硕士研究生计量经济学课程“三位一体”教学体系的构建

如何迅速提升硕士研究生采用计量分析方法进行数据分析的能力,跨越学术论文写作中的方法性障碍,一直是计量经济学教学工作者面对的挑战。本文以调查数据为基础分析了硕士研究生学习计量经济学的优势和劣势,并以学生的课堂需求为出发点,提出了以与学生专业相关的案例为引导,以计量理论所体现的思想为支撑,以实验结果的解读为主线的"三位一体"教学体系,为非数量经济学专业硕士研究生计量经济学教学改革提供借鉴。     

Perceived Role of Multimedia Instructional Materials on Multicriteria Technology and Engineering Decisions*

Studies have shown that it is difficult for people to deal with multicriteria decision‐making situations. Information technology tools such as decision‐support systems and expert systems have been developed in order to help them in such situations. Another tool that has been identified as helping managers understand complex engineering decision‐making situations is multimedia instructional materials. This research investigates the perceptions of business versus engineering students on improvement of their higher‐level cognitive skills when they participated in a multimedia‐based case study that used an expert system to model a complex engineering and technical problem. Two groups of students, business and engineering, participated in an experiment, where they analyzed the case study and made their recommendations. Two questionnaires measured their perceptions on the improvements achieved on different constructs. A structural equations model was developed in order to test the research hypotheses with business students being the experimental group and the engineering students as a control group. The major findings are no significant relationship between student major and higher‐order cognitive skills improvement, business students perceived more higher‐order skills improvement compared to engineering students, both groups perceived an improvement in learning‐driven factor, and business students valued learning‐driven factors more compared to engineering students. These results show that multimedia instructional materials were perceived to be very useful in making multicriteria engineering and technical decisions.     

研究生就业观对专业就业匹配的影响关系研究

经济高质量发展需要高质量人才支撑,而研究生就业与专业匹配程度是影响高质量人才的重要因素。利用中部某农林院校研究生就业调查数据,构建定序Logit模型,探讨研究生就业观对其专业就业匹配的影响作用。研究发现:研究生就业态度、就业期望、职业发展目标对其专业就业匹配有着积极影响,但择业观不对专业就业匹配产生影响;就业观对研究生专业就业匹配的影响因性别而有所差异,职业发展目标不对女性研究生的专业就业匹配产生影响。     

Linking practice and theory using Engaged Scholarship

ABSTRACT

This paper reports on a study aiming to develop theory and improve practice within an Engineering Education context. The focus is on the development of students’ graduate-level work skills during Higher Education programmes and a specific practice example provided an ideal study opportunity. Engaged Scholarship, a research approach from Management Science, was selected as it provided a way to study practice that can generate both theoretical and practical knowledge. This paper summarises the philosophical underpinnings of the approach and sets out the strengths and challenges in applying it. The research design is then evaluated, concluding that the design is internally consistent and suitable for this study. The authors then reflect on implementation, provide examples of findings and discuss some of the practical challenges encountered. Practice improvements implemented to date include improvements to reflection activities and skills definition, and a theory of developing work skills in HE programmes is emerging.     

应用型本科电子系统设计课程教学改革与实践

电子系统设计课程是电子信息工程本科专业重要的课程,课程的研究内容包括信号的产生、放大、采集、分析与处理。文章以电子信息类应用型本科专业转型及本科工程教育专业认证为背景,从电子系统设计课程教学质量监控实际问题出发,提出了具有自我监测与修正功能的双闭环实时动态反馈式教学网络架构,并将其应用于电子系统设计课程教学改革与实践,提升教学效果明显。     

多学科融合的机械专业工程热力学教学改革探索

工程热力学是机械专业重要的学科基础课,对培养现代化工程技术人才具有重要作用。通过多年的教学与实践,提出采用多学科融合的机械专业工程热力学教学模式,探索以实际应用为导向的新型教学方法。配合线上线下互补式教学平台,以及合理的教学实施方案。实践表明,多学科融合的工程热力学教学模式可有效提高学生学习兴趣,激发学习热情,增强理论结合实际的能力。     

高校“道路工程”教学浅析与改进

针对现有普通高校工科教学,尤其是土木工程类教学中理论知识烦琐、枯燥、专业基础课向专业课过渡期间学生实际体验性不强等问题进行了简要分析并提出三点改进措施:课前课后观看工程类电视纪录片;结合“项目学习”教学方法,在课堂内以企业优秀工程汇报片为线进行串讲;积极推进校企合作,鼓励学生在专业课学习之前进行专业见习并重视实习的考核与评价。     

硕士研究生教育现状与创新教育的探索

结合目前我国研究生教育的实际情况，从研究生的培养目标出发，探索如何有效地利用现有的教育环境资源培养研究生创新人才的可行性方案。     

A review of literature on employability skill needs in engineering

Encouraging skills development is a key part of the UK Government’s strategy. This emphasis on skills has led to changes in Higher Education, where there is an increasing recognition of the need to enhance students’ employability. This paper reviews the data on the type of employer skill needs available in the existing literature with a particular emphasis on those skills required by engineering and manufacturing employers. Statistical data related to skill gaps in engineering and manufacturing in the UK and London/Thames Gateway are presented with the intention to determine whether and how these relate to the employability skills and competences listed by various organisations. The paper arrives at a number of conclusions. In summary, for the ‘engineering and manufacturing workforce skills development’ ethos to become widespread in London (and the UK in general), a lot more needs to be done to understand the needs of industry to be able to develop provision that supports Londoners (and the UK citizens in general) in gaining appropriate skills in engineering. This can only be achieved through cooperative, inclusive, transparent and centrally coordinated approaches to skills assessment, monitoring and development.
