简析龙的构字与文化涵义

甲骨文中的“龙”字,形象地表达了先人朴素的思维意识。龙为祖先的传说,已成为中华民族的象征;龙从真龙天子到贤德君子的指代,反映了龙由宫廷的垄断到民间开放的变化历程;随着时代的发展,“龙”文化涵义也在发生新的变化。     

论廖家骅的音乐教育思想

廖家骅先生作为当代中国音乐理论家、音乐教育家,为中国音乐教育学科的发展奠定了重要的基础,可称为“中国音乐教育学科的领路人”。基于对廖家骅学术成果的系统梳理,从其对音乐审美特性、音乐教育审美特性、音乐教育与审美心理和智力发展等方面的研究总结其音乐教育美育观;从其对高师音乐教育人才培养的职责、高师音乐教育培养目标等问题的关注概括其音乐教育通才观;从其对一线音乐教学、教育现状等现实问题与实践性问题的关注与评论提炼其音乐教育实践观,从而对他的音乐教育思想进行全面阐释。对廖家骅音乐教育思想的研究既是对我国音乐教育事业发展成就的总结与回顾,也是对我国当代音乐教育进一步发展的启示与借鉴。     

明清之际漳州海防遗存及其保护状况蠡测

漳州的海防文物,主要以明清两代的遗存为代表。结合志书典籍和第三次全国文物普查新发现的初步成果,试以卫、所、司、关、寨、台为载体挖掘漳州海防的历史家底,对拥有的主要遗存进行检索、梳理和阐述,并对其保护状况进行提议、蠡测和分析,进一步探讨做好漳州海防遗存的综合保护管理工作的主要思路与建议,以真正实现历史文化遗产的可持续保护、开发与利用。     

Cultural distance and expatriate job satisfaction

Despite its strong impact in domestic settings on job performance, organizational commitment, stress, and turnover intentions, job satisfaction has received little attention in the literature on expatriates. This paper analyzes the predictors of job satisfaction that may arise in an expatriate context. Drawing on the cultural distance perspective, we propose that the national cultural distance, supervisor's nationality, host-country language proficiency, expatriate type, and company nationality are important determinants of expatriate job satisfaction. Survey results from 148 expatriates in Japan demonstrate that national cultural distance, supervisor's nationality, and expatriate type have a statistically significant influence on expatriate job satisfaction. Theoretical and practical implications are provided.

Personality and preference for evaluation methods: A study among business administration students

The goal of this study is to verify whether preference for evaluation methods can be predicted by personality as defined by the Big Five model, when controlling for gender and business major. A sample of 108 students enrolled in two compulsory undergraduate business courses completed an online questionnaire. Analysis of multiple linear hierarchical regressions indicate that gender, business major and personality account for 7–16% of the variance in preference for case studies, group work, oral exams, written exams, multiple choice tests, and practical work. These findings are discussed with regard to the relationship between personality factors predicting preference for evaluation methods and potential impacts on student evaluation and academic success in business schools.
