也谈当今的大学英语教学

当今大学英语的教学集中在四个方面:综合英语教学和听说教学;基础英语教学和文化教学;基础英语教学和专门用途英语教学;传统教学模式和以现代技术为基础的多媒体教学模式。各个高校应结合实际情况,确保不同层次的学生在英语应用能力方面得到充分的训练和提高,从而使大学英语教学改革落到实处。     

图书馆参与政府信息资源再利用服务面临的问题及解决策略

作为社会交流系统的有机组成部分,图书馆与出版业、大众传媒等机构共同承担着各类信息资源传播的任务,是提供政府信息的重要职能部门,理应在政府信息资源再利用服务中发挥重要和关键作用。本文联系目前图书馆信息资源开发利用工作的实际,分析图书馆参与政府信息资源再利用服务面临的问题,最后提出解决政府信息资源再利用服务的办法,以推动我国的图书馆信息资源开发和利用工作。     

网络的伦理挑战与建设

信息网络正在开辟一个新的时代。网络不仅是一种新技术媒介,而且影响着我们生活的方方面面,既给人们带来了巨大的好处,又给现有的伦理带来了前所未有的威胁和挑战。因此,构建新的网络伦理规范势在必行,我们必须确立一系列基本原则,采取一系列有效措施,从而建立起适应网络伦理关系要求的新伦理观。     

Network analysis and qualitative discourse analysis of a classroom group discussion

ABSTRACT

A new methodology is proposed for qualitative discourse analysis (QDA) aimed at gaining enhanced insights into learning possibilities and indicators that arise during classroom group discussions. The constitution of this new methodology has two principle components: a discourse analysis approach that aims to identify the relationships between content and group dynamics; and a network analysis (NA) approach that uses the same data to identify meaning-related structural dynamics found in the data. The proposed methodology pairs these two components to create a supplementary iterative interchange that facilitates the attainment of greater analytic insights than are achievable by either of the two components individually. The critical aspects of the methodology are illustrated and discussed using real classroom data in ways that provide a procedural exemplar. The strengths and limitations of the proposed methodology are also discussed.

本文论述了在独立学院实施全面质量管理中应把握的几个关键性问题,即:确定领导作用、重视教职工素质的提高、做好各项基础工作、建构质量体系、加强实施过程的质量监控。

改革开放以来中国宅基法制建设取得了明显的绩效,但也存在不少问题。当前农村宅基地立法热点问题主要有:宅基地能否继承问题,宅基地转让问题,城市居民购买农村宅基地问题,农村宅基地使用权抵押问题,农村宅基地使用期限问题,农村宅基地使用权登记问题,宅基地使用权用补偿问题等。     

Education as Part of the Migratory Project of Latin American Migrant Women Traveling to the United States in Undocumented Conditions

Education is an indispensable element for the development of society. In Latin America, the point of origin of most of the undocumented immigrants to the United States, equal opportunity in access to education and educational achievement is still pending. The study presented here focuses on the analysis of the expectations of female migrants via Mexico’s northern border, focusing attention on educational attainment as an important aspect of the “American Dream” of the migrant women interviewed and their dependents.     

Incidence of violence in Turkish schools: A review

The present article deals with the incidence of violence cases inTurkish schools. A review of research based on published research reports andunpublished M.Sc. and Ph.D. dissertations is presented and basic lines of researchare discussed. Special emphasis was placed upon culturally specific issues,besides the culturally determined attitudes of parents and teachers. The need for anationwide system for the prevention of violence and corporal punishment wasemphasized.
