Students Designing Video Games about Immunology: Insights for Science Learning

Exposing American K–12 students to science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) content is a national initiative. Game Design Through Mentoring and Collaboration targets students from underserved communities and uses their interest in video games as a way to introduce science, technology, engineering, and math topics. This article describes a Game Design Through Mentoring and Collaboration summer program for 16 high school students and 3 college student mentors who collaborated with a science subject matter expert. After four weeks, most students produced 2-D video games with themes based on immunology concepts from the educational science game Immune Attack. Findings from three groups that finished their games and one group with an uncompleted game are explored.

运用文献资料法等研究方法，从中国男子排球的现状出发，分析讨论导致近些年中国男子排球技术-水平下降的原因。在发球与接发球，身体素质的某些方面的不足。扣球和拦网、一攻与防反的质量、训练方法和理念、比赛场上的斗志和拼搏顽强的精神做了进一步的探讨。并针对中国男子排球的不足提出了一些建议。     

No Greater Sacrifice: American Airlines Employee Crisis Response to the September 11 Attack

This case study reports the identification strategies and related tactics that American Airlines CEO Don Carty and his team of professional communicators used in their employee crisis response to the September 11 attack. Data analyzed in the study include 78 internal documents; 10 articles from the airline's corporate newspaper; and interviews with Timothy Doke, then American Airlines Vice President of Corporate Communications, and Andrea Rader, a senior member of Doke's team. The results of this study provide guidance to corporate communicators tasked with rebuilding employee morale after a malevolent-type crisis.     

一种新的基于复小波变换的数字图像水印算法

本文提出了一种基于复小波变换的新的具有鲁棒性的数字图像水印方法。为了改进算法的鲁棒性，本文采用了纠错码，该技术是在空域中进行的。为了了解本文所提出的在CWT域上所提出的算法，我们在DWT域上采用同样的嵌入算法来和它进行比较。最后，我们要通过试验来检测两种算法对于选择性攻击(比如JPEG，JPEG2000压缩)的鲁棒性，并利用水印检测软件基准来对他们进行比较。     

Religiosity and attitudes toward muslim immigrants in the context of a terrorist attack

Research on religiosity and attitudes toward immigrants is inconclusive, while it has repeatedly been reported that Islamist terrorist attacks lead to anti-immigrant attitudes. In this context, it remains unclear how these aspects interact, especially, since we can assume that religion plays an important role in light of an attack by an extremist religious group like ISIS: How does an Islamist terrorist attack moderate the relationship between religiosity and attitudes toward immigrants? The present study, therefore, analyses the relationship between religiosity and attitudes toward Muslim immigrants before and after the ‘Charlie Hebdo Attack’. It builds on the Uncertainty-Identity-Theory and the Religious Coping Literature. Analyses of European Social Survey (ESS) data reveal that the relationship varies over time: Religiosity does not predict the attitudes before the attack. Immediately after the attack, more religious individuals are less accepting. Lastly, with temporal distance, greater religiosity makes liberal attitudes more likely.

基于特征的可信度认证模型研究

现行认证可分为直接认证和第三方认证,但它们都存在缺陷:固定口令认证和认证的一次性。基于特征的可信度认证可以弥补上述缺陷。对该认证模型进行了论述。
