Mobilising funds of identity in and out of school

Learning happens through participation in formal community events and informal community activities. However, learning activities that take place in and out of school are often not mutually recognised. Funds of knowledge projects foster new ways of exchanging learning experiences in and out of school. Funds of identity can be uncovered by teachers through the collection of artefacts, interests and practices that are valuable to children. Specifically, videos, photographs, self-portraits, bilingual texts, diaries or ‘shoeboxes of significant items’ are some of the resources that can be used to make a learner’s funds of identity more visible and tangible in the classroom. The main aim of this paper is to illustrate a number of resources and strategies that help to identify and mobilise funds of identity. These funds of identity are integral for educators in order to develop meaningful and contextualised lessons.     

基于高校图书馆电子资源的采访调查与分析——以海南大学图书馆为例

随着信息化时代的到来,高校图书馆的馆藏资源建设模式已经发生了变化,形成了纸质资源与电子资源并存的局面,电子资源以其方便快捷深受读者喜爱,电子资源的采购比例越来越重,如何协调电子资源的采购比例,是图书馆界丞待解决的问题。文章通过对海南大学2006～2010年间的电子资源经费使用情况进行统计、对比和分析,对此问题进行了初步的探讨。     

从国家自然科学基金看我国基础研究力量的变化趋势

国家自然科学基金是我国支持基础研究的最主要的渠道之一,获得国家自然科学基金项目的能力已经成为衡量地区和科研机构基础研究力量的一项重要指标。本文基于2001—2010年10年间的国家自然科学基金立项信息,分析了我国基础研究力量的变化趋势。省、自治区、直辖市层面呈现均衡化发展趋势,而机构层面两极分化的趋势有可能加剧。     

Listening to teacher lore: The challenges and resources of Korean heritage language teachers

In this paper, we present a study on the experiences of four Korean heritage language teachers in the United States, specifically the challenges they face and the resources they draw upon for their teaching. We situate our work within the conceptual framework of teacher lore (Ayers & Schubert, 1994) that accentuates the importance of putting teachers at the center of teacher knowledge. Our findings point to the importance of positioning heritage language teachers as bearers of funds of knowledge (Mercado & Moll, 1997) and to the importance of listening to their voice.     

北宋的官立地方学校

官方设立的地方学校与普通私塾性质的学校不同,官立学校的创办目的在于直接培养出合格的政府官员,而一般私塾旨在教化民风,学生必须通过科举,才能步入仕途。因此,官立地方学校制度虽然得到了一定程度的完善,但是随着官吏选拔制度的变化,科举制的发展,到了中央集权制社会的中后期,已经走向了没落。以往研究北宋学校,偏重于对中央太学、三舍法以及学校与科举的关系等诸方面,而对地方学校的建立发展、经济来源等问题涉及较少。研究北宋政府设立地方学校的全貌对宋代教育理论研究有启示意义。     

契约型证券投资基金对传统信托制度的改造

将契约型证券投资基金定位为信托制基金是目前学界较通行并已经《证券投资基金法》确定的认识 ,在此基础上的信托财产独立性是保护基金份额持有人利益的有力手段。但与一般信托不同的是证券投资基金的受托人职责被一分为二 ,由基金管理人和托管人共同行使 ,因此有必要建立内部的权利制衡机制 ,明确基金管理人与托管人的职责 ,使其有义务互相监督对方的职能履行 ,并与基金份额持有人大会、基金监察人等配套制度相结合 ,才能更好地达到信托目的     

Transforming teacher–family relationships: shifting roles and perceptions of home visits through the Funds of Knowledge approach

Education has embraced the idea of an ‘asset approach’ to working with families and children, creating a focus on developing collaborative relationships with families by building on what they bring to the table. In this paper we explore what happened when early childhood teachers entered homes to learn from families and identify their Funds of Knowledge. The findings show how issues of power and perception surfaced when teachers attempted to shift their role from that of teacher to learner. In analyzing teachers’ experience before, during, and after ethnographic home visits we saw their general desire to adopt an asset-based mentality. However, the hegemonic structure of schooling, previous experiences, and traditional teachers’ roles shaped their experience with the Funds of Knowledge framework. We end by discussing the implications for teachers and teacher educators who are interested in using home visits to develop an asset approach to their work with families.     

“入世”与中国投资基金的发展

中国正式加入WTO已经在即 ,发展中国家的金融深化任务对中国显得尤其重要。面对WTO的新竞争环境 ,只有加快金融创新的步伐 ,特别是投融资体制的改革。为此 ,应加快发展投资基金 ,使以商业银行为主体的间接融资为主逐渐发展为直接融资为主。笔者参照国外经验 ,提出了投资基金组建的形式、方法和原则 ,及有关spv的市场进入、经营、退出的法规与政策制定的参考。     

新型农村金融组织创新的理论逻辑与现实路径

作为国家大力支持与发展的新型农村金融组织,村镇银行、小额贷款公司和资金互助合作社在激发农村金融活力、深化农村金融改革、提升农村金融水平方面发挥了积极功效。但是,受制于金融体制机制的框架和自身组织建设的缺陷,新型农村金融组织在我国实践运作中仍暴露出不少问题。因此,运用实证分析的研究方法,考证新型农村金融组织的运行实践,以探索制度创新的现实路径,无疑对合理配置农村信贷资源,切实满足农村发展的金融需求具有重要价值。     

高校融资项目采用项目管理方式的探讨

随着国家对高校投融资体制改革的逐步深入，高校对融资项目的管理方式应实现从常规管理向项目管理过渡；唯其如此，才能真正提高高校的融资能力和水平。
