观念和方法的变迁——20世纪李渔生平考论述评

回顾了20世纪学界对李渔生平考论的历史进程,认为随着时代学术思潮的变迁,对李渔生平考论的兴趣及角度也在不断发生变化,变化的整体趋向就是政治色彩的逐渐淡化和价值评判的日渐疏离,以及多元化的学术研究方法。同时,这一进程也折射出整个学界在作家生平研究方面的发展趋势。     

Public infrastructure,location of private schools and primary school attainment in an emerging economy

The paper argues that access to public infrastructure plays a crucial role on the presence of private schools in a community, as it could not only minimise the cost of production, but also ensure a high return to private investment. Results using community, school and child/household-level PROBE survey data from five north Indian states provide some support to this central hypothesis: even after controlling for all other factors, access to village infrastructural facilities is associated with a higher likelihood of having a private school in the community. This is also corroborated by an analysis of household demand for private schools. The paper concludes by examining the effect of private school presence on year 5 pass rates: while all-school pass rates are significantly higher in villages with a private school, private school presence fails to have significant effect on local state school pass rates.     

Teacher MA attainment rates, 1970–2000

The share of female teachers in the U.S. with an MA more than doubled between 1970 and 2000. This increase is puzzling, as it is much larger than that of other college-educated women, and it occurred over a period of declining teacher aptitude. I estimate the contribution of changes in teacher demographic characteristics, increases in the returns to an MA, and changes in teacher certification requirements to increases in teacher MA attainment rates. I find that the majority of the rise in attainment not attributable to secular trends and increases in the average age of teachers can be explained by increases in the returns to an MA among teachers. The increase in MA returns among teachers presents a second puzzle, as there is little evidence that master's degrees increase teacher productivity.

20世纪以来日本学者的欧阳修诗歌研究,其成绩主要体现在四大方面,即:欧阳修诗歌材料的整理、选译,欧阳修的生平、思想研究,欧阳修诗歌的艺术特色研究及欧阳修诗论研究。日本学者的欧阳修诗歌研究对我国古典诗学研究具有重要的参照与借鉴意义,也为我们审视自身的研究观念和研究手段提供了反省之鉴。     

海西经济区产业结构与经济增长关系研究——基于偏离-份额分析空间模型

应用偏离-份额分析空间模型来研究2004—2008年海西经济区20个地市产业结构与经济增长的关系。运用空间产业结构因素和空间竞争力因素将海西经济区20个地市的经济增长状况进行分类。考虑了空间影响因素的模型分析表明,海西经济区各地市产业结构因素比竞争力因素更能推动各地市的经济增长。进而从三大产业角度对海西经济区20个地市的经济增长水平进行分类。在分析基础上,提出了一些建议。     

无线传感器网络的温深测量系统设计

针对水中温度和深度参数测量,应用传感器网络技术设计了基于高性能单片机、数字集成温度传感器和扩频通信模块的温度深度同步测最系统,给出了系统的硬件和软件设计方法以及部分源代码.结果表明,该系统具有测量精度高、使用方便、工作稳定可靠并可组网工作等特点.     

20世纪上半叶长江三角洲农业生产力评估

20世纪上半叶,长江三角洲主要粮食作物水稻、三麦和主要经济作物棉花、油菜的亩均产量均趋于减少。与清代中叶相比,长江三角洲主要农作物的单位面积产量也趋于下降。即使在长江三角洲农业生产力最高的20—30年代,农业生产仍未恢复到19世纪中叶太平天国战前的水平。     

基于MSP430风扇速度自调装置的实现

针对市场上的电风扇不能根据温度自动调速的问题,设计了一种电风扇自动调速器,阐述了以MSP430F2254为核心的风扇调速器的硬件设计和软件设计．该系统具有温度实时检测、上下限温度设置、实时温度显示、人机界面等功能．并具有功耗低、性能稳定、经济实用等优点．

School quality and learning gains in rural Guatemala

I use unusually detailed data on schools, teachers and classrooms to explain student achievement growth in rural Guatemala. Several variables that have received little attention in previous studies – including the number of school days, teacher content knowledge and pedagogical methods – are robust predictors of achievement. A series of decompositions by student ethnicity and type of school shed some additional light on important questions in the Guatemalan context, and beyond. The large indigenous test score gap is not explained by differences in an extensive list of observable features of schools. The large effect for community characteristics suggests peer group effects or more general institutional differences related to services or labor markets. PRONADE community schools are associated with moderate gains vis-à-vis public schools in areas related to utilization of capacity, such as days worked. But these gains are largely offset by lower teacher capacity, which highlights the challenge of improving school quality in poor, rural areas.
