试论傩的文化价值

傩是中国的一种古老文化现象,是早期人类狩猎运动的产物。从文化的产生与人类功利的辩证关系来看,傩从产生之初发展到傩文化体系的众多形态,它的文化价值体现在从产生到发展的整个过程里。探寻傩的起源乃至傩的整个历史发展轨迹,对于我们揭示傩的本质、研究傩的文化价值有重要作用。     

稻香村——贾宝玉从入世到出世的驿站

"稻香村"是《红楼梦》中"金陵十二钗"之一李纨的住处,在大观园的园林风格中显得非常突兀。作者浓墨重彩地渲染了它的田园风光,但这样精心构建的园林却遭到了贾宝玉的否定。一个被贾宝玉否定的园林景观,作者为什么要渲染它呢?它与宝玉的形象塑造有着怎样的关系?隐藏着作者怎样的用心?本文试图就这一问题进行分析。     

施莱尔马赫《论宗教》中的社会性原则

学界过去常常把施莱尔马赫的情感宗教诠释成主体主义的、私人的宗教,忽视了其宗教观中深厚的社会、历史性维度。文章通过对《论宗教》的深入分析指出社会性原则是《论宗教》的建构性原则。施莱尔马赫认为宗教社会对于作为宗教本质的“直观与情感”而言,并非可有可无的“辅助选项”,而是“必须被接收的规范性现实”。施莱尔马赫的宗教沟通具有三个特征：自由、交互和互补,基于此,《论宗教》描述的宗教社会具有三大特征：自由、流动和统一。     

基于理雅各和韦利《道德经》英译的翻译生态研究

理雅各和韦利是19世纪和20世纪英国汉学界的阶段性代表人物,标志着英国“传教士汉学”向“专业汉学”的历史过渡。从翻译生态伦理的综观视角,细读两位汉学家的《道德经》译本,主动把握传播中国文化的诠释权与话语权,实现典籍英译研究历史性与现代性的交互嬗变,在弥散性与散点式的翻译生态链中,促成“译者—译境—译文”的融合迭新,在新文科背景下合理拓展《道德经》英译的研究边界。     

Religious socialization of youth involved in child welfare

Increased religiosity is associated with a variety of improved outcomes, especially for youth in disadvantaged contexts. Although youth involved in child welfare may experience protective effects of religious participation or values, little is known about the impact of maltreatment on religious development. Using the National Survey of Child and Adolescent Well-Being, a nationally representative study of child welfare involved families, correlates of religious attendance and importance of religion for youth were investigated using weighted logistic regression at two waves 18 months apart. Youth self-reports of religious attendance and their ratings of its importance were associated with religious attendance of their caregivers, whether birth-parents or foster parents. Foster parents were more likely to attend religious services than birth parents. Increases in youth attendance from Wave 1 to Wave 2 were associated with high youth religious importance at Wave 1, whereas decreases in attendance were associated with moving between home and foster placements. Increases in religious importance from Wave 1 to Wave 2 were associated with religious attendance at Wave 1 and with the youth being Black.     

Taking religions seriously in the sociology of education: going beyond the secular paradigm

Abstract

Valuable developments in the Sociology of Education over the last 40?years have involved the widening and deepening of analytical perspectives to include not only class-based research in education but also the complex interactions of class, race and gender in all educational, social, economic and political contexts. From a sociology of knowledge perspective the field has become historically more mature and multi-­dimensional in its research and analysis of socio-educational contexts internationally. This paper argues that despite these progressive developments, one dimension is still largely ignored i.e. that of the religions of the world and of the social and cultural implications of these faiths for education today. Sociological analysis which elides a religious dimension not only presents an over-simplified view of social relations in the modern West but also fails to make an authentic engagement with education.
