英语课堂中语码转换现象的语用观

语码转换的运用,能满足师生互动中各自的面子需求,是学生的学习和交际策略,也是教师的教学策略。语码转换对于外语教学和二语习得研究具有语用意义。     

新教师适应期内的主要问题及其对策

新教师在适应期内遇到的一些困惑和问题是制约他们成长与成才的一大瓶颈,它直接关系到学校未来的发展和教育质量的提高。因此,对新教师适应期内存在的主要问题进行分析研究是十分必要的。我们从职业品德、职业心理和职业能力三个方面对新教师适应期内的主要问题进行了调查、分析与研究,提出了帮助新教师顺利度过适应期,并健康成长为优秀教师的应对策略。     

表“怀疑／不确信”语言表达式的语用功能分析

在日常言语交际中,人们往往避免使用绝对的、不留一点余地的表述方式,而是大量采用一些不太明确或不太确定的语言手段来委婉地表达自己的观点。本文从收集到的语料中总结了一些常见的表示“怀疑／不确信”的语言表达式,并从顺应论的角度对其进行了语用功能分析,共总结出五类语用功能：信息功能、推进言谈功能、语用缓和功能、唤起同感功能和礼貌功能。     

论《土生子》中比格的刻板印象及其对刻板印象的操弄

刻板印象在《土生子》中起了至关重要的作用,它不仅是情节不可或缺的部分,而且成为推动情节不断向前发展演变的力量。小说主人公比格的刻板印象及其对刻板印象的操弄,揭示了种族歧视政策影响下的扭曲的刻板印象不能实现有效的跨文化交际的文化意义。     

Preservice science teachers’ ecological value orientation: A comparative study between Indonesia and Korea

Abstract

The current study aimed to examine differences in ecological values between Indonesian and Korean preservice science teachers. Fifteen items from revised-New Ecological Paradigm based on value orientations were used as the research instrument. Two hundred seventy-three preservice science teachers participated in the study. Rasch analyses of dimensionality, item fit, and differential item functioning were used to explore the validity of the instrument. The independent-sample T-test and Pearson’s correlation test were utilized to compare data from the two countries. Preservice science teachers from the two different countries showed significant differences in only one of the three value orientations, which is egoistic value. Relationships among cultural, educational, and economic factors, as well as environmental values in these countries are discussed to fully explore the findings.     

对外汉语教学中的文化因素教学

语言与文化密不可分。在对外汉语教学中应当重视对汉语文化因素的教学,培养学生的跨文化意识,提高学生跨文化交际能力。积极而充分的文化因素的教学对语言教学本身十分有利,能起到促进和深化的作用。     

从民族文化的差异看翻译的异化与归化

翻译是源语和译语在语言和文化两个层面上的转换过程.对文化因素的处理主要有两种方法,即归化翻译与异化翻译.随着全球化进程的不断加快和各民族文化间的交流的日益频繁,在翻译实践中,译者就必须通过异化方法,尽量保留原作的民族文化特色,突出源语文化的价值和地位,在译语中建构源语的民族文化身份.同时,考虑到译文读者对源语文化的接受能力和译文的可读性,译者只能通过归化翻译对源语文化加以补充说明,使译文符合译语语言文化规范,以便达到交流与沟通的目的.翻译中的文化异化已经成为一种必然的趋势,而语言上的归化则是对译文语言表达的必要补充.     

Examining the Gender Gap in Educational Outcomes in Public Education: Involving Pre-Service School Counsellors and Teachers in Cross-Cultural and Interdisciplinary Research

International educational statistics have reported a gender gap in educational outcomes, with boys falling behind girls in regard to grades, high school graduation and university enrollment and retention. This study involved pre-service teachers and school counsellors in Colleges of Education at three universities on three continents carrying out focus groups with public school students, interviews with educators, and examining national and international quantitative data to investigate this issue from a local and a cross cultural perspective. Common themes were found in each country and implications for addressing the problem considered.     

Selecting learning tasks: Effects of adaptation and shared control on learning efficiency and task involvement

Complex skill acquisition by performing authentic learning tasks is constrained by limited working memory capacity [Baddeley, A. D. (1992). Working memory. Science, 255, 556–559]. To prevent cognitive overload, task difficulty and support of each newly selected learning task can be adapted to the learner’s competence level and perceived task load, either by some external agent, the learner herself, or both. Health sciences students (N = 55) participated in a study using a 2 × 2 factorial design with the factors adaptation (present or absent) and control over task-selection (program control or shared control). As hypothesized, adaptation led to more efficient learning; that is, higher learning outcomes combined with less effort invested in performing the learning tasks. Shared control over task-selection led to higher task involvement, that is, higher learning outcomes combined with more effort directly invested in learning. Adaptation also produced greater task involvement.
