Ecological principle meets cancer treatment: treating children with acute myeloid leukemia with low-dose chemotherapy

Standard chemotherapy regimens for remission induction of pediatric acute myeloid leukemia (AML) are associated with significant morbidity and mortality. We performed a cohort study to determine the impact of reducing the intensity of remission induction chemotherapy on the outcomes of selected children with AML treated with a low-dose induction regimen plus granulocyte colony stimulating factor (G-CSF) (low-dose chemotherapy (LDC)/G-CSF). Complete response (CR) after two induction courses was attained in 87.0% (40/46) of patients receiving LDC/G-CSF. Post-remission therapy was offered to all patients, and included standard consolidation and/or stem cell transplantation. During the study period, an additional 94 consecutive children with AML treated with standard chemotherapy (SDC) for induction (80/94 (85.1%) of the patients attained CR after induction II, P = 0.953) and post-remission. In this non-randomized study, there were no significant differences in 4-year event-free (67.4 vs. 70.7%; P = 0.99) and overall (70.3 vs. 74.6%, P = 0.69) survival in the LDC/G-CSF and SDC cohorts, respectively. After the first course of induction, recovery of white blood cell (WBC) and platelet counts were significantly faster in patients receiving LDC/G-CSF than in those receiving SDC (11.5 vs. 18.5 d for WBCs (P < 0.001); 15.5 vs. 22.0 d for platelets (P < 0.001)). To examine the quality of molecular response, targeted deep sequencing was performed. Of 137 mutations detected at diagnosis in 20 children who attained hematological CR after two courses of LDC/G-CSF (n = 9) or SDC (n = 11), all of the mutations were below the reference value (variant allelic frequency <2.5%) after two courses, irrespective of the treatment group. In conclusion, children with AML receiving LDC/G-CSF appear to have similar outcomes and mutation clearance levels, but significantly lower toxicity than those receiving SDC. Thus, LDC/G-CSF should be further evaluated as an effective alternative to remission induction in pediatric AML.     

农业劳动力老龄化对土地规模经营的影响

农业劳动力老龄化减少了农业劳动供给,提高了农业劳动力成本,改变了农户农业生产中投入土地和劳动的比例,深刻影响了农户土地规模经营。为了揭示劳动力老龄化对土地规模经营的影响机制,本文利用2016年中国农村固定观察点农户调查数据,建立以土地流转为中介变量的中介效应模型,系统评估了农业劳动力老龄化对土地规模经营的影响。研究结果表明：①农业劳动力老龄化促进青壮年农户开展土地规模经营,即农业劳动力老龄化越严重的地区,农户土地规模经营发展越快。②农业劳动力老龄化推动老龄农户的土地转出和农村土地流转市场发展;农村土地流转市场的发展为青壮年农户土地规模经营创造了条件。③农业劳动力老龄化对不同种植类型和地区的农户土地规模经营的影响具有差异性。政府应从扶植农村土地流转市场建设、深化土地制度改革、完善土地规模经营补贴等方面出台政策,以配合规模经营农户的土地投资行为。     

武汉大学面向本科生的数据素养通识课程的建设与思考

[目的/意义] 旨在通过分享武汉大学数据素养通识课程的建设过程，为同行开展相关工作提供参考。[方法/过程] 通过案例分析、数据统计和数据挖掘可视化方法对"武大通识3.0"背景下的《数据素养与数据利用》课程的教学目标、教学内容、教学特色以及教学效果进行分析，探索课程体系的合理性。[结果/结论] 授课方式和课内外实践内容的设置能够很好地调动学生学习的积极性，提高学习效果；课程考核结果、学生学习前后的问卷调查及课后反馈表明，课程学习明显提升了学生的数据素养。     

高校图书馆微信公众平台老年教师使用意愿影响因素研究

[目的/意义]老年教师的使用意愿不高严重影响了高校图书馆微信公众平台的发展与进步，因此需要研究高校图书馆微信公众平台的老年教师使用意愿影响因素。[方法/过程]对科技接受模型进行改进与扩展，基于结构方程，引入性别、年龄与经验等调节因素，搭建老年教师高校图书馆微信公众平台使用意愿模型，并基于四川高校的调研数据对模型与假设进行检验与分析。[结果/结论]研究结果表明：从整体来看，该模型对老年教师高校图书馆微信公众号使用意愿的总体解释效果良好；从各个影响因素来看：实用性感知以及群体影响对老年教师高校图书馆微信公众号使用意愿具有显著的正面影响，而生理机能显著反向影响其使用意愿。     

