. Apprenticeship learning is often perceived to be synonymous with learning craftsmanship. How then is the trait of craftsmanship through attainment of specific artisanal approaches conveyed and learnt through apprenticeship? This article presents and discusses processes imposed on and utilised by apprentices to attain precepts of artisanal approaches. The dispositional and skill elements of craftsmanship are proposed to be adopted through engagement with and development of craft and workplace specific approaches to contend with aspects of Pye’s (1968) conceptualisation of ‘workmanship of risk’ or the article’s proposed term of ‘artisanal approach of risk’.  相似文献

随着互联网+教育的深入发展,混合学习已成为教育改革发展的大势所趋。深入理解混合学习模式的课堂教学结构与教学序列,可为教学工作者在重塑教学结构、再造教学流程、改进教学模式等方面提供参考借鉴。首先对混合学习进行概述,并对课堂观察发展历程与研究现状进行梳理;对教学结构序列框架进行概括总结,提出观察指标体系;利用 Nvivo 软件对混合学习最典型的教学模式——翻转课堂的课例进行多维度观察与定性分析,并对混合学习教学序列进行验证。结果表明,翻转课堂是“H→L”型序列,即为教师主导、学生主体型教学结构,是高结构化与低结构化教学的融合,也是对传统课程教学序列的变革,为“教”与“学”的方式赋予了新内涵。  相似文献

Blended learning, which combines face-to-face lectures with online learning, has emerged as a suitable teaching approach during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study used a national survey of anatomy educators in Mainland China to evaluate the changes in the implementation of blended learning in anatomical pedagogy. A total of 297 responses were collected from medical schools across all provinces. Respondents included 167 males and 130 females, with an average age of 44.94 (±8.28) and average of 17.72 (±9.62) years of professional experience. The survey showed adoption of online teaching and assessment by Chinese anatomy educators increased by 32.7% and 46.8%, respectively, compared to pre-pandemic levels. Perceptions of blended learning outcomes varied, with 32.3% and 37% educators considering it superior and inferior to traditional teaching, respectively. Faculty training programs related to blended learning increased significantly, fostering a collaborative learning environment; however, challenges remained in achieving satisfactory online assessment outcomes. Anatomy educators' attitudes reflected a strong preference for classroom learning (4.941 ± 0.856) and recognition of the importance of relevant technology (4.483 ± 0.954), whereas online learning received lower acceptance (4.078 ± 0.734). Female anatomy teachers demonstrated effective time management in online teaching. Meanwhile, educators with over 15 years of experience encountered difficulties with relevant technology, consistent with negative attitudes toward blended learning. Overall, this survey highlights the persistent challenges in implementing blended learning in anatomy education and provides insights for enhancing the pedagogical model in the post-COVID-19 era.  相似文献

Simplicity in number naming in a language (e.g. ‘ten‐two’ in Chinese is simpler than the irregular ‘twelve’ in English) has been used to explain cross‐cultural disparities in children's computational competence. In contrast to previous research focusing only on whether children can provide the correct answers, in this study (N?=?117 and 92) we examined Chinese pre‐schoolers' computational strategies in depth and individually so as to examine their understanding of the base‐10 system and place value. The results showed that despite the fact that many can give the correct answers, there is strong evidence that Chinese pre‐schoolers do not have adequate understanding of the base‐10 number system and place value, suggesting that the advantages of the simpler number‐naming system are limited.  相似文献

民国初期,以"团结武林同道,提高中华武术,振奋民族精神"为宗旨的中华武士会在天津成立并组织开展活动。文章通过对其特点、功能价值及终止活动的原因分析,发现中华武士会促进了武术研究工作的开展,推动了武术的城市化和国际化发展,也促进了武术传播方式的新发展,但因缺少政府支持、缺少经济实体力量支持及受到中央国术馆等武术组织的影响使其终止了活动。文章通过对中华武士会的研究为当代新环境下武术组织的发展提供思考与借鉴。  相似文献

该研究以现有自我修正理论为基础建立分析框架,搜集大学生在任务型教学中不同任务结构条件下英语口语产出,来调查任务结构对中国大学生口语产出自我修正的影响。30名英语中下等水平的学生随机从浙江省某一高校抽取,根据图片分别实施两组陈述性任务(一组结构紧凑,一组结构松散),然后将他们的录音转写下来对其自我修正行为分类。研究结果表明,任务结构对大学生英语口语自我修正有显著影响,在结构松散任务中,受试者实施更多的不同修正跟恰当修正,而在结构紧凑任务中实施更多错误修正。这反映了任务结构对说话者造成的认知负担影响其话语监测机制。该研究对英语教学与研究有一定的指导意义。  相似文献

ABSTRACT

This paper concludes the Special Issue (SI) ‘Probing the Amalgam: the relationship between science teachers’ content, pedagogical and pedagogical content knowledge’. We review the five papers (Sorge et al; Gess-Newsome et al; Kind; Pitjeng-Mosabala and Rollnick; and Liepertz and Bronowski) by discussing evidence these present regarding the relationships between content knowledge (CK), pedagogical knowledge (PK) and pedagogical content knowledge (PCK); the development of CK, PK and PCK in novice and experienced secondary science teachers and how CK, PK and/or PCK impact students’ learning. In conclusion, we draw these findings together in offering proposals for future research via reconsideration of Shulman’s amalgam. This includes post-hoc examination of a PCK model known as ‘the Consensus Model’ (Gess-Newsome, [2015].
