EJB组件技术在数字参考咨询系统中的应用

随着数字图书馆的不断发展,如何构建一个良好的数字参考咨询系统已成为数字图书馆发展中的重要问题。在对EJB多层体系结构分析的基础上,构建了一个基于EJB的数字参考咨询系统,并从面向对象的角度对该平台的设计及实现过程进行了分析。

Joint effects of microwave and chromium trioxide on root tip cells of Vicia faba

The mutagemc effects of microwave and chromium trioxide （CrO3） on Vicia faba root tip were studied. Micronucleus assay and chromosomal aberration assay were used to determine the mitotic index, the micronucleus frequency and chromosomal aberration frequency of Vicia faba root tip cells induced by microwave and CrO3. The results showed that the micronucleus frequency decreased, and that the mitotic index and chromosomal aberration frequency showed linear dose responses to CrO3, in treatment of microwave for 5 s. In microwave of 25 s, the mitotic index decreased, the micronucleus frequency and chromosomal aberration frequency increased with increase of CrO3 concentration. We concluded that microwave and CrO3 had antagonistic effect on the mitotic index of Vicia faba root tip cells, but had synergetic effect on micronucleus frequency and chromosomal aberration frequency of Viciafaba root tip cells.     

Chronic morphine drinking establishes morphine tolerance, but not addiction in Wistar rats

Objective： Some animal models apply morphine in the drinking water to generate addiction, but related reports are not free of conflicting results. Accordingly, this study aimed to figure out if chronic consumption of morphine in the drinking water can induce morphine addiction in Wistar rats. Methods： For 3 weeks, the animals received a daily morphine dose of 35 mg/kg by offering a calculated volume of sugar water （5% sucrose） with morphine （0. l mg/ml） to each rat; animals receiving just sugar water served as controls. Immediately after the treatment phase, the tail immersion test was used to check for morphine tolerance, and all animals were then kept on tap water for one week （withdrawal phase）. Afterwards, all rats were allowed to choose their drinking source by offering two bottles, containing sugar water without and with morphine, simultaneously for two days （preference phase）. Results： While the chronic consumption of morphine led to a reduction in body weight and to morphine tolerance, the morphine-treated Wistar rats did not show any preference for the opiate-containing sugar water. Conclusion： Body weight loss and tolerance do not reveal a condition of drug craving, and current animal models should be re-evaluated regarding their potential to establish morphine addicted animals.     

Proliferation of endothelial cell on polytetrafluoroethylene vascular graft materials carried VEGF gene plasmid

Objective： To investigate whether vascular endothelial growth factor （VEGF） gene plasmid carried by polytetrafluoroethylene （PTFE） vascular graft materials could transfect endothelial cells （ECs） and promote their growth. Methods： PTFE vascular graft materials carried with pCDI-hVEGF121, pCDI or pEGFP were incubated in Tris-buffer solution and the values of optical density of 260 nm at different time were plotted, then the DNA controlled release curve was made. ECs derived from human umbilical vein were seeded on the pCDI-hVEGF121/pCDI/pEGFP-PTFE materials or tissue culture plates, ECs numbers were counted and VEGF protein concentrations at different time were measured by enzyme-linked immunoadsorbent assay method. Green fluorescent protein （GFP） expression in ECs on pEGFP-PTFE materials was examined with fluorescence mi- croscopy. Results： The controlled release curve showed that the gene released from PTFE materials was rapid within 8 h, then slowed down and that the gene released continuously even after 72 h. At 24, 72 and 120 h, ECs number and proliferation rate of pCDI-hVEGFI21-PTFE materials were higher than those ofpCDI or pEGFP-PTFE materials （P〈0.05）. VEGF protein concentration of pCDI-hVEGF121-PTFE materials was higher than that of pC DI or pEGFP-PTFE materials at 6, 24, 72 and 120 h （P〈0.01）. GFP expression in ECs on the pEGFP-PTFE materials could be detected by fluorescence microscopy. Conclusion： PTFE graft can be used as a carrier of VEGF gene plasmid, VEGF gene carried by PTFE can transfect ECs and promote ECs growth.

学术期刊的"厚重化"倾向

在全国9000多家期刊中,学术类期刊占了很大比重,可以说占据期刊业的半壁江山.不可否认,众多的学术期刊对繁荣我国的科学研究起到了相当大的作用,是我国科学研究成果发表的主要阵地.但是就目前我国学术期刊的发展而言,也存在不少问题,其中就是大多数学术期刊越来越"厚重化",尤其是哲学社会科学学术期刊尤甚.     

“211”大学图书馆管理系统研究——基于“211”大学图书馆管理系统的调查

针对图书馆管理系统研究中图书馆管理系统缺乏定义、调查分析的样本小、发展趋势的预测缺乏有力的证据支持的论证过程,提出了图书馆管理系统定义,对112所211大学图书馆采用的图书馆管理系统进行了调查,并对211大学图书馆采用的图书馆管理系统及其采用的数据库功能扩展能力进行了比较,并指出网格计算、数据仓库、SOA将带来大学图书馆管理系统的计算环境、数据管理、系统整合思想的变化。在此基础上,得出未来图书馆管理系统形成新的普适计算/网格计算的体系结构,并整合数据仓库技术,支持进一步的数据挖掘,系统向松耦合的SOA架构发展的结论。     

图书馆领导团队组成特征与图书馆绩效关系的实证研究

图书馆领导在图书馆实行绩效管理中的作用不容忽视.文章在高层梯队理论的指导下,提出图书馆领导团队组成特征与图书馆绩效关系的一系列理论假设,并以浙江省38家图书馆作为样本进行验证.结果表明,图书馆领导团队的组成特征均值对图书馆绩效有影响,图书馆领导团队的平均受教育水平和平均任期与图书馆的绩效成正相关关系;图书馆领导团队组成特征异质性对图书馆绩效没有显著影响.