国外知识组织体系管理工具比较分析与启示

[目的/意义] 比较分析语义网技术发展环境下国外代表性知识组织体系管理工具的研究现状及关键功能，梳理相关研究的发展趋势。[方法/过程] 通过网络调研法，遴选国外10个代表性知识组织体系管理工具，从结构定义、项目维护、数据管理、互操作性、操作环境等方面比较分析其发展现状。在此基础上，为国内知识组织体系管理工具的建设工作提供建议。[结果/结论] 研究发现，国内知识组织体系管理工具的建设工作应依托语义网、关联数据、语义集成、语义互操作等技术促进功能创新，包括：灵活设计并配置多类型数据模型、支持可持续发展的管理与维护机制、支持用户分布式协同管理与控制、知识驱动的数据迭代式更新、面向语义的KOS重用与进化、建设以KOS为核心的知识组织框架等。     

殷钟麒学校档案管理思想研究

殷钟麒先生作为民国时期重要的文书档案学专家,提出了诸多档案管理方法。殷钟麒先生关注学校档案管理问题,他对学校档案管理制度、点收、分类、登记、编目、编卷、出纳等各环节进行系统的研究,提出学校档案管理办法,其学校档案管理思想在一定程度上推动了我国学校档案管理理论与实践的发展历程,其学校档案管理思想不仅对当时学校管理工作产生影响,同时对现行高校档案管理也具有重要的参考价值和启示意义。     

科技人力资本视角下杰青科学家资助年龄对资助效果的影响——以杰青基金地球科学项目为例

[目的/意义] 杰青基金实施25年来，资助者年龄呈大龄化趋势发展，深入分析该现象对完成杰青基金的影响，对未来杰青基金管理具有重要意义。[方法/过程] 研究以1994-2018年杰青基金地球科学项目为研究对象，构建科研论文产出效率、创新能力和学术影响力三个评价指标，提出"科技人力资本投入-科研产出"理论模型及假设，采用DID模型克服样本选择性偏误所导致的内生性问题，验证理论假设，实现对杰青基金资助年龄异质性的研究。[结果/结论] 实证结果表明：杰青科学家大龄化趋势日趋严重，存在明显的45岁现象；杰青基金实施20年中，支持"资助年龄越大，资助效应越好"假设的比例较低；三个评价指标维度，资助效应最大且资助年龄在39-42岁之间的年份在杰青基金实施20年中所占比例最大。因此，无论从杰青基金设立宗旨、还是从评估结果来看，都应该避免杰青科学家大龄化趋势，扩大对中低龄优秀青年人才的资助。     

Dissecting through Barriers: A Follow-up Study on the Long-Term Effects of Interprofessional Education in a Dissection Course with Healthcare Professional Students

Several studies have shown significant improvements in the attitudes and perceptions of healthcare professional students toward interprofessional education (IPE) immediately following intervention with IPE courses. However, there remains little evidence on the lasting effects of IPE courses and the long-term influences of these IPE experiences are poorly documented. The purpose of this study is to assess the long-term effects of an intensive, ten-week interprofessional gross anatomy dissection course at McMaster University. Attitudes and perceptions of past participants towards interprofessional learning were evaluated, now that they have started working with other healthcare professionals outside of the IPE course setting. Thirty-four past participants who have clinical experience working in interprofessional settings or are currently working in the healthcare field completed a follow-up questionnaire consisting of a modified Readiness for Interprofessional Learning Scale (RIPLS) and open-ended questions. Quantitative analysis revealed a significant decrease in their attitude towards teamwork and collaboration and respect for other health professions, but a significant improvement in their understanding of roles and responsibilities compared to their results immediately after the IPE intervention. Qualitative analysis of open-ended questions revealed several themes such as developing interprofessional competencies, developing relationships, and remembering the strengths of the IPE dissection course. The results of this study indicate that the IPE experience in anatomy was highly valued by the students and that past participants maintain a clear understanding of their scope of practice, but the reality of clinical practice may have eroded gains made in the program.
