基于比较视野的远程教育文化研究构想

基于比较视野的远程教育文化研究是比较远程教育不可或缺的一个维度。开展远程教育文化比较研究需要考虑研究目的、研究对象、比较单位、比较内容、比较形式、研究步骤、研究挑战等方面问题。围绕这些方面,本文对研究框架进行了初步的设计和构想。     

娄底电大远程教育成本构成及变化趋势的实证分析

本文根据电大远程教育成本的分析模型,实证分析了娄底电大近年来的教育成本构成及变化趋势。研究结果表明,电大远程教育降低教育成本、简化教学环节已经刻不容缓。     

我国远程教育文化研究的进展

二十多年来,我国远程教育文化研究从远程教育文化、远程教育校园文化、文化与远程教育的关系、远程教育文化建设实践、学习文化、课程文化、质量文化以及远程教育文化比较等方面展开研究,将来可能在理论研究、实践探索以及理论与实践相结合的课题研究方面取得新进展,并有望产出系列有价值的突破性研究成果。     

E-learning commodity or community: Disciplinary differences between online courses

Differences in curriculum and teaching styles across disciplines in higher education courses are also evident in online courses. This study used two widely available sources of data, CMS tool usage logs and course evaluations, to analyze differences between online courses in disciplinary quadrants (hard-pure, hard-applied, soft-pure, soft-applied) at a large metropolitan university, over five years (2002 and 2007). For 2007, results revealed significant differences in tool usage between disciplines, particularly for assessment tools. Hard-pure courses used Tests and Pool tools more often than did soft-pure courses. The Document tool was used most extensively in applied courses. Data from course evaluations, for spring 2007 online courses, suggested that applied disciplines had a shorter learner–instructor transactional distance than did pure disciplines. Results suggest that over five years, e-learning in pure disciplines has become more commoditized, while e-learning in applied disciplines has become more diversified and more oriented to community practice.     

A social distance study of American participants in a China study abroad program

As the world becomes increasingly interdependent, mutual understanding becomes increasingly important. Therefore, it is essential that people strive for reductions in social distance on an international level. Study abroad is one of the ways to approach internationalization and promote understanding among different peoples and cultures. The research reported in this paper empirically explored the efficacy of a China study abroad program for reducing the degree of social distance between a group of American undergraduate students and the Chinese people in China.     

现代远程教育中“自主”与“监控”的反思

远程教育的教学模式需要学习者具有较强的自主学习能力,远程教育中的自主学习并非是孤立的,而是建立在交互与合作的基础之上的。事实上,在远程教学实践中,远程学习者自主学习能力和交互能力及水平并不理想,在坚持自主学习的同时,必须辅以适当的外在监控,才能保证远程学习的质量。     

远程学习者学习适应性的影响因素分析

本文首先介绍学习适应性的定义,指出其在远程教育中的重要作用。在文献调研的基础上分析我国在远程学习者学习适应性领域目前的研究现状。然后笔者对国内外远程学习适应性的研究结论进行整理分析,总结其特点：远程学习者学习适应性影响因素与技术紧密联系,研究因素的范围越来越全面。接着将国内外关于＂远程学习者学习适应性＂的研究成果进行对比分析,解析二者的异同点：关注的轻重点大范围相同,但具体研究的内容有所不同。横观对比表,笔者将我国远程学习者学习适应性的影响因素分为客观因素和主观因素。纵观对比表,笔者将客观因素总结为直接客观条件（包括学习者基本特征、身心健康）和间接客观条件（教学人员、课程和教学机构）。主观因素分为学习理念、学习能力和学习环境。
