Perceptions of Community and Experiences in School: Understanding the Opportunities, Resources, and Education Within one Neighborhood

The purpose of this study is to consider how mothers of kindergartners navigate their families’ experiences within a community and how their children’s school experiences affect their interactions and investment in a place. The questions this research asks is: How do mothers define and describe their neighborhood? What role does the school play as mothers navigate their children’s experiences in the community? Findings indicate that the way that families conceptualize and manage their context indicates that their values, needs, and life aspirations, which are clearly connected to their experiences and perceptions of the school.     

加强六盘水中心城区社区治理的实践与思考

近年来,随着社会的不断发展,社区治理中的相关问题日渐凸显。文章通过对六盘水中心城区的社区治理工作进行调查与分析,指出了该社区服务管理中存在社区事务办理功能尚未很好地呈现、社区居民参与社区治理的积极性不高、社区治理经费匮乏、社区治理工作者的综合素质较低四个方面的问题,并提出了相应的对策和建议,以期提高该社区及其他社区的治理效率,促进社区的健康发展。     

改进城市社区体育运作模式的研究——以福州市的社区体育发展为例

社区体育是关系到人们健康、社会和谐的大事,需要大力的发展.而在我国社会高速发展的今天,社区体育的运作模式已在一定程度上制约了其更好更快的发展,很有必要对现行的运作模式进行必要改进,以适应社区体育发展的需要.     

农村社区体育：留守儿童心理成长干预的现实路径——基于公共治理视域

公共治理理论是后工业时代从“政府中心”向“公民中心”转变的公民治理理论,提倡政府、市场与社会各方协作互动。回顾我国农村社区体育和农村留守儿童问题现状及其相关研究,展望其未来趋势与前景,农村社区体育在干预留守儿童心理成长方面有天时、地利与人和的优势。从公共治理的视角看,以农村社区体育干预留守儿童心理成长,符合构建和谐社会的时代要求,因而是可行且必要的。     

甘肃省城镇居民体育行为调查与分析研究

通过对甘肃省城镇居民体育行为的调查,结果表明:城镇居民具有较强的体育意识和行为,参与体育活动的频度较高,锻炼时间较长;体育锻炼的主要目的是防病治病,提高运动能力,减轻工作和生活压力、调节情绪;喜爱参加的运动项目是步行、健身操(舞)和秧歌、跑步、球类运动;影响其参加体育活动的主要因素是工作和家务忙,缺少活动场地。不同年龄、性别人群在体育活动的频度、时间、项目、健身目的等方面具有异同性。     

从标准化到优质化：上海社区学校发展性评估的实践逻辑

社区学校作为上海社区教育发展的重要载体,在“十二五”至“十四五”期间,经过标准化建设评估、内涵建设评估、优质化建设评估三个阶段的发展性评估实践探索,目标指向各有侧重。社区学校发展性评估作为衡量社区教育质量的重要举措,在评估主体、评估指标、评估方式、评估结果方面也发生了相应改变。应将发展作为评估不变的价值追求,在深入推进社区学校发展性评估的过程中,处理好优质与均衡、阶段与周期、外部与内部的关系,推动社区学校整体提速、提质、提效。     

Developing teachers’ pedagogical identities through a community of practice: learning to sustain the use of a student-centered inquiry as curriculum approach

ABSTRACT

This collaborative self-study explores how educators’ pedagogical identities developed in the process of learning to use a Student-Centered Inquiry as Curriculum (SCIC) approach in activity settings within a community of practice (CoP). Participants included a university professor, college instructor, postdoctoral student and doctoral student. Data included 16 weekly field notes and debriefings following observations, teacher artifacts, 16 weekly collaborative group meetings, and 3 90-minute interviews per teacher. Culture, values, beliefs and professional background were critical for the development of the teachers’ pedagogical identities in the process of learning to use a SCIC approach within a community of practice. These experiences created for some, places to further develop their ideas about teaching, whereas for others they caused great discomfort and a sense of personal loss. The CoP facilitated the development of the teachers’ pedagogical identities, changing positionalities, and negotiating culture, values, beliefs and professional backgrounds.     

Volunteerism and volunteer management in sport

This article reflects on existing research examining volunteerism and volunteer management in sport from individual, institutional, multi-level, and policy perspectives. The overview reveals that a substantial body of knowledge has been generated, particularly on the individual perspective and, to a lesser extent, on the institutional perspective. Existing studies from the individual perspective have mainly examined antecedents and experiences of volunteers in sport organizations and at sport events, focusing on topics such as motivation, commitment, and satisfaction, while consequences of volunteerism have attracted less research. On the institutional perspective, research efforts have focused on topics such as recruitment and retention of volunteers and performance management. Studies taking a multi-level perspective give indications about how the institutional or community context affects volunteerism and volunteer management. From a policy perspective, research has mainly looked at challenges for volunteerism resulting from policy implementation and the monetary value of voluntary work. The overview also reveals that many studies have examined the mass of volunteers in general or volunteers in leading positions, while other groups of volunteers, such as voluntary coaches and referees, have attracted less research. After reflecting on topics examined and key findings, the article provides suggestions for future research within each perspective, ensuring that all perspectives and groups of volunteers are attended to.     

韩国“新农村运动”验及启示

介绍了韩国“新农村运动”的概况、主要特点，韩国政府为推动新农村运动采取的措施，韩国“新农村运动”的影响。针对我国“新农村运动”的实际，文章提出了三点借鉴意见：农村现代化与工业化、城市化同步推进，发挥政府职能作用，形成改变农村落后面貌的体制机制。
