“You Can Do It Baby”: Non-Task Talk with an In-Car Speech Enabled System

Natural language speech enabled systems are an attractive option for in-car infotainment. Differences in cultural expectations in communication, however, can pose difficulties for interface developers and cause frustration for users. We adopt the perspective of cultural discourse theory to analyze 26 drivers interacting with an in-car speech interface. We focus here on directive sequences and the phenomenon of participants using non-task talk. The analysis of these sequences reveals a norm that one ought to engage in non-task talk with the system. We suggest that this norm is grounded in a user premise that the system’s interactional status involves the ability to speak. We find that this norm lacks crystallization among participants, and we formulate a competing norm that helps to account for this. The second norm reveals an underlying belief that the system’s status as a machine is the basis for how it should be treated.

We discuss concerns and tensions that arise when balancing commitments of naturalistic study with design development goals. 以四川省为例,运用各类人口普查和统计年鉴数据对人口老龄化进行研究,探讨了四川省人口老龄化的基本现状:老年人口数量大、比重高、增长快,人口老龄化区域、城乡发展不平衡,老龄政策体系不完善、效力低下、制度滞后;分析了相应的影响:人口老龄化影响社会生产的快速增长、分配的均衡性与消费市场结构;进而提出了应对的主要措施:适当调整生育政策,缓解人口老龄化压力;探索弹性退休制度,建立梯度养老保险制度;家庭、社会养老联手共进,建立多层次、多维度的养老保障体系;倡导积极老龄化,开发老年消费市场.     

一维自组织临界米堆模型的临界雪崩指数

对一维链上的米堆模型的临界行为进行了数值模拟研究.在临界状态下,雪崩大小的概率统计分布服从"幂指"规律,但因为临界雪崩指数和系统大小之间有一定的依赖关系,所以在考虑了系统的尺寸效应后,从而得到了更为精确的雪崩指数τs=1.53±0.01和τt=1.84±0.01.     

Proportional integral plus multi-frequency resonant current controller for grid-connected voltage source converter under imbalanced and distorted supply voltage conditions

This paper proposes a current control scheme for a grid-connected pulse width modulator （PWM） voltage source converter （GC-VSC） under imbalanced and distorted supply voltage conditions. The control scheme is implemented in the positive synchronously rotating reference frame and composed of a single proportional integral （PI） regulator and multi-frequency resonant controllers tuned at the frequencies of 2ω and 6ω, respectively. The experimental results, with the target of eliminating the active power oscillations and current harmonics on a prototype GC-VSC system, validate the feasibility of the proposed current control scheme during supply voltage imbalance and distortion.     

论木兰拳的文化特征及其发展策略

20世纪80年代以来,木兰拳崭露头角,并日渐风行.它的产生与发展作为一种文化现象,都是值得研究与探讨的.通过对木兰拳的文化学解读,认为正是优越的人文地理环境、准确的自身定位、官方的认可与支持孕育了木兰拳"武舞相融、海派特征"的文化特色.同时,本文通过对木兰拳近20年研究现状的分析,提出了木兰拳今后的发展策略,认为:一要提升木兰拳的研究层面,即从不同视角关注木兰拳技术背后所隐含的文化内涵,以及学理方面的研究,从而提升木兰拳的研究层面和完善其理论结构.二要转变木兰拳的竞赛观念,即坚持以锻炼身体、增加情感交流的目的,以真正体现出大众健身运动"重在参与"及创造"和谐社会"的精神.三要注重木兰拳的文化传播,即在今后的推广中应以文化为体.以技术为用,重在民族文化推广.     

秦朝的大一统观念与史学

秦朝是我国历史上第一个统一的封建王朝,但是只有短短15年,加上秦朝统治者在推行文化专制政策过程中,也力行树立法家的权威性,以至"焚书"、"坑儒",使得秦朝史学著作留传至今的极少.但是,这并不能说明秦朝就不重视史学.无论是从秦朝政治的"大一统"观念上,还是从秦朝对史学控制的加强上,都不难看出秦王朝对于史学服务于现实政治的高度重视和强烈要求.
