Function oriented service composition modeling

Formal models for service composition have been proposed with the variation of the requirements of service developers. Some famous models have provided checking and verification techniques and tools for the behavior of service composition. These models generally focus much on the message flow of web services and neglecting the data contained in the exchanged messages among services, which restrict the application range of these models and also the web service techniques. As new kind of services with different protocols and communication methods have appeared, it is needed to model service composition from a new view which is adapted to the new development in service area. In this paper we offer a function oriented model of service composition which treats the composite service as a software system and specify the function of services which can be directly used to the realization by service providers.     

Research and implementation of scalable parallel computing based on Map-Reduce

As a parallel programming model, Map-Reduce is used for distributed computing of massive data. Map-Reduce model encapsulates the details of parallel implementation, fault-tolerant processing, local computing and load balancing, etc., provides a simple but powerful interface. In case of having no clear idea about distributed and parallel programming, this interface can be utilized to save development time. This paper introduces the method of using Hadoop, the open-source Map-Reduce software platform, to combine PCs to carry out scalable parallel computing. Our experiment using 12 PCs to compute N-body problem based on Map-Reduce model shows that we can get a 9.8x speedup ratio. This work indicates that the Map-Reduce can be applied in scalable parallel computing.

3D打印全民DIY时代来临

翻看新闻,发现了一则关于给馒头染色事件的报道,细细品读,感触良多。其实再多的愤慨之语,也不足以说明问题,而我主要还是想问问:是什么使得中国的食品安全如此令人不信任?3年前沸沸扬扬的三鹿毒奶粉事件风波还未平息,如今三聚氰胺毒奶粉似乎又有卷土重来的趋势,而瘦肉精、皮革奶、毒豆芽、墨染粉条、牛肉膏、一滴香、火锅红、地沟油,有毒食品层出不穷,实在触目惊心,引天人共愤。

污染,污染,又是污染。经济看起来是在发展,金钱利益滚滚而来,可随之而来的污染却一再加剧,已经成了经济发展伴随的顽疾。中国的确在短短的时间里创造了经济奇迹,震惊世界;但也在短短的时间里创造了污染悲剧,后患无穷。环保部副部长潘岳就曾痛心疾首地说:中国用20年改革取得了西方100年的经济成果,但是西方100多年的环境问题也在中国的20年中集中体现。这是一道再简单不过的数学题:当你创造了一大笔财富之后,为了子孙后代的可持续发展,你又不得不花费一大笔钱去治污,最后的结果很难说你真的获得了丰厚的收益。     

Area-time associated test cost model for SoC and lower bound of test time

A novel test access mechanism (TAM) architecture with multi test-channel (TC) based on IEEE Standard 1500 is proposed instead of the traditional sub-TAM structure. The cost model of an area-time associated test and the corresponding lower bound of system-on-chip (SoC) test time are established based on this TAM architecture. The model provides a more reliable method to control the SoC scheduling and reduces the complexity in related algorithm research. The result based on the area time associated test cost model has been validated using the ITC’02 test benchmark.

以精神病理学为核心的传统心理健康模型由于过度关注心理障碍症状的消除,忽视主观幸福感等积极指标的作用,存在诊断不准确、干预难长效等缺陷.心理健康双因素模型在积极心理学运动下产生,是对传统心理健康模型的反思和超越,代表着心理健康发展的新方向,为积极心理健康教育、心理素质教育的开展提供了理论依据.文章在系统介绍心理健康双因素模型的基本观点及相关实证研究的基础上,对其贡献和不足进行了评述,并从模型的指标内涵、预测功能和干预指导作用等方面提出了进一步研究的展望.
