Adaptive swarm-based routing in communication networks

Swarm intelligence inspired by the social behavior of ants boasts a number of attractive features,including adaptation,robustness and distributed,decentralized nature,which are well suited for routing in modern communication networks.This paper describes an adaptive swarm-based routing algorithm that increases convergence speed,reduces routing instabilities and oscillations by using a novel variation of reinforcement learning and a technique called momentum.Experiment on the dynamic network showed that adaptive swarm-based routing learns the optimum routing in terms of convergence speed and average packet latency.     

Interactive Television (ITV) Instructor Behaviors: Implications of Frequency and Importance

Two hundred students majoring in education responded to the Validation of Effective Behaviors of Distance Instructors Inventory (McKenzie, Kirby, & Mims, 1997). The 41 items measured two dimensions: frequency and importance of effective behaviors in delivering distance instruction. A two-way within-subjects ANOVA was conducted. Of the 41 items, 14 were rated higher in importance than in frequency. The 14 items were then analyzed using Principal Component Analysis with Varimax rotation, which yielded two factors: Effective Learning Methods and Student Guidance. This study suggests that the behaviors of Interactive Television (ITV) instructors may be lacking in these two important factors.     

体育大学生与健康有关行为初探

通过对142名体育大学生进行的有关健康危险行为的调查，发现：体育大学生在校期间，吸烟、饮酒、自慰、无故缺课、作弊、打架等行为时而发生。章对非健康行为及其成因进行了讨论，并提出了相应干预策略和解决办法，为有关管理部门科学管理及健康教育，提供了依据。     

Adaptive terminal sliding mode control for high-order nonlinear dynamic systems

An adaptive terminal sliding mode control (SMC) technique is proposed to deal with the tracking problem for a class of high-order nonlinear dynamic systems. It is shown that a function augmented sliding hyperplane can be used to develop a new terminal sliding mode for high-order nonlinear systems. A terminal SMC controller based on Lyapunov theory is designed to force the state variables of the closed-loop system to reach and remain on the terminal sliding mode, so that the output tracking error then converges to zero in finite time which can be set arbitrarily. An adaptive mechanism is introduced to estimate the unknown parameters of the upper bounds of system uncertainties. The estimates are then used as controller parameters so that the effects of uncertain dynamics can be eliminated. It is also shown that the stability of the closed-loop system can be guaranteed with the proposed control strategy. The simulation of a numerical example is provided to show the effectiveness of the new method. Increasing school personnel's self-efficacy,knowledge, and response regarding nonsuicidal self-injury in youth

Rates of students engaging in nonsuicidal self-injury (NSSI) are rising and additional supports in the schools are needed (Nock, 2010, Ann Rev Clin Psychol, 6, 339–363; Stargell et al., 2017, Prof Sch Couns, 21, 37-46). School psychologists, school counselors, and school nurses are key personnel in responding to self-injurious behaviors within the school setting. The results of a practice-based research project are described, in which school psychologists, school counselors, and school nurses participated in training to increase their self-efficacy, knowledge, and response in regard to NSSI. The training provided information regarding best practice in responding to NSSI in youth (Hasking et al., 2016, Sch Psychol Int, 37(6), 644–663; Kanan et al., 2008, Sch Psychol Forum: Res Prac, 2, 67–79; Walsh & Muehlenkamp, 2013, Sch Psychol Forum: Res Prac, 7, 161–171). This exploratory study indicated that training positively impacted participants' perceived self-efficacy and knowledge with respect to responding to youth who engage in NSSI. Handouts and resources for school-based staff are included. Limitations and future directions are discussed.

黑龙江省中青年体育锻炼行为现状与成因探析

调查结果显示,黑龙江省中青年群体经常参与体育锻炼的人口偏低,锻炼以早上非正式体育场所最为集中,以散步、跑步、太极拳等简便易行项目为主。工作太累、没有余暇时间、缺少场地设施是影响其体育参与的主要因素。其成因主要体现在社区体育文化薄弱、经济收入水平低、体育锻炼行为习惯尚未形成等方面。     

跨组织信息系统与组织间社会网络的互动关系研究

在对组织间社会网络与跨组织信息系统应用研究进行综述的基础上,提出了一个基于适应性结构化理论的跨组织信息系统与组织间社会网络互动的研究框架。这一框架将跨组织信息系统与社会网络作为影响跨组织信息系统应用的两种主要结构来源,将互动的过程分为对结构的征用与业务流程的相互作用,互动的结果影响跨组织信息系统的应用绩效。通过结构的维度划分和对互动过程进行解构,这一模型能够更好地解释跨组织信息系统的供应链使用。
