浅谈语文教学中的课外阅读

课外阅读不仅是语文课堂的延伸,也是语文课堂的补充。学生在教师的指导下进行有针对性的课外阅读,既可以积累所学作品的背景资料,又可以在比较中理解所学的作家作品,培养审美情趣,提高审美能力。     

Mastery Motivation in Children with Intellectual Disability: Is there Evidence for a Down Syndrome Behavioural Phenotype?

The main purpose of the current study was to provide empirical evidence to support or refute assumptions of phenotypic deficits in motivation for children with Down syndrome (DS). Children with moderate intellectual disability (MID) associated with etiologies other than DS were recruited in an extension of a previous study that involved children with DS and typically developing children. The participants were 29 children with MID and 33 children with DS who were matched on mental age to 33 typically developing children, aged 3–8 years. Mastery motivation was assessed on task measures of curiosity, preference for challenge and persistence, as well as parental reports. There were no significant group differences on the mastery motivation tasks. Parental ratings of mastery motivation differed, with typically developing children generally being rated more highly than each of the disability groups. The view that motivational deficits are part of the DS behavioural phenotype was not supported.

Improving teaching and learning of basic maths and reading in Africa: Does teacher preparation count?

Teacher education has an important role in ensuring quality of learning especially for the poorest children. The article draws on a study of teacher preparation for the early primary grades in six African countries – Ghana, Kenya, Mali, Senegal, Tanzania and Uganda – in reading and mathematics. Initial teacher education had the strongest impact on newly qualified teachers but also induced misplaced confidence leading to standardised teacher-led approaches that failed to engage learners. Learning to read was divorced from meaning while mathematical activities were not linked to learning concepts. We suggest that teacher education is reconstructed as a study of classroom practice that places children's learning at its centre.     

建构主义理论教学模式下英语自主性阅读的研究

近年来,随着高考的改革,阅读理解在考试中所占的比例也扩大了,英语阅读教学的质量在一定程度上决定了英语教学的质量。我们需要培养学生阅读学习的的独立性和主动性,创设良好的教学环境和教学活动来激发他们的自主学习和合作学习精神。可见,提高学生的自主性阅读能力是非常重要的。本文使用建构主义理论来指导学生的英语自主阅读的研究。实践证明利用建构主义的课堂教学模式和课外的自主阅读的训练,是可以提高学生的自主阅读的能力的。

文学的丰盛繁荣,似乎已不再是文学的内容品质所能左右,作品只有在当下阅读中取得绝对存在权,才可能躲避束之高阁失去存在意义的危险。在庞大复杂、变换更迭的写作流冲撞下,阅读同时被赋予了重大使命,在或期待或激发或改变的运动中,成为作者与读者潜在较量、交流的一把标尺,一个疑难。
