Wave波形再现技术

Wave文件是当前计算机多媒体处理时广泛使用的音频文档格式．文章对Wave的两种格式的文化结构进行了详细的分析。在此基础上，阐述了从Waye文件中提取音频采集时的录音参数的方法和根据Wave音频数据信息再现波形的技术。     

Analysis and application of error concealment tools in AVS-M decoder

Audio Video coding Standard (AVS) is the latest audio and video coding standard of China. AVS Part 7 (also known as A VS-M) targets mobility applications where error concealment is of great importance. This paper first briefly introduces the general concept of error concealment. Then two error concealment schemes are proposed and implemented on AVS-M decoder under different test conditions. Simulation results of the schemes and suggestions on how to use these tools are also provided.     

Research on fast real-time adaptive audio mixing in multimedia conference

Walking the walk and the impact of space and place on new media art

This paper looks at the implications of the loss of site illustrated by three diverse, site-specific new media art case studies: Taking Pictures by Janet Cardiff, Rio Videowall by Dara Birnbaum, and net.flag by Mark Napier. Focus will be placed on the challenges to permanence of new media art by exploring the impact of the expansion of the Saint Louis Art Museum and changes to geography of the surrounding park on Taking Pictures. The preservation of Taking Pictures is considered in the context of the other two case studies in terms of physical site-specificity vs. mediated site-specificity. The impact of new media technology, artist intent, and participant's interactions are considered in terms of the functionality, viability, and preservation of site-specific new media art.

Video coding optimization in AVS2

Chinese second generation of the Audio Video Coding Standard, known as the AVS2, competing with HEVC/H.265 and AV1, has become a well-known video compression standard. Many unique tools have been developed and incorporated in AVS2. This paper proposes several encoder optimization schemes with respect to rate-distortion optimization (RDO). Specifically, by exploiting the close relationship between the total number of referenced pictures and the hierarchy of reference structure, a reference structure determined parameter (RSDP) algorithm reallocates Lagrange multiplier. Moreover, an adaptive quantization parameter offset (AQPO) algorithm is provided at both picture-level and Groups of Pictures (GoP)-level to adjust quantization parameters adaptively on top of the preassigned ones. Both RSDP algorithm and AQPO algorithm have already been adopted by AVS2 and incorporated in its reference software. Experimental results show that in the low-delay, RSDP and AQPO achieved savings of 1.35% and 1.26% on BDBR, respectively.
