论高职数学教师的素质

从数学修养、教学水平、教学态度和人格特征、终身学习四方面对高职数学教师素质要求展开论述,以期更好适应高速的科技发展和学生特点,形成“细致、扎实、灵活、深刻”的教学风格。     

普通高校篮球选项课运用“领会教学法”的实验研究

为适应普通高校体育教学课程改革,将"领会教学法"引入篮球选项课教学中,通过一年的教学实验取得了良好的教学效果。实验表明:"领会教学法"教学符合现代篮球运动的内在要求和技能学习规律,在学生技术掌握、比赛能力、认知能力以及提高自信心等方面收到良好效果;在培养学生学习兴趣,激发学习主动性方面也起到积极的作用。建议在普通高校篮球选项课教学中积极推广"领会教学法"。     

20世纪中国哲学的定位与重构——《三教融合与中西会通》自序

20世纪是中国社会由传统走向现代的转型时期。中国哲学作为一种学术体系,在百年间经过学科定位、对象界定、融合中西、理论重构,亦基本完成了由传统向现代的学术转型。胡适确有"创始之功",冯友兰深思力作,为之树立了"典范"。面对世纪之交全球化思潮兴起、文化多元主义流行、世界范围内中国思想研究非哲学化的历史文化取向变化,及其中国哲学工作者"同行迷失"之困惑,"中国哲学"的学科独立性又一次面临挑战。为此要继续沿着冯友兰"接着讲"的"哲学创作(重构)"思路,在如何既能保持"中国的"属性和特质不变而又能促进其向"现代"创造性转化这两个有机联系的问题上,进一步对中国哲学的定位和重构进行新的哲学思考。     

开放式与闭锁式运动技能教学方法的比较研究 ———以普通高校女生排球和大众健美操项目运动技能的习得过程为例

采用教学试验法对高校体育英语和外贸英语两个非体育类专业本科女生习得排球和大众健美操项目的运动技能过程进行实证研究,结果表明:领会式教学方法对学生掌握两个项目的运动技能及其基本战术意识的形成是行之有效的手段。

梁启超对西方新闻观念解读的本土化特征集中体现在他的新闻自由观、报刊功能观、受众观方面。这种本土化解读与梁启超的调和主义中西文化观及其中国传统文化的认知视野分不开。     

“Ah,I know why…”: children developing understandings through engaging with a picture book

This article describes part of a study that explored the responses of nine‐ and ten‐year‐old children during a picturebook read aloud in a small group setting in a New Zealand classroom. The read aloud was interactive, where the participants were encouraged to respond to the book and to each other throughout the session. The authors created a framework for analysing the responses, adapting the model of Lawrence Sipe (2008) with its five categories of literary understanding, by expanding on the analytical category to enable a finer analysis of the responses. This article discusses the children's depth of thinking and the understandings they developed as they engaged with the read aloud. It also describes how the adapted framework allowed a closer analysis of these understandings, including the way the elements of art used in the illustrations contributed to the children's ideas. The findings suggest ways picturebooks can be used to promote children's thinking and how teachers can guide discussion about a complex text. Implications for use of the framework in further research are discussed.     

An examination of the construct of legitimate peripheral participation as a theoretical framework in literacy research

This review critically examines the use in literacy research of Lave and Wenger's (1991) construct of legitimate peripheral participation (LPP), a view of learning as participation by which newcomers adopt a group's ways, moving from periphery to the center of a practice. From a search through 10 literacy-relevant journals from 1991 to the present, we purposively selected 20 pieces that relied centrally on LPP and analyzed these for ways in which practice and apprenticeship were instantiated. Regarding practice, we inquired about legitimacy and engagement; regarding apprenticeship, we asked about the deployment of experts' attention and the cost of newcomers' mistakes. Using the benefit of the 20+ years since the original publication, our critique offers six principles to evaluate researchers' use of LPP and community of practice as constructs to describe learners' experience, and summarizes how some of our 20 studies made felicitous use of the constructs and others less so.     

Beyond the Classroom: Fostering Soft Skills in Pre-Professional LIS Organizations

Are LIS graduates being adequately prepared to work in the information workplace? While students are absorbing valuable knowledge, library school curricula do not foster the essential soft skills students need to thrive in their post-graduate careers. However by being an active member of a graduate student organization, future LIS professionals can gain and hone effective soft skills, such as communication, initiative, curiosity, understanding, and the means to deal with mistakes, while adopting responsibilities that will all ultimately translate to success in the professional workplace, particularly in their first positions following graduation.
