按照顺应论的观点,翻译是一种动态的选择过程,即文本与译者之间的顺应和交流过程,当语言的形式和意义两者之间存在矛盾时,应选择与译语语境和语言结构相适应的表达形式,使译文达到与原文功能意义上的对等。     

Informing Culturally Competent Practice Through Cross-Racial Friendships

International and interdisciplinary literature on cross-racial friendships is critically reviewed as a source of relevant and provocative data for counselling professionals dedicated to multiculturalism. The authors discuss the dynamics of cross-racial friendships and implications for counsellors. Using practical examples grounded by interdisciplinary literature, the authors expand discussions about racism within the counselling profession.     

Motivation beliefs of secondary school teachers in Canada and Singapore: A mixed methods study

A mixed methods approach was used to explore secondary teachers’ motivation beliefs in Canada and Singapore. Results from Study 1 revealed that socio-economic status (SES) was the strongest predictor of school climate in Canada, and that collective efficacy mediated the effect of SES on school climate in Singapore, but not in Canada. In Study 2, interviews were conducted with 10 teachers in Canada and 14 teachers in Singapore. Teachers in both settings discussed students’ social and behavior problems, but the range of the social problems was greater in Canada than in Singapore, and had a stronger impact on teachers’ motivation beliefs.

高校专业设置与区域产业结构及发展的适应性研究——以福建师大福清分校专业设置与福清市产业发展的适应性为例

大学的基本功能之一是为社会服务,大学的专业设置合理与否,不仅关系到大学能否履行社会的服务功能,还与学生将来的就业、学校自身的发展密切相关。本文分析了福清分校专业设置现状及福清市产业现状与发展趋势,提出了其专业设置和建设的对策建议：1、要紧贴市场需求,以产业发展为坐标,以职业分析为导向,灵活地设置课程体系和教学内容。2、要“立足福清（福州）,面向海西”,要有一定的前瞻性,紧跟时代潮流,主动适应社会经济动态变化。积极为地方经济和社会发展服务。     

浅谈小学音乐教学中的创新教育

小学音乐教学中的创新教育能提高学生对音乐的兴趣度,丰富学生的知识,拓宽学生的视野,让学生学到更多的音乐文化。最关键的是对学生进行创新教育,能提高学生的创新水平和创新能力,这也是进行创新教育的主要目的。教师应让学生从小做起,接受创新教育,以便学生在未来进行任何一项教育时都能适应创新理念,适应创新理念,也就是适应现代社会的发展潮流。     

顺应论在中国的研究综述

自从1987年Verschueren提出"顺应论"以来,国内研究者们从引进介绍该理论到将该理论应用到翻译、文学以及语用学研究中作了大量研究.文章回顾了顺应论在中国的研究,归纳了我国学者们主要的研究成果,分析了该领域的研究特点和存在的不足,提出了有待于进一步讨论的问题.     

Empowering Adolescent Readers: Intertextuality in Three Novels by David Almond

In Skellig, Kit’s Wilderness, and Clay, David Almond employs various types of intertextuality to enrich his narratives. Through the use of allusion, adaptation, collage, and mise-en-abyme, he encourages his adolescent readers to seek out precursor texts and to consider the interrelationships between these texts and his own. By so doing, he demonstrates the respect he has for his readers and empowers them to become active makers of meaning.

Out of the book and into the classroom: The experiences of Korean social studies pre-service teachers in an international teaching practicum in the United States

Despite the growing interest and importance of pre-service teachers’ cross-cultural experiences, a review of the literature shows that few studies have discussed the international teaching practicum experiences of pre-service teachers from Asian countries. Bridging this gap, this qualitative case study examined the perceptions and experiences of 15 Korean social studies pre-service teachers who participated in an international teaching practicum in the United States. The findings of the study demonstrated that although participants encountered difficulties in speaking a foreign language and adjusting to a different culture, they also gained confidence and self-efficacy by negotiating and actively participating in the teaching and learning process. This international teaching practicum also helped participants promote their own understanding of multiculturalism and their different perspectives of the teachers’ roles, teaching pedagogies, and local education systems. This study offers implications for future multicultural professional development in teacher education and contributes to developing a body of research and scholarship on international teaching practicums from Asian contexts that have, to date, been largely underexplored.     

The centrality of Aboriginal cultural workshops and experiential learning in a pre-service teacher education course: a regional Victorian University case study

This paper discusses a cross-cultural pedagogical approach, couched in a theory–practice nexus, used at a Victorian regional university to guide non-Indigenous pre-service teachers’ (PSTs) engagement with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives and cultures. We have drawn on qualitative and statistical data, and current issues in Australian and international literature, to explore the relevance and success suggested by data from this cross-cultural pedagogical approach, in particular the notion of teacher ethnicity in racialised spaces. In doing so, we have addressed recent sentiments about a lack of quantitative and qualitative research that explores inclusion of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander content and discussions of ways in which tertiary educators construct and influence teachings about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures. It is anticipated that this paper will generate further dialogue and research-based evidence on ways in which other tertiary education providers may draw on cross-cultural theories to guide inclusion of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander content and perspectives in PST education courses.
