“四段式”教学模式在《西方经济学》课程教学中的应用

《西方经济学》传统教学模式存在一些问题,如教师教学理念有待提高,教学手段单一,学生缺乏对课程的理解,教学效果不理想。引入“四段式”教学模式,可以有效激发学生的学习兴趣,提高课程质量。“四段式”教学模式把课堂教学分为四段,教师发挥主导作用,同时注重在整个课堂教学过程中强调学生的主体作用,通过启发式教学实现学生的个人知识建构。     

外部不经济性环境行为的法律责任调整

从环境行为外部不经济性理论的产生、政府对外部不经济性环境行为进行干预的经济学基础两方面分析，环境法律责任的经济学基础是环境行为对环境产生的外部不经济性。基于此，政府必须利用法律责任对外部不经济性环境行为进行干预，甚至通过环境民事、行政和刑事法律责任对其进行调整。     

影响我国农村稳定的经济因素分析

农村经济体制变革和农村经济增长问题与农村稳定有直接关系,也是影响我国农村稳定的两大经济因素。前者面临土地流转、农业弱质、市场自身的困难和风险,后者面临农业的波动、农民收入增长缓慢、农民负担过重等问题。     

构建和谐社会的制度经济学视角

和谐社会的构建是指一个良性运行的社会系统的构建,这个系统的结构就是制度。按照制度经济学的说法,制度是为人类发生相互关系所提供的框架。要使社会和谐有序运行,就需构建相应的制度体系,包括正式制度体系和非正式制度体系。     

Math skills and market and non-market outcomes: Evidence from an Amazonian society of forager-farmers

Research in industrial nations suggests that formal math skills are associated with improvements in market and non-market outcomes. But do these associations also hold in a highly autarkic setting with a limited formal labor market? We examined this question using observational annual panel data (2008 and 2009) from 1121 adults in a native Amazonian society of forager-farmers in Bolivia (Tsimane’). Formal math skills were associated with an increase in wealth in durable market goods and in total wealth between data collection rounds, and with improved indicators of own reported perceived stress and child health. These associations did not vary significantly by people's Spanish skills or proximity to town. We conclude that the positive association between math skills and market and non-market outcomes extends beyond industrial nations to even highly autarkic settings.

针对当前国内高校政治经济学课程与西方经济学课程教学的实际情况,并结合当前我国新一轮基础教育课程改革的新趋势——课程综合化,探讨了政治经济学课程与西方经济学课程协同教学问题。这对习惯了分科教学的教师而言,是一个很的大挑战。主要从修订课程培养计划、组建教学团队、课前集体备课、课堂协同授课和课后共同评价与反恩五个方面来实施政治经济学与西方经济学课程的协同教学,实施过程注重专业的分工合作,突出团队协作,有助于系统整合教学资源,既提升了学生的综合能力,也有助于教师的专业发展。

高职高专院校《西方经济学》课程教学设计思路与实践

《西方经济学》具有理论性强、知识点多、较为抽象等特点,使得该课程的知识不易被学生领会和掌握,教学设计也就成为教师教学改革中所面临的难题。本文从设计思路、设计内容和努力方向三个方面阐述了《西方经济学》课程设计的思路与实践。     

Air Toxics Under the Big Sky: examining the effectiveness of authentic scientific research on high school students’ science skills and interest

Air Toxics Under the Big Sky is an environmental science outreach/education program that incorporates the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) 8 Practices with the goal of promoting knowledge and understanding of authentic scientific research in high school classrooms through air quality research. This research explored: (1) how the program affects student understanding of scientific inquiry and research and (2) how the open-inquiry learning opportunities provided by the program increase student interest in science as a career path. Treatment students received instruction related to air pollution (airborne particulate matter), associated health concerns, and training on how to operate air quality testing equipment. They then participated in a yearlong scientific research project in which they developed and tested hypotheses through research of their own design regarding the sources and concentrations of air pollution in their homes and communities. Results from an external evaluation revealed that treatment students developed a deeper understanding of scientific research than did comparison students, as measured by their ability to generate good hypotheses and research designs, and equally expressed an increased interest in pursuing a career in science. These results emphasize the value of and need for authentic science learning opportunities in the modern science classroom.
