基于支持向量机的siRNA降解效率预测

为了辅助siRNA的设计,从已发表文献中共收集到573个siRNA的实验数据,使用基于统计学习理论的支持向量机(SVM)方法,提取了siRNA序列的碱基对关联性(BBC)特征,然后使用十倍交叉验证方法,对siRNA沉默目标基因的效率进行了预测.结果表明,基于支持向量机,选用多项式核作为核函数的算法具有最高的AUC值(0.73,ROC曲线图)和最高的r值(0.43,Pearson相关系数分析),优于以前基于打分的算法.结果说明,在以后的siRNA的设计中应该更多关注碱基之间的关联信息.     

Co13O8—metalloxocubes: a new class of perovskite-like neutral clusters with cubic aromaticity

Exploring stable clusters to understand structural evolution from atoms to macroscopic matter and to construct new materials is interesting yet challenging in chemistry. Utilizing our newly developed deep-ultraviolet laser ionization mass spectrometry technique, here we observe the reactions of neutral cobalt clusters with oxygen and find a very stable cluster species of Co₁₃O₈ that dominates the mass distribution in the presence of a large flow rate of oxygen gas. The results of global-minimum structural search reveal a unique cubic structure and distinctive stability of the neutral Co₁₃O₈ cluster that forms a new class of metal oxides that we named as ‘metalloxocubes’. Thermodynamics and kinetics calculations illustrate the structural evolution from icosahedral Co₁₃ to the metalloxocube Co₁₃O₈ with decreased energy, enhanced stability and aromaticity. This class of neutral oxygen-passivated metal clusters may be an ideal candidate for genetic materials because of the cubic nature of the building blocks and the stability due to cubic aromaticity.

A case analysis of Savecom: The role of indigenous leadership in implementing a business intelligence system

Evidence suggests that some factors can determine the successful implementation of strategic IT systems, i.e. Business Intelligence (BI). Although BI systems can provide companies with insights into their business operations they are painstakingly difficult to implement. Most frequently, employee resistance and change management related issues have been identified as the main causes of system implementation failure. This is particularly true for Chinese firms, where cultural nuances such as personalism and particularism serve as powerful barriers to ‘intelligence’ sharing. In this case study, we report how Chinese CEOs can overpower these restraining forces to facilitate implementation success. Preliminary evidence from our case firm suggests that a strong, committed and adaptive leadership style provides a basis for effective BI exploitation. Further, we also identify some strategic and tactical actions that Chinese CEOs can use to foster a knowledge sharing culture that is conducive to BI systems implementation.

词块图式模式在高职英语应用文写作教学中的应用研究

英语应用文写作应该是高职院校培养人才不可或缺的一项教学内容,但是高职英语应用文写作教学存在各种问题使得应用文写作教学效率低下。文章以词块图式模式为依据,通过数据对比和调查问卷,证实了词块图式模式不仅提高了学生英语应用文写作的成绩,同时也在一定程度上改变学生的学习习惯。     

Instructional leadership practices in Singapore

This paper presents a review of the literature on principal instructional leadership in Singapore. The authors investigated the dimensions of instructional leadership in the practices of Singapore principals and highlighted the strategies these leaders adopt to enact their instructional roles. Singapore principals were found to play an active role in defining the school vision and promoting the school climate. However, in the areas of curriculum implementation and classroom instruction, the middle management team in the school played more active roles as compared to principals. Five broad conclusions were discussed to provide perspectives on instructional leadership practices in Singapore. This paper also highlighted limitations on current instructional leadership research in Singapore and pointed to areas of future research.     

三丙酮胺对离体大鼠心肌缺血的保护作用

离体大鼠心脏灌流实验表明,三丙酮胺(TAA)能改善缺血心肌的收缩功能,降低缺血心叽中过氧化产物丙二醛(MDA)含量,保护超氧化物歧化酶(SOD)的活性,提高胞浆肌酸磷酸激酶(CPK)含量,并有效地抑制CaCl_2诱导的血小板聚集作用.     

泉州洛阳江红树林湿地鹭科鸟类群落动态研究

通过对洛阳湾红树林湿地鹭科鸟类进行连续观测和调查研究，结果表明：研究区的鹭科鸟类共有8属12种，鹭科鸟类群落数量周年变化如下：3月至4月数量开始增加，5月至6月达到最高值，6月下旬到7月略有下降，8月至9月下旬数量相对稳定，9月下旬，鹭群骤然迁飞，l0月中旬渐有回升，11月至12月上旬数量较少，12月中旬至翌年2月数量最低．在1999年以前，鹭群总数最高值在3000只范围波动，随后逐渐增长，2002年骤然增加到l万只左右．鹭科鸟类种类的组成，数量水平和生态分布的状况，不仅与迁徒、繁殖、取食等行为有关，也与人类对其保护或是侵害行为极为密切．鹭鸟对湿地生态环境的变化极为敏感，具有客观、直接、即时、连续的指示作用．因此建立完善的鹭鸟资源评价体系，对于洛阳湾生态资源的保护和可持续发展具有重要意义。
