Maximum Product,Even Less Process: Increasing Efficiencies in Archival Processing Using ArchivesSpace

As the archival profession has adapted to new challenges and adopted modern practices like More Product, Less Process, the University of Minnesota has embraced these changes. Even so, implementing new practices can take time and effort. With the adoption of ArchivesSpace in 2016, the University found itself being fast-tracked to even more efficient methods for establishing physical and intellectual control over collections. This article will examine the case studies of two large collections that were in the midst of being processed when ArchivesSpace was implemented at the University of Minnesota. How did the switch to ArchivesSpace impact the processing of these collections, and how will these experiences impact the future of archival processing at the University?     

The Florida Geographic Data Library: Lessons Learned and Workflows for Geospatial Data Management

The University of Florida GeoPlan Center has been organizing, standardizing, and distributing geospatial data since 1998 through the Florida Geographic Data Library (FGDL), a collection of Florida geospatial data from various agencies, as well as data developed in-house. With funding from the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), FGDL serves as a public distribution mechanism for hundreds of Florida geospatial data layers. Since 2004, FGDL layers have formed the data foundation for FDOT's interagency application known as efficient transportation decision making (ETDM), which facilitates the review and permitting process for proposed transportation projects. Data layers are standardized and inspected to ensure that the data are adequate for use in analysis and decision making. To efficiently manage the geospatial data and workflows, a quality assurance/quality control (QAQC) process and relational database schema was developed to track the standardization procedures, lineage, versioning, and archiving of the data layers. This article details the history of the Florida Geographic Data Library, challenges of managing a large geospatial data repository, development of a QAQC process and database schema, and lessons learned.

城乡居民收入存在差距,是世界各国工业化进程中普遍存在的基本事实,但城乡居民收入差距的过分扩大,会导致一系列不利于经济发展的后果,必须努力寻求城乡收入差距的平抑机制。我国当前城乡收入差距的平抑机制包括:调整国民收入分配格局,加大财政对农业、农村、农民的支持力度;进行制度创新,为平抑城乡收入差距提供制度保障;推进工业化、城镇化进程,转移农村富余劳动力;积极推进农业产业化经营,拓展农业内部增收渠道。

利用一般的Lyapunov泛函方法，讨论了具有多时滞非线性项的中立型一般Lurie控制系统的绝对稳定性问题，并给出了一些实用的代数判据。     

PCS抗干扰问题的应用

分析了电磁干扰及其对PCS干扰的来源，指出在实际应用时要综合考虑PCS的抗干扰性能，并结合实际提出了几种抗干扰措施。     

From data source to co-researchers? Tracing the shift from ‘student voice’ to student–teacher partnerships in Educational Action Research

This article provides a review of the concept of student voice as it has been represented in Educational Action Research from the 1990s to the present day. Contextualised within an exploration of the challenges posed by educational action research that incorporates student voice in the current age of accountability as reflected and understood in academia, we explore issues of power and authority, issues of process and issues of ownership as they emerge in the literature. We note ways in which these challenges are manifest in primary and secondary schooling and in tertiary education. Finally, we survey some recent representations of student voice in Educational Action Research, observing something of a shift from earlier conceptualisations of students as a ‘data source’ to a more active involvement as co-researchers and joint constructors of knowledge, progressing toward more active student–teacher partnerships.     

中国先进文化与学校思想政治教育模式的创建

中国先进文化是推动生产力发展，满足人民群众日益增长的精神文化需要，促进社会全面进步的文化；同时也是指导学校思想政治教育模式创建的重要原则。在系统学习“三个代表”重要思想的基础上，阐述了中国先进文化的科学内涵及其特点，正确理解和把握中国先进文化与学校思想政治教育内在联系，提出了在中国先进文化指引下，创建学校思想政治教育模式的具体思路。     

新时期我国中学教育改革及教师队伍建设

以素质教育为核心的教育体制改革,是我国中学教育改革的战略重点。但在从传统的应试教育向素质教育转变的过程中,我们的教师队伍却面临着极大的挑战。如何正视教师队伍中存在的问题,建设一支适应新时代要求的、高素质的教师队伍,是实现这一改革的关键环节。本文从素质教育对教师队伍的要求、我国中学教学教师队伍存在的问题以及解决这些问题的思路三个方面阐述了笔者对这一问题的思考。     

"专接本"的实施给专科院校带来的影响及对策研究

本文通过对部分专科学生和高中生的问卷调查结果进行分析，讨论了“专接本”政策的实施给专科院校在扩大学生就业、增加在校生学习动力、扩大生源等方面产生的积极影响，对实施过程中存在的一些问题提出了一些初步设想。     

关于我国教育基金会发展运作的建议

教育基金会是指资助教育公益事业的非政府、非营利的社会中介组织。本文从梳理国外教育基金会的发展历史和特点入手，分析了我国教育基金会的发展现状和发展趋势，剖析了当前我国教育基金会发展存在的主要问题。进一步提出了建立和完善我国教育基金会运作管理模式的思考建议。
