Delinking rhetorics of neoliberalism: An analysis of South American leftist presidents’ speeches

We analyze the so-called Socialism of the twenty-first century in which nine South American governments turned to the left over the last 15 years. This South American socialist turn is seen as a delinking from the logics of dependency and pure neoliberalism. To explore the rhetorics that underlie this delinking process, we conducted both a macroanalysis and an intradiscursive rhetorical analysis of the inauguration and most significant speeches of all of the leftist South American presidents elected after 1999. We claim that a common critique of neoliberalism underlies the South American presidents’ speeches, which manifests through specific rhetorics concerning participatory democracy, social inclusion, and environmental protection. When they became transnational, these delinking rhetorics crafted a decolonial critique that calls for more indigenous models of development.     

The Stylistic Analysis of car ads languages

Automotive advertising language is mix of phonetics,vocabulary,rhetoric,syntax,and discourse language etc.,and owning a strong promotional effect which can functioned as a bridge between language expression and promotion system for essential products and consumers.As a kind of the commercial advertising,car advertising with its own unique language features not only for product considerably,but also enriches the advertising language.In order to analysis the car ads,this article draws attention from the aspects of the phonetics,vocabulary,rhetoric and syntax features,and aims to get a further and better analysis or understanding of the car ads Languages.     

2002年与2007年中国进出口贸易隐含碳研究

本文利用瓦尔拉-卡塞尔模型,计算了2002年与2007年中国进出口贸易隐含碳量。结果表明：2002年与2007年中国出口贸易隐含碳量分别为3.64亿t和9.81亿t,进口贸易隐含碳量分别为1.28亿t和2.70亿t;加工贸易隐含碳量分别为0.48亿t和0.96亿t。2002年与2007中国进出口贸易隐含碳净输出量分别为2.84亿t和8.08亿t,分别占当年国内排放总量的29.8%和47.4%。同时本文对中国进出口贸易隐含碳在日本、欧盟、东盟三技术水平情景下分析后,发现碳减排空间巨大。中国应加快产业结构的优化、能源结构的调整、生产技术与管理水平的提高,尽快的走上低碳经济之路;同时国际社会应敦促发达国家兑现其对国际社会的承诺,承担与其相匹配的减排责任,并积极推进先进技术、管理经验等向发展中国家扩散及加大对发展中国家资金的支持力度,从而实现全球经济发展与碳减排的＂双赢＂,减缓全球气候变化     

美剧《越狱》对白语用分析

《越狱》是美国福克斯电视台于2005年推出的剧情类连续剧。该剧成功地展示了影视剧作叙事艺术的精髓。剧内对白为语用研究提供了丰富的语料，借助合作原则的理论对这些语料进行研究，不仅可以探索影视语言的语用与修辞特色，还有助于理解角色的成长以及进一步探究剧情矛盾发展的特征。     

The nature and limits of slave insolence in the American south

A special mode of resistance, insolence, forced the Southern gentry to acknowledge a unique power among slaves: their speech. This essay (1) explains the lasting significance of the gentry's efforts to suppress slave speech, (2) recounts the elements of insolence according to ancient and modern authorities on rhetoric, and (3) illustrates how slaves suffered for using this discursive tactic effectively. The nature and limits of slave insolence illuminate several troubled dimensions of plantation society.     

巴赫金对话理论的修辞学研究

巴赫金(M.M.Bakhtin)学术思想的核心和精髓是对话理论,其主旨在于强调一种积极的、崇尚个性、注重平等参与的人文精神,对话思想贯穿于他的语言学和符号学思想。虽然巴赫金不是修辞学家,但他有关修辞学的陈述都倡导将修辞学解释为对话,从而确认了话语的各种形式。巴赫金的对话概念极大地发展和丰富了修辞学传统,由此而形成的对话修辞学将巴赫金作品中和现代文化理论中所形成的新的概念应用于修辞学传统,给传统修辞学注入了新的活力。巴赫金的对话修辞学是一种检测我们与他人的观点以及检测我们自身的手段,尤其是对我们个体的和文化的差异的一种检测。从修辞学的视角来探讨巴赫金的对话理论,有助于对其理论能进一步加以审视和理解。     

陈望道论离合

陈望道的离合研究，是与其析字研究联系在一起的。他的析字体现了他重视汉字修辞的理论主张。以析字命名来源于顾炎武，把析字分为三大类来源于王观国。在此基础上，他广集例证后归纳了九个小类，离合则成为其中的一类。陈望道第一次明确地揭示了离合与析字的关系，而且他所列例证及其分析体现了离合中“作者离，读者合”的结构形式，同时也指出了离合的替代功能。但是，陈望道关于离合的研究存在着明显的不足：把离合看做析字的一个小类，把《郡姓名字诗》这首综合运用离合与减笔的诗作为离合的典型例证，没有体现离合的另一种形式“作者合，读者离”。     

口译的认知语用修辞研究

口译学科作为一个新生学科,是一个多学科复合性的,以翻译学为基础的边缘学科。本文通过探讨口语学和口译学,厘清口译过程的深度认知,并且以认知语用的视角,从语音形式修辞技法、语义修辞两个方面阐述口译语篇的重构中的修辞研究。
