Assessment,Grade Level and Learning

Researchers have identified assessment as a very crucial influence on the learning strategies adopted by students. The present study carried out on Secondary 2, Secondary 4, and Junior College 2/Pre-University 3 students shows that the Singapore students did not favour the Surface Approach in their learning of English and Mathematics. The nature of the discipline and the cognitive demands of the examinations carried considerable importance for students in their choice of learning strategies. Despite the heavy emphasis on excelling in examinations, students did not rely solely on surface and achieving strategies to attain their goals.     

Chinese and Canadian Children's Evaluations of Lying and Truth Telling: Similarities and Dfferences in the Context of pro-and Antisocial Behaviors

The present study compared Chinese and Canadian children's moral evaluations of lie and truth telling in situations involving pro- and antisocial behaviors. Seven-, 9-, and 11-year-old Chinese and canadian children were presented 4 brief stories. Two stories involved a child who intentionally carried out a good deed, and the other2 stories involved a child who intentionally carried out a bad deed. When story characters were questioned by a teacher as to who had committed the deed, they either lied or told the truth. Children were asked to evaluate the story characters' deeds and their verbal statements. Overall, Chinese children rated truth telling less positively and lie telling more positively in prosocial settings than Canadian children, indicating that the emphasis on self-effacement and modesty in Chinese culture overrides Chinese children's evaluations of lying in some situations. Both Chinese and canadian children rated trugh telling positively and lie telling negatively in antisocial situations, reflecting the emphasis in both cultures on the distinction between misdeed and truth/lie telling. The findings of the present study suggest that, in the realm of lying and truth telling, a close relation between sociocultural practices and moral judgment exists. Specific social and cultural norms have an impact on children's developing moral judgments, which in turn, are modified by age and experience in a particular culture.     

草苁蓉花序多糖BJⅡa的分离提纯与结构研究

利用溶剂提取与DEAE—Sephadex A—25柱层析进行分离,根据高碘酸氧化、Smith降解,部分酸水解、甲基化及其产物的G.C.和G.C.—M.S.联机分析鉴定其结构.得出BJⅡa是多分枝结构的中性杂多糖,其主链是由1→2连接的葡萄糖和岩藻糖构成。     

无机多组份体系同时测定分光光度法

自1951年B、chance研制成第一台双波长分光光度计以来,无机多组份体系分光光度测定方法,取得了显著的进展,发展了双波长分光光度法,三波长分光光度法,双显色双波长分光光度法,导数分光光度法,组合导数分光光度法,本文试就借助于仪器的输出信息,消除重叠光谱带的干扰,同时测定无机多组份体系的分光光度方法,作一简要的评述。     

城市社区体育组织结构"小型化"探索

为适应城市居民生活“小区”化和以建设“明小区”为重点的社会工作路线，改变目前社区体育组织以“街道”为单一层次的基本结构，本课题采用献法、调查法、比较及逻辑法等，对“小型化”社区体育组织的现状、目标及发展模式进行了深入研究，并提出了辐射型、网络型、独立型三种递进式组织结构模式，为社区体育组织结构的转型发展提供参考依据。     

论党在早期工人运动中解决帮会问题的策略

中国共产党成立以后就着手开展工人运动 ,首先遇到的障碍是帮会。由于在工厂、码头、矿山、货栈等有劳苦工人的地方 ,几乎都有帮会的活动 ,又由于帮会在思想上禁锢着工人群众的觉悟 ,在组织上限制着工人群众的自由 ,阻碍工人运动的发展。为此 ,我党制定了一系列妥善处理帮会的策略 ,排除了帮会对工人运动的干扰 ,有力地推动了中国革命。     

孔李煤矿信息系统传输质量的改善

孔李煤矿由于历史原因,信息网络传输系统存在着诸多不足,已不能满足信息技术发展和矿区信息化建设的需要;从适应矿区信息化建设发展及未来信息技术发展要求出发,从通信、计算机网络、视频会议、监控四个方面,分析了孔李信息系统网络传输现状及存在的问题,针对问题运用先进的通信传输设备和技术,通过分步实施、优化配置,使信息网络系统传输质量得到明显改善,取得显著成效。     

实事求是--审计哲学的灵魂

审计属于社会活动的范畴,与其他社会活动一样遵循着同样的社会规律。但是,日常的微观审计往往忽视审计哲学的研究与作用。审计同样需要哲学,审计哲学就是实事求是。实事求是原则不仅是实现三个代表的重要体现,而且是审计监督的内在要求,是审计实践经验的总结和理论概括,是审计的指导思想和方法论。     

Tandem Biocatalysis by CotA-TJ102@UIO-66-NH2 and Novozym 435 for Highly Selective Transformation of HMF into FDCA

2,5-Furandicarboxylic acid(FDCA) is a potential biorenewable chemical for applications including plastics, polyamides, drugs, etc. The selective biosynthesis of FDCA from 5-hydroxymethylfurfural(HMF) by a specific enzyme poses a great challenge. In this study, we reported an efficient strategy to produce FDCA from HMF by the tandem biocatalysis of laccase(Cot A-TJ102@UIO-66-NH_2) and Novozym 435. For the first step, a nanoparticle metal–organic framework was synthesized as a carrier to immobilize Cot A-TJ102@UIO-66-NH_2, which was assigned for the production of 5-formyl-2-furancarboxylic acid(FFCA) and featured an enzyme loading of 255.54 mg/g, specific activity of 135.90 U/mg, and solid loading ratio of 99.65%. Under optimal conditions, an ideal FFCA yield of 98.5% was achieved, and the Cot A-TJ102@UIO-66-NH_2 presented a high recycling capacity after 10 cycles. For the second step, Novozym 435 was applied for the further conversion of FFCA into FDCA, presenting a high FDCA yield of 95.5% under the optimized conditions. Novozym 435 also exhibited a high recyclability after eight cycles. As a result, the tandem biocatalysis strategy provided a 94.2% FDCA yield from HMF, indicating its excellence as a method for FDCA production.
