Scholars committed to opportunities in psychological education: a training and mentoring program for future psychologists of color

ABSTRACT

Although strides towards inclusivity and racial equality have been made in graduate education, many barriers to graduate education remain for racial/ethnic minorities. In response, we created Scholars Committed to Opportunities in Psychological Education (SCOPE), a mentor-based program for racial/ethnic minority undergraduates. 63 racial/ethnic minority undergraduates completed the SCOPE curricula and pre- and post-program questionnaires regarding graduate school application knowledge, application confidence, stress, self-efficacy, and SCOPE program satisfaction. Mentors completed a training and questionnaires in one SCOPE cohort. Knowledge about the GRE, the application process, and application confidence increased, and stress decreased, following SCOPE. The result of this work is a portable mentoring program that can be used across disciplines and demographics to increase inclusivity and equality.     

The impact of alternative authentic assessment outcomes in Palestinian fourth grade math classrooms

Focusing on evaluating students’ performance in basic math classrooms, the researchers in this study examined the impact of alternative assessments on learning outcomes in fourth grade Palestinian classrooms. Representing a large sector of education in the Palestinian territories, fourth grade students were randomly selected to participate in the study in which they participated in various math instructional and assessment activities throughout multiple lessons and cycles. Alternative assessment approaches were used including student self- assessment, peer assessment, and teacher assessment in terms of three main achievement levels to measure the extent to which students learned the math concepts by recall and remembrance, ability to apply, and making inferences. Mixed Design ANOVA measures were used to analyze and interpret the results which showed significant trends and correlations across the four cycles of math instruction and indicated that alternative authentic assessment methods have had a positive impact on students’ learning and application of math. Implications for integrating authentic assessment measures as well as peer and self- assessments were drawn in light of the promising outcomes of augmenting student motivation and developing critical life-long skills.     

基于B/S结构的电子签到系统的设计与实现

B/S结构,即Browse/Server(浏览器/服务器)结构,是随着Internet技术的兴起,利用了不断成熟的WWW技术,结合浏览器的多种Script语言(VBScript、JavaScript…)和ActiveX技术,用浏览器就实现了强大的功能,是一种全新的软件系统构造技术。Active Server Pages(简称ASP)是一种包含了VBScript或JavaScript脚本程序代码的动态网页技术,浏览器浏览ASP网页时,IIS(Internet Infomtaion Server)就会根据请求生成相应的HTML代码,然后再返回给浏览器,浏览器端看到的就是动态生成的网页,ASP可以采用ADO(ActiveX Data Object)技术访问后台与数据库。在此基础上,利用ASP技术实现基于B/S结构的电子签到系统。     

Mathematica和Mathcode混编的一种方法

提出了通过Mathematica的第三方程序包MathCode和Mathlink通讯协议实现Mathematica与C/C 之间快速混编的方法,并结合实例与其他的混编方法进行了比较,指出其混编的优势所在.     

基于ANSYS的加工中心XH715动静态分析

数控机床结构影响加工质量,因此在机床机构设计中应满足静刚度及其动态特性。介绍利用Pro/E建立有限元模型并通过ANSYS分析整机固有频率、振型及动态特性。     

2-（1，2-亚乙／1，3-亚丙二硫）亚甲基-3-羰基-N-芳（烷）基丁酰胺制备的新方法

以易制备的2-（1,2-亚乙／1,3-亚丙二硫）亚甲基-3-羰基丁酸1为原料,经与氯化亚砜的氯化反应后,与胺反应成功地以较好产率（40．5％-72．0％）合成重要的有机合成中间体2-（1,2-亚乙／1,3一亚丙二硫）亚甲基-3-羰基-N-芳（烷）基丁酰胺3．     

Polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins and dibenzofurans in flue gas emissions from municipal solid waste incinerators in China

Polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins and furans （PCDD/Fs） emissions in flue gas from two types of municipal solid waste incinerators （MSWIs） most commonly used in China were investigated in this study. The selected incinerators include two grate-type MSWIs： MSWI-A （350 t/d） and MSWI-B 050 t/d）, and two fluidized bed MSWIs： MSWI-C （400 t/d） and MSWI-D （400 t/d）, which are all equipped with semi-dry lime scrubber and bag filter except MSWI-D equipped with cyclone and wet scrubber （WS） as air pollutant control device （APCD）. Results indicated that the emission concentration and the international toxic equivalents （I-TEQs） of the PCDD/Fs from the stacks were in the range of 1.210-10.273 ng/Nm^3 and 0.019-0.201 ng I-TEQ/Nm^3, respectively. They were greatly lower than the emission regulation standard of PCDD/Fs in China （1.0 ng I-TEQ/Nm^3）. However, only the PCDD/Fs emission level from MSWI-C was below 0.1 ng I-TEQ/Nm^3. Although the homologue profiles were distinct, the contributions of the 2,3,7,8-subsituted congeners to the total I-TEQ were similar among all the investigated MSWIs. Two major 2,3,7,8-substituted congeners, 2,3,4,7,8-PeCDF and 1,2,3,7,8-PeCDD, account for 47% and 9% （average values） of the total I-TEQ values, respectively. The correlation between PCDD/Fs levels and composition of flue gas was also discussed.     

对青少年运动员胫骨疲劳性骨膜炎的实验研究

笔者针对青少年运动员中胫骨疲劳性骨膜炎发病率高的特点，自1999年以来，以来 往信函和个别访谈的方法，对河南、湖南、湖北、广东和广西五省35所高级中学、10所高等 院校体育系和8所体校的410例患者采用1/1000Hg2(NO3)2．2H2O（千分之一硝酸亚汞）进行 局部贴敷，并配合理疗、点穴按摩等方法，取得显著疗效，治愈率高达96%，深受青少年体 育爱好者的欢迎．     

基于嵌入式技术网络测试仪的研究及设计

本文就网络发展现状进行分析,重点研究了嵌入式技术,C8051F340处理器和TCP/IP协议。提出了一种基于嵌入式技术的网络终端测试仪的设计。     

用于被动力/力矩再现的新型磁流变液阻尼器

研制了一种用于被动力/力矩再现的新型磁流变液阻尼器,该阻尼器能够在磁场的作用下产生连续变化的阻尼力/力矩.阻尼器的结构包括一个上盖和一个下盖,一个转子设置于上盖和下盖之间,转子与上下盖之间的间隙充满磁流变液,在磁场作用下其粘度变大时,转子相对于壳体将受阻尼力作用.阻尼力矩的模型主要由以下几部分组成:一是由磁场作用于磁流变液产生的力矩,二是由磁流变液的动力粘度产生的力矩,最后是由装置的摩擦产生的力矩.由动力粘度产生的力矩可以通过简单的方法进行计算,由摩擦产生的力矩可以通过实验测得,而由磁场产生的力矩则要通过电磁场的有限元分析得到.最后,对研制的阻尼器原型进行了性能实验,检验了设计方法的有效性.
