学术代表作时间周期、首发载体及题材类型特征研究——以图灵奖为例

[目的/意义]代表作在学术评价中的全面推行是科研管理工作的关注热点。其规律性研究有助于推进代表作评价的理论构建,为国家科研评价改革提供决策参考。[研究设计/方法]选取图灵奖得主代表作为研究对象,基于文献计量和非参数检验方法,分析图灵奖代表作时间周期、首发载体及题材类型等的特征规律。[结论/发现]①随时间推移,代表作从发布到被图灵奖认可所需时间存在逐渐上升的整体趋势。②不同首发载体的代表作完成年龄和被认可所需时间可能会存在一定差异,在会议类和发明类代表作中尤为显著。③部分代表作的题材类型对代表作的完成年龄和被认可所需时间具有相对显著影响。[创新/价值]以图灵奖为切入点,分析获奖者学术代表作特征,为相关学术评价制度的设立提供参考和借鉴。     

从国家科技进步奖获奖看我军医药卫生科技创新发展态势

目的：了解国家科技进步奖中军队医药卫生获奖情况。方法：利用类比法统计了2007-2012年我军医药卫生获取国家科技进步奖的情况。结果：2007-2012年我军医药卫生科技获得的国家科技进步奖的数量、等级和获奖率均呈上升趋势,获奖项目主要集中在公共卫生安全、疑难病症防治和新药研发这3个领域。结论：军队医药卫生领域科研队伍是国家科技创新体系的一支重要力量,临床与科研相结合成为我军医药卫生科技创新的一种重要模式,对公共卫生安全的科研项目应给予更大的政策和经费倾斜。     

Accomplishments Come in Many Forms: The Virginia Boucher-OCLC Distinguished Interlibrary Loan Librarian Award

One important way that the American Library Association acknowledges the activities of its members is through the Virginia Boucher-OCLC Distinguished Interlibrary Loan (ILL) Librarian Award. Named for Virginia Boucher, a former ILL librarian whose contributions and leadership enhanced the field of interlibrary loan, the OCLC-funded prize has been awarded annually since 2000. It is the aim of this article to look back at Virginia Boucher's work and the honor given in her name before briefly reviewing the careers and achievements of past award recipients.     

An Interview Forum on Interlibrary Loan/Document Delivery with Lynn Wiley and Tom Delaney

Abstract

The Virginia Boucher-OCLC Distinguished ILL Librarian Award is the most prestigiouscommendation given to practitioners in the field. The following questions about ILL were posed to the two most recent recipients of the Boucher Award: Tom Delaney (2002), Coordinator of Interlibrary Loan Services at Colorado State University and Lynn Wiley (2001), Information Resource Retrieval Center Coordinator at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. Questions were written by Douglas Hasty, a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Access Services.     

李安导演电影中的中西方文化观

李安导演的电影,既有对中国传统文化的理解与思考,也有对西方价值体系的感受。其早期作品＂父亲三部曲＂的三部影片从不同角度逐级深入地表现和阐述了中西方两种不同文化观念的冲突与融合,以及在这种冲突中中国传统文化的归属。在此后的作品中,李安继续着他对于中西方文化和艺术的思考,极力将中西方文化的内涵及其美学表达完美地结合在一起,并出色地运用到电影拍摄中,形成了其独特的创作风格,获得了国际电影界的认可。

莫言获得诺贝尔文学奖后,引起很多社会现象,折射出很多社会问题。论文主要从“诺奖焦虑症”的消失、莫言热、支持还是质疑莫言、莫言获奖原因探究、莫言获奖与中国当代文学五个方面对这些社会现象进行评述。     

IFLA图书馆国际营销奖及其背后的营销理念

IFLA图书馆国际营销奖积累了大量的最佳实践,对于中国的图书馆营销有着重要的借鉴价值;更重要的是,该奖项的创立者们指出,长期以来“宣传推广”几乎代表了“图书馆营销”的所有内涵,“图书馆营销”的内涵应该随着时代的要求逐步拓展。基于已有研究,梳理该奖项从2003年设立以来到2013年的所有获奖情况,指出研究相关案例时值得注意的一些基本情况,并从构建全面的营销体系、不变的基本原则和与时俱进的策略、多种最佳实践的吸收与内化3个层面讨论奖项及其获奖案例背后的营销理念。

任东华的《茅盾文学奖研究》力图从"制度-美学"、"文本-美学"和"比较-美学"等方面努力建构起规模宏大的茅盾文学奖美学体系,尽管存在一些不足,但无疑是当前茅盾文学奖研究领域中的一部视野宏阔、理论丰厚、富有创见性的学术著作。     

Traveling the World with Outstanding International Children’s Literature

In 2005, the United States Board on Books for Young People (USBBY) and the Children’s Book Council, Inc. (CBC) formed a committee to evaluate, select and publicize books of exceptional quality which were originally published outside of the United States and subsequently released by an American publisher. This article offers brief annotations of the 2006 and 2007 Outstanding International Children’s Book Award winners for the K–2 age group—17 titles from nine different countries. In addition, the work of USBBY and the CBC, Inc., is briefly explained.     

Citation metrics of excellence in sports biomechanics research

This study extended research on key citation metrics of winners of two career scholar awards in sports biomechanics. Google Scholar (GS) was searched using Harzing’s Publish or Perish software for the 13 most recent winners of the ISBS Geoffrey Dyson Award and the ASB Jim Hay Memorial Award. Returned records were corrected for author, and publications excluded for all but peer-reviewed journal articles, proceedings articles, chapters and books in English. These recent award winners had published about 150 publications that had been cited typically 4,082 and 6,648 times over a 26- and 28-year period before receiving these career awards for sports biomechanics research. Estimated median citations at time of their awards were 2,927 and 4,907 for the Dyson and Hay awards, respectively. Award winners had mean Hirsh indexes of 32–45 and mean h_i of 19–28. Their mean g indexes (59–84) and their numerous citation classics (C > 100) indicated that they had many influential publications. The citation metrics of these scholars were outstanding and consistent with recent studies of top scholars in biomechanics and kinesiology/exercise science. Careful searching, cleaning and interpretation of several scholar-level citation metrics may provide useful confirmatory evidence for evaluations of awards committees.
