Effects of multimedia annotations on incidental vocabulary learning and reading comprehension of advanced learners of english as a foreign language

The study investigates immediate and delayed effects of different hypermedia glosses on incidental vocabulary learning and reading comprehension of advanced foreign language learners. Sixty-nine freshman TEFL students studying at a Turkish university were randomly assigned to three types of annotations: (a) definitions of words, (b) definitions coupled with associated pictures, and (c) definitions coupled with associated short videos. Subjects were asked to read an annotated text with the intention of comprehension. The data were collected through a vocabulary pre-test, a vocabulary post-test, a delayed vocabulary test as well as a reading comprehension test. In order to measure incidental vocabulary learning, subjects were not told that they were going to be given vocabulary tests. Results showed that the groups that had access to definitions along with both types of visuals had significantly higher vocabulary scores on both immediate and delayed post-tests than the definition only group. However, no differences were observed on the reading comprehension test. Finally, the qualitative data revealed that hypermedia reading had positive impact on participants’ attitudes towards foreign language reading and vocabulary learning.

“组织行为学”研究型教学实践：方法与效果

研究型教学是以学生作为教学主体,把研究、教学以及学习有机整合在一起,对学生各方面的能力进行培养和训练。本文总结了组织行为学研究型教学的具体实践方法,并对组织行为学研究型教学的教学效果进行了调查。调查结果表明：学生普遍比较喜欢这种教学方式,认为研究型教学可以培养自己发现问题、创造性解决问题等方面的能力;但同时,学生也承认这种教学方式给他们带来了比较大的学习压力。     

烷烃链分子电荷迁移机理的理论研究

利用密度泛函理论在B3LYP/6-311+G*基组水平上以两类饱和烷烃分子链体系为研究对象:CnH2n+1OH(n=10,12,14,16,18)和C12H25X(X=Cl,OH,NH2),讨论了烷烃链分子中末端官能团、分子链链长对分子电子结构的影响以及电荷迁移机理.计算结果表明:末端官能团对分子电子结构影响较大,分子链链长对分子电子结构影响则相对较小,而饱和烷烃链分子的电荷迁移属于空穴传输机理,而不是电子传输机理.     

对毛泽东正确处理人民内部矛盾理论的若干新思考

关于正确处理人民内部矛盾的理论,理论界和学术界关注的一直是其在马克思主义创新史和中国社会主义建设道路探索史上的地位,并就此进行了大量的研究。在今天社会分化明显,人民内部矛盾凸显的新的历史条件下,毛泽东关于正确处理人民内部矛盾理论的现实意义无疑是巨大的。本文结合当时的背景,对这一理论进行了一些思考,希望对正确理解和运用这一理论有所帮助。     

价值澄清方法在高校思想政治理论课教学中的合理借鉴

价值澄清方法产生于20世纪60年代的美国,是价值澄清学派提出的一种道德教育方法体系。该学说对价值观教育重新进行了深入思考,提出了价值澄清的4个要素、3个阶段、7个步骤和多种策略等内容。我国当前的高校思想政治理论课教学应该合理借鉴价值澄清方法,而要做到合理借鉴,需要树立以生活为中心、以学生为主体、以行动为导向的教学理念,需要灵活运用多种教学策略,需要处理好灌输与选择、“收”与“放”的关系。     

Gazes in the post-colony: an analysis of African philosophies using Legitimation Code Theory

This article reports on an analysis undertaken in the field of African philosophies using selected conceptual tools from Maton’s Legitimation Code Theory (LCT). In response to calls by South African students for ‘decolonising’ the Humanities curriculum, the practical purpose of the analysis was to generate theoretically-informed guidelines for developing a curriculum for an undergraduate course in a new African Studies major. The field of African philosophies is of theoretical interest because historically it has been premised on responding to and challenging dominant, Western ideas imposed on African intellectuals through processes of colonization and modernization. LCT was employed to uncover principles that legitimate knowledge claims in this field – with a view to determining what content should be selected, recontextualized and pedagogized for the new curriculum. The analysis includes the author’s meta-reflections on the affordances and limitations of LCT for working with knowledge in the South.

以成都著名农家乐三圣乡“五朵金花”为例,基于期望差异理论,从旅游资源、旅游产品、旅游环境和旅游服务四个方面研究了“五朵金花”游客满意度。结果表明：空气清新和悠闲的生活形态是“五朵金花”游客的最重要期望,花卉景观建设和特色农家餐饮是“五朵金花”需要改进的地方,指出三圣乡“五朵金花”未来应向环境优美的休闲旅游目的地的方向发展。
